This place was pretty good. The margarita was good and the queso with ground beef was delicious.

My husband and I came here. Our server was it very attentive, but the food was excellent. The red salsa is good, but the green salsa was better. I had shredded chicken and sour cream enchiladas, the fat man sliced steak with a enchilada. We ordered deep fried ice cream, but it was just a scoop covered in frosted flakes. That was a bit disappointing, so I opted not to have any. But according to the fat man the Fried stuff at the bottom was pretty tasty. I would definitely come here again because all of the food tasted very good and authentic.

So glad I celebrated a special occasion here. The interior and decorations were outstanding and really add to the experience. The food is consistently amazing and has a strong reputation because of it. Would return and recommend to friends and family due to its uniqueness, affordability and quality. 🌮

Excellent all around. Great ambiance in a beautiful restaurant they had a live mariachi band. The salsas are on point spicy and tasty. Food portions are sizeable and the staff is so fast getting the food out hot and ready to eat. The food is pretty good. We had two enchilada dinners and the #1 combo dinner. We had a little space for dessert and chose the sopapillas we were NOT disappointed! Amazing amazing sopapillas! Parking is nice and big and the bathrooms are super clean. Great restaurant and a wonderful hidden gem in the Heights neighborhood. Our dinner was only $40 with dessert can't beat it!

My first time here every thing was excellent ! Starting with the decorations on the restaurant was beautiful it felt like San Antonio but in Houston , food was very tasty lots of flavor “authentic” server very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu ,very friendly restaurant very clean, I highly recommend this place restaurant 👍I will be returning soon

The interior design is very cute. I ordered the chicken and beef fajita which was okay not the best I had. The service had always been very attentive when I visited. Everyone from host to wait staff are very friendly.

Great atmosphere and good food. Friendly staff!! Last visit I jokingly told the waiter I was cold and could he get me a sweater. Well, to my surprise, he did just that!! I'll definitely be back!🙂

Such a cool spot, the inside literally transports you somewhere else. Felt like I was in Mexico or Spain. The staff were kind, and if you're hoping to brush up on your Spanish, you will definitely get the opportunity. I loved this spot. My food was delicious, get the queso with the fajita meat. This place is an experience, so come in ready to relax and take it in.

This place is great. The atmosphere is so festive. The service was awesome, from the friendly waiter to the non-stop refills. They staff was always paying attention to the customers. The food was amazing. Can't believe I had not seen this place sooner.

Incredibly underrated Mexican restaurant in the inner loop. I came here for my partner's birthday with a group of 7 people and we all had nothing shy of a phenomenal experience here. First, the food is incredible. Their tortillas are the best I've had in Houston. I tried a bunch of my friends' dishes and they were phenomenal. Second, the customer service was great. Our waiter was so incredibly friendly, and they even sang for my partner after I told him it was his birthday. Third, their prices are unmatched for the food quality and vibrant atmosphere. I struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that was both under $20/entree and had a nice ambiance for my partner's birthday, but this place did the trick. I had a great time here and I will most definitely be back!

I went on a Saturday morning for breakfast.
1st time visiting La Hacienda and was not disappointed. Starting with the atmosphere and the choices on the menu are all favorites. The quality of the are awsome and at a great price.

Excellent mexican restaurant! Ordered enchiladas, tacos, and tamales. Delicious, fresh, and arrived quickly once our order was placed. Went to another mexican restaurant before and was really salty, but La Hacienda was not salty at all. Perfect taste! Once we entered, we were warmly greeted by servers and staff. Plus, the decoration and ambience of the restaurant is amazing! Highly recommend! One of the best mexican restaurants we’ve been to.

I wanted to find a solid Tex-Mex place on the Heights area and am so happy to have found this place. Their margaritas are jumbo sized. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Their chips and salsa, which is usually a good litmus test for a good Tex Mex restaurant, were tasty and addictive. I loved the barbacoa especially. It feels like you are in the middle of a Mexican market. I'll definitely be returning.
