Best Ramen in Houston thus far and I like the unassuming atmosphere. Noodles are amazing and made fresh in-house (never frozen/shipped). Japanese owned and even their kitchen equipment was shipped from Japan. Having visited Japan, we were really craving the more authentic ramen. We really enjoyed the Dry Hakata Noodles as an appetizer. The Manager was so friendly and gave us the backstory on all the broths. There is a broth for all taste buds--such as the 400 year-old tried and true Shoyu or the "new world" pork-based Tonkotsu. Give this place a try and ask for recommendations if you are overwhelmed by the menu! I learned today that they won awards in Seattle before opening shop in Houston!

Absolutely awesome food. Most of the servers were beyond amazing. Highly recommend. Must get the egg add in. Noodles are handmade and it shows. Broth was not spicy despite the color and the flavor is one to experience! Must go! Food is 5 star worthy!

I have a serious addiction to this place. I love the spicy ramen and the place is so cozy. I like that it's not a big chain so when I do eat there I know that I'm supporting a small group directly. Eat here and be happy you stopped by.

Outstanding restaurant. My son and I never knew about these places and decided to give it a shot. Not knowing anything, we were given recommendations and informed of types of dishes. They have earned 2 new customers.

The best vegetarian ramen around. The broth wasn't too salty. A wonderful meal. I can't wait to try other veggie options and their regular ramens. Looking forward to trying their gyoza and other appetizers. Excellent and friendly customer service. They make all their own noodles in house! I will be returning.

I recently savored the best ramen experience at Samurai Noodle, where Andrew's exceptional service stood out. Despite being the only person working, he remained calm, informative, and incredibly helpful. Andrew offered insightful feedback on the menu, enhancing my dining experience. I'm eager to return soon, as the perfect blend of delectable ramen and Andrew's top-notch service makes Samurai Noodle a must-visit spot.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered the tonkotsu with seasoned eggs and a green tea. Very flavorful broth and pork belly. The kikurage wasn't as soft as I would like but still good. Will be returning šŸ‘

Small little ramen place with homemade noodles. Staff is excellent and attentive. Food is delicious and piping hot. Best ramen during my short tenure in Houston.

This is a true little gem. A very pleasant surprise to discover this place. The shrimp dumplings are perfection and could easily become addictive. Both the Vegan Ramen and the Pork Belly Ramen were delicious and packed with flavors. This is one of the better Ramens we've enjoyed in Houston in a long time. We will definitely return! Oh, and really friendly service too!

First time going. Went on a Tuesday for lunch, got sat immediately. If you are looking for fresh made noodles, this is your place! This place withholds alot of passion in their food. They are really trying to do it right and their dedication to make their food fresh really sets them apart from other places. Location: in a shopping center area with a shared parking lot. We were able to find parking pretty easily. Found restaurant by gps. Atmosphere: pretty small on the inside with a max capacity of 49 people. All tables, no booths. They can push Tables together for a larger group. Smelled good. Appeared clean. You can also see them making the noodles from the seating area. Service: Very friendly and personable. They approached us to ask how everything was and offered us an awesome tasting experience on the house! It was my nieces first time to the area & she was dreaming of fresh noodles & they 110% delivered! Food: dumplings, rice bowls, ramen, and more! We all ordered ramen- mushroom, tampopo shouyu, and shouyu tonkotsu and we all really enjoyed it. The marinated eggs were absolutely delicious in the ramen. The noodles were perfect and the broth flavorful. I do wish they had a drink station instead of bottled drinks.

I like it didnā€™t love it. Ramen was good, only one piece of pork tho, noodle were very good unless you get the gluten free ones ( kinda sucked), the broth was normal, didnā€™t upload a picture of them but the dumplings were not all that, very low flavour but the presentation was okay. I would definitely recommend tho.

Top quality ramen, in-house made ingredients with Japanese recognized chef recipes, incredible tasty šŸ˜‹. Outstanding service and their japanese imported beer selection is the best I have seen. Great place to enjoy with friends.

One of the good ramen places in Houston. Went here around dinner time, it was busy but we could get a table within 10-15 mins. The service is good and they make sure that they explain their menu to you. Their broths are wholesome, delicious and well made. We tried the spicy miso tonkotsu and the tonkotsu ramen, you can reply the protein and they do have a lot of additional toppings. Definitely recommend Samurai noodle for a good meal.

Rich tasty broth and house made noodles. Their specialty is the egg. It takes 4 days to make them and they turned out like jelly with the inside yolk runny. Their dumplings are fried into a butterfly style to have a nice crunch at the bottom but soft and perfectly cooked as a whole. They also have fresh sugar cane and Thai tea/coffee. Service was excellent as well.

Wonderful ramen soup! I had the spicy garlic bowl with a chicken and pork broth mix. I added in an egg and it was delicious! The other photo is of steamed shrimp dumplings. Those were really good too. Also, I had never been to one of these restaurants and the manager explained everything to us, what each of the ingredients were (because it was not in English or translated) and made recommendations. I can't wait to return and I would definitely recommend anyone trying it to go for the spicy garlic dish. Breakdown 1-5 with 5 being the best. Taste: 4 - the soup was rich in flavor with the chicken and pork broth mixed. It was a deep and almost creamy flavor. The stir fry bean sprouts were really good and everything was balanced. Two areas in which they could improve would be to reduce the saltiness (slightly) of the dish and the shredded chicken in the dish was overcooked. Service: 5 - small seating area and our server (the manager) was attentive without being overly present. Speed: 5 - the appetizer came about 6 minutes after ordering and the main entrees came out about 5 minutes after ordering. Accuracy: 5 - everything came as ordered. Price to Value: 4 - huge portion of soup for $13 a portion and the appetizer was $5. (Rounding costs)

Service was very nice. We got a hakata tonkotsu (picture) and miso tonkotsu. We both added a marinated egg. The hakata was rich but pretty salty. The miso tobkotsu had more depth of flavor. I'm not expert but I tend to always get tonkotsu when I go to ramen places and this one was good but unsure if I would come again for it. But their menu is one of the more diverse ramen menus so worth coming back to try other dishes!

Houston's somewhat "hidden" gem, totally underrated compared to the other places in town. Come for a good bowl of ramen, you won't leave disappointed. The tonkotsu base is flavorful, but not so overwhelming that it leaves you with a feeling that you just ate a bowl of oil. The shoyu base is very well balanced, flavorful and light at the same time. They also have one of the best takoyaki in town. Compliments to the chef and owner, Thomas. *chef's kiss*

Cool little spot with some great Ramen. I ordered takeout because I have kids, but it seemed like a nice place to sit at with some friends. Sakurajima tonkotsu ramen was excellent but I will go simpler next time as I think they will have great broth to make any dish good. This dish was pricy but the rest looked very well priced. I only wish there was an all white meat chicken option. Everything has so much flavor that it does not need the dark meat

We came here on a weekday and it wasn't busy. We had pork gyoza, miso shoyu and miso tonkotsu. The pan fried gyoza was fluffy with crispy parts around it and was really good. Both ramens were good, and my miso tonkostu tasted like the kind I had growing up. I didn't taste strong tonkotsu flavor but I really liked miso flavor. The guy who helped us was friendly and attentive. I was a little skeptical about this place being authentic because Japanese restaurants' names with silly Japanese words make me so, but I was wrong. We're glad we found another favorite ramen place.

Amazing food! I have a Japanese roommate who lived in Japan until he was 13. First place we have been where they were able to cook the noodles correctly. The hard boi eggs are great as well. Highly recommend.

This was my first time at this place. I love it! The place remind me some of the local ramen places that I found randomly in small alleys in Japan. It is like the hidden gem. The flavor are so umami. The ramen, the sides are so thoughtful and perfect. This is one of the best ramen places in USA!

Solid ramen at a fair price. Not a large location, but enough room. Quick and courteous service. We got the Pork broth ramen, some edamame, and gyoza. They have a decent Asian beer selection as well.

Food was great, well priced and the service was amazing. I didnā€™t catch our waiter name but she was a young lady, very enthusiastic and was running the floor by herself and still gave such a great service.
