Great atmosphere (especially in how smartly they've utilized the small venue)! Knowledgable and super friendly staff. I've tried almost half the signature cocktail list and haven't been disappointed yet! Thoughtful, well balanced cocktails. Haven't tried as much of the food menu, but what I did have ranged from fresh to fried, all of it munch-worthy. Definitely a must visit in the heights and all of Houston!!!

Great vibe, perfect neighborhood bar with creative craft cocktails and great bartenders. Terry sets a great example for his fellow ‘tenders and they rock it out with the same immaculate service whether it’s busy or slow. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The food is phenomenal, the service is lacking however. Takes a while to get condiments, salt, etc. But we'll definitely be back because everything is so delicious!

The drinks at A+ and the service is fantastic. Their food is salty but satisfying and always interesting. Love this neighborhood joint!

Spot on food and cocktails! Love the design as well! It's so historically Houston! Can't wait to watch it blossom.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and a spectacular atmosphere. Had a local friend take me to one of their favorite restaurants, I can tell why now. The burger was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly. Onion rings were crisp and had just the right amount of breading. What can you say about grilled cheese but yum? Everything was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning and served promptly and hot.

My husband and I love to go around Houston trying different bars and restaurants. This is by far our favorite place that we keep coming back to. The happy hour is the best in Houston by far so make sure to drop by Monday - Friday from 2-5. They also have an amazing brunch, my husband loves their continental breakfast cocktail and makes sure to order it every time. Their burger is to die for and is the best I have had anywhere, their drinks are top notch, and this continues to be one of our favorite Houston haunts. I’d also like to mention that their service is top tier. We always feel welcome and taken care of each time we come by. Thank you for your amazing service! I always recommend this place highly to friends and family!

The atmosphere of this place is wonderful and the cocktails are fairly priced and excellent. Despite being a group of six, our wait for a table was very quick and our server was nice. We enjoyed the food, especially the fries which came with good sauce. Some of our favorite cocktails were Intelle, Accident Count, and Train Your Granny. They also offer great weekday deals, including pasta on Tuesdays. Although the Party Melt was a bit salty, overall it was delicious. I definitely plan on returning.

We really liked this bar! All seating is first come first serve - nice bar and outside patio (handy if with a dog). Baristas can mix good cocktails too! People with good vibes! Gonna try the food Next time

The meatball small plate, the crudo, okra marsala, honey chicken sandwich, and salmon steak frites were all very delicious! As for drinks, we got one of the cocktails that had oolong gin and the spicy creamy avocado margarita and they both were also delicious! Highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch, but they also have different menu for the weekday.

Very cool spot to come have a few drinks. There is quite a bit of parking on the property on the side and around the back. We had a few margaritas that were great. The spicy margarita was really good and actually had a bit of a kick to it. They do have some food but this time we only had some French fries which were hot and crispy. The prices are reasonable as well. You can sit anywhere you like but you have to order at the bar. When your drinks are ready they'll yell out your name from the bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a few TV's. We actually watched part of an Astros game here and the TVs were in view from most seats. Put this place on your list of bars to visit!

I have a new favorite salad: the Green Goddess with grilled chicken. Crazy good. I also liked the brussel sprouts. The drinks were gorgeously presented.

I'm officially in love with this place. I took myself to a brunch date and not only was I greeted with super friendly staff.. the food came out fast and exceeded my expectations. Pork steak and eggs.. amazing and I got two double yolks (I don't even mind if it was on purpose or I was lucky it just made my day!) And the drinks! I had the long story short, small aromatic cocktail with a kick - lovely and the sillyngapore sling - absolutely delicious and refreshing. The inside and patio are cute and we had perfect weather today so it made everything that much better.

Great place for happy hour or dinner. Great mocktail options for those who don’t drink. They switch the menu up up during the week so there’s always something different when I go.

Good patio spot with decent drinks and apps. The service was a bit infrequent and slow so had to wait for more drink orders a bit long.

I love this place because it’s consistently great food, great drinks, great service, and has a dog friendly patio. It’s well known that the bars on Yale St. have a heavy pour and their cocktails are always on point, but not everywhere is dog friendly. My fave meal here is the Party Melt, a fun take on the patty melt with the crust cut off the bread, the bread grilled with mustard on the outside of the sandwich, a juicy ground beef patty smothered with cheese, grilled onions, and a sauce made from ketchup and mayo. We also got the Hot Dog Sandwich with crusts cut off the bread and hot dogs covered in grilled red onions and Dijon mustard. The hot dogs were grilled a little too long. The French fries were crispy and hot, but could use a little less salt. I love my fries salty, but my wife and I were both brushing off salt to eat them. I got my two favorite drinks, Long Story Short — a gin based cocktail with passion fruit and a slice of dehydrated lemon, and a Cold Fashioned — a typical old fashioned, but with piloncillo for sweetness, orange peel, and served in a Tom Collins glass with ice. They were perfect for a sunny, but breezy fall day in Houston. I’ve always sat on the patio or under the awning outside, so I can’t speak to what it’s like inside but there’s a full bar inside and tables you can sit at. The bathrooms are clean with two individual room stalls and they have a QR menu or you can Google it. Better Luck Tomorrow is one of those Houston places that stays on your list of permanent faves.

This place is known for their cocktails. I was impressed all the way around. The bartender working that night is a wow, she runs like a diesel engine, never slowing or breaking stride o matter how many orders are coming in. The drink prices are really pretty good. I have been around the corner at a few places and average 30 bucks more per visit for roughly the same drinks. This is a place to check out.

Everything we had just tasted better and better! The hamburgers truly melt in your mouth!! We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were extremely nice!! However, the outside tables would be great to sit on a nice day, loads of plants for a lively background.

Interesting selection of cocktails. I went with a traditional margarita and the guava margarita. I really wanted to try the smoked jalapeno margarita but it they were sold out. The Guava was a sweet refreshing alternative. We shared the fajitas, only 3 tortillas came with the fish so plan on ordering more if you're sharing. The queso is standard queso but whatever pepita oil they add really kicks the flavor up. Inside is small and loud. Outside is like hanging out in your back yard. Lucky that we are in walking distance but there is plenty of parking.

The fries were great, and come with good sauce. The Party Melt was delicious but a little salty.
