This is one of the very best Chinese buffet restaurants I’ve been to. The food is fresh and there’s a wide selection. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I enjoyed the fried bananas and of course the cheesecake was wonderful.
Last week when i went to silver palace the food there was delicious. The workers there are also amazing. They sell lucky cats for a reasonable price and i liked a lot and i bought one. The lucky cat worked and i got a raise in my job! Definitely 5/5 would come back!

The staff girls are on point here. Not sure if family owned very beautiful and friendly. Ther food is delicious. I had 5 plates piled and the ice cream. I'm new to Austin and happy I treated myself to there food.
We went on a Saturday evening. The food was okay. If you are hungry, you will get full. Some of the food was tasty, but others like the sushi was a bit dry. I would recommend they don’t put out so much at a time. Because while it looks presentable, it was so dry. I came here because of the waiter. The guy was phenomenal. I wish I knew his name. We had a pretty large group and he was on it. every time the drinks got low we’d return to cleared tables and filled drinks. He bounced from table to table swiftly. The atmosphere was great to me. They all were pleasant. I would go back just because of the customer service. However the food could be upgraded a tad. More seasoned options, some were bland.
We decided last minute to go for my father's birthday. They didn't hesitate to sit all 40 of us. We didn't wait a long time to be seated. There was plenty of food variety and everyone paid their own ticket. They did add gratuity to each ticket but being that we were a large group it was expected. The food is always hot and fresh. They had plenty of shrimp and seafood. The fruit was delicious. The kids enjoyed their icecream cone. They have sushi as well. The restroom is accessible. The parking is tight but there are a couple handicap parking with a ramp towards the front door. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
The service is fine and well. The food isn't how I remembered it but it was still edible. The price is fair and I made one visit to the buffet, consumed my food choices, paid my tab and departed the location. They do also keep a clean environment for the safety of the patrons. However, it's never too much to be mindful of your own health and safety as well.
The food was great; fresh. The only thing I was concerned about; children serving themselves. A parent got upset with her child who served himself and in the moment dropped an egg role, but then picked it up off the floor only to place it back in the warmer. She asked him to pull it out, but he could not remember which egg roll it was and so who knows… The waitress was great and on top of serving us.
Last week, I came here and my daughter was crying hysterically (crying not related to Silver Palace). The manager was so kind to her! He made her a makeshift bird with a straw and some paper and she loved it. It's customer service like this, along with the amazing good, that keeps me coming back!
I ate too much but it great 👍 and I lost count of the number of ice cream cones 🤣🤣🤣
Went to this Chinese buffet as a kid and visited again for old times sake. Food and restaurant appearance are exactly the same! Not as much variety as a lot of buffets in the area, but what they do have tastes better. Their seafood, chicken, and soup options are awesome. This is my first time returning to a buffet since the pandemic and you can tell the staff care about their store cleanliness and service.
