They only take cash at this location it's near U OF H but in the hood. No problems anytime I've gone in drive thru. The chicken is great but the beans and rice sucked. I didn't eat that. Next time I will get the greens or something.

My brother and I brought our parents there for their birthdays. My father has not had Frenchy's in years. He was pleased with his chicken and collard greens. He even bought a whole sweet potato pie. I would recommend this place if you want some great chicken!
Fried chicken well seasoned as well as fries which were crispy outside tender inside. Nice soupy beans and rice. Would have ordered more food but the pay system did not support my pay method. It is strictly ‘no cash’ operation. Must have credit or debit card. Other electronic pay options availa
I love Frenchy's. Been a customer since 1998. Honestly, its the best fried chicken in Houston and so much better than any of the chains. I always get the campus meal with 3 thighs, cornbread, and greens. Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful people and great customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Great fried chicken!!! We got 12 pieces dark with 2 sides and cornbread. Red beans and rice was seasoned well but could have had a bit more salt. Same with greens. Drive thru was pretty slow but service was great when we finally were at window. They were really busy so its understandable. It
You can’t miss with frenchies chicken. Great food. Service is good as expected when you’re getting phenomenal fried chicken. Nothing amazing about the atmosphere but the establishment was clean and that’s all that ever truly matters.

I had the 3 piece chicken tenders meal with fries. The tenders were very flavorful. The fries were crispy. The roll was soft and buttery. Everything was fresh.
Always great food!!! Drive thru like moves extremely slow but it's worth the wait. I order white meat so chicken is always hot and fresh. Best Frenchys in Houston area
No Frenchy's beats the original Frenchy's and nobody beats the original Frenchy's. The chicken is great as is no need for sauces or toppings. Great cornbread as is no need for heat or butter. This place is worth the trip no matter where you are in the city.
