OMG this is the best place to eat in Ramadan! I came from Boston to visit my sister in Houston she took me to brunch buffet before Ramadan and for Iftar dinner buffet in Ramadan, the best experience ever! The food is really goooood, the Owner is a gentleman very caring, friendly and respectful. The staff very very kind and the place is very neat and clean. You will feel eating in down town Istanbul. Also they have a place to pray which made my day just complete.
Thank you Nazif you are one more reason why I should move from Boston to Houston
Nazif Restaurant is the hidden treasure of Houston, its the only place where you can experience true Turkish dining with Turkish staff, Turkish music (Turkish live music as well) and amazing Turkish cuisine. Owner himself, Nazif, experienced chef and a cook, he chooses, prepares ingredients carefully to deliver best Turkish food possible. The taste matches 100% to authentic Turkish food since he uses same materials and traditional methods to prepare them. Turkish staff speaks both English and Turkish well, they're always working with a smile in their face. Some Fridays and Saturdays you can enjoy Turkish live music, and sometimes you can see some famous Turkish names on the stage.. Enjoying Byob with a minimal corking fee on weekends makes the entire experience even more attractive! .. been here many times, I will comfortably recommend this place to anyone .
This place best one you spend the money and time with, food the made it’s the best one, try it you well not forget it.
This place was excellent and the food was fresh the service was great The people were friendly and if you go you have to try the Turkish tea it's very good
Sunday breakfast/ brunch was great! Also nice Turkish food choices in the menu.

Great food, great service, amazing coffee, equals repeat customer 🙌🏽
Decided to try Nazifs today and I couldn't be more pleased with my selection. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated, and the pricing and portions were satisfactory. The kunefe was the best I've ever had! I would highly recommend you try Nazifs for some quality Mediterranean/Turkish food!
Wow, amazing meal! Been meaning to go for awhile, wish I had gone sooner!
Thanks for the great recommendations from the staff!
I will definitely be back!
Nazifs was an amazing Halal Turkish spot that I somehow never heard of. I recently traveled to Turkey and the food at this restaurant was much better than some of the places in the actual country. I ordered the Wrapmachun which I assume isn’t a traditional dish but it’s basically a Lamachun (ground beef on flatbread) that is wrapped around a kebab, I chose the Adana which was spicier. I also got the Lamachun spicy because I love spicy. We also got a couple of mixed meat platters that included some vegetables and rice. The lamb chops from the platter had a slightly too big fat cap but it was perfect and gave the full original lamb flavor to the best quality. The wrapmachun I ate was just perfect, it wasn’t dry or tough but it was juicy, tender and had the perfect level of spiciness and it was absolutely delicious and paired well with the garlic sauce. All their lamb dishes are very well done providing an original lamb flavor with little to no spice as intended. All the meat was very tender, soft, and juicy. The presentation of the dishes were also beautifully executed. Pleasing to the eye and the tongue. The service and staff was also very nice and the waiters were very friendly and made sure we were accommodated to the best of their ability. The ambience of this restaurant is also very nice, they had a plant wall on the front glass wall and TVs displaying Turkish landscapes along with cozy light fixtures and slightly dimmed lights. The single downside is the wait time for the food to arrive. Personally I feel like the quality of food should match the time I have to wait and I got just that here. I did have to wait for about 15-20 minutes for the food but it was very well worth it. Other than, perfect 5 star place.
The food was excellent! I had the Kebab mix, and it was cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. Chef Nazif showed incredible performance of cooking and presenting beef ribs, it was so delicious and juicy. Live music brought special atmosphere to the very special night.
I was craving some middle eastern, Mediterranean food, thanks to my ex who got me hooked.
Anyways I looked up the reviews for this place! The hummus and labnah was just what I needed.
I also had Lebanese pizza for the first time! The bread was absolutely scrumptious and fluffy too
Looking for an unforgettable dining destination? Look no further than this enchanting restaurant that has truly captured our hearts! From the warm and welcoming hosts to the delectable dishes that leave your taste buds dancing, every moment spent here is a delightful journey.
Authentic Turkish food in houston! Excellent food and high level of hospitality. Chef Nazif is always on top of the quality of the food here. Highly recommended
It is one of the most unique and cleanest restaurant in Houston . I loved the food, services and the atmosphere. Everything is convenient and fresh. Sunday brunch. Is amazing really feels like you are in Istanbul..
we tried an open buffet in Ramadan Iftar ,and it was such an amazing opportunity. to enjoy the original Mediterranean test .
There are too many dishes that I really highly recommend Mixed Appetizer Platter, Adana , lahmacun ,Mixed Grill ( all meats varieties 😋in one plate with salad and crispy French fries )and all kind of Pide .Their Meat is so tender and fresh . The chef keeps tracking all orders and the feedback with the costumer. They have tasteful
dessert menu Rice pudding which is like homemade style 😋, kunefe so fresh that was made as soon as we order it and kadayıf pudding which pulled me back to go there again and again 😋😋 🌹 . We appreciate your hardworking which we can feel it in your yummy food.
I, as a customer came to this restraunt. I wanted to try Turkish food for while. When I came the staff were welcoming, supportive, and helpful. When I ordered the food, with four other people it came around 15-17 minutes. The food was indescribable delicious, that I even ordered again. Clean, tasty, cultured Turkish food. The meatball sub, beyti, lahmahcun, and pida are all SO good. One of the specials he makes in Saturday, is cig cofte, I am not exaggerating but it is better than Turkish cig kofte in Turkey. It was so good!! The prices are perfect for a perfect meal! The owner is so kind, he comes and greets his customers and asking them if they need anything, that is if he is present at the restraunt, what’s even better is he treats kids with kindness and gives them chocolates. I also went in valentine and he gave me a flower and to every women that was in restraunt, it was so kind of him. If others told me what the best restraunt in Houston, then I would definitely recommend them Nazif’s.
The vibes, the food, the service were fantastic. Yusr is my favorite. She and the other lady make you feel like you’re at home (literally). The food is phenomenal, but what really took it over the top was dessert. The knafeh is honestly some of the best I have ever had.
Just was not my thing. I like to try different foods because you never know what you may or may not like if you never get out of your comfort zone.
Tonight's dinner. Doner kebab with bulgur, lettuce, red cabbage, and chopped onions. Mixed appetizer platter ezme, eggplant salad, cacik, and muhummara with pita bread.
This was a little different from kebabs wrapped in pita bread that I have had in the past.
We have been to Nazif’s 3 or 4 times and every time we have enjoy the aromas and tastes of Turkey. Sundays brunch is the best in town for Kaymak (milky butter) Ciger (Lamb Liver) and othe Turkish delicacies…. Aisha is the head of waitresses. Look for her! She will explain in great detail what dishes are and will suggest the best selection of flavors! Cozy atmosphere and true Turkish cuisine!
I love this place. Very welcoming. Great service & Great food.
I had the Turkish Sausage Pida & Baklava.
The food was very tasty 😋. The staff was friendly but kept Turkish standard 😁 hospitality. They offered free Turkish tea. The prices are relatively high but worth it.
Great food. Fast service. Nice and quiet. I love this place.
The food portions are great, one plate was enough for two meals. Server was nice she brought pita for us on the house
We haven't tried all of the meals in the menu, but among the ones we tried, the hamburger was different. It was one of the best hamburgers I ever had.
In my opinion, this is the best Turkish restaurant in Houston.
Excellent restaurant, with tasty turkish, mediterranean dishes. The künefe was excellent.
