Don't let the word "buffet" fool you. This is, hands down, the best Indian/Pakistani food in town. In addition to amazing food, the service was bar none. We had a great attentive waiter and very very friendly owner. My wife and I will become regulars!

So it was my first Time in Mezbaan restaurant, as i have heard a lot about this Resturant specially for the catering reason hut still never went their before, cus my husband had not so good experience before.. we went for iftaari today. And experience was too too good, every thing was fresh, and served hot.. my most favorite thing I would say, 98% things was really good good in taste other 2% either I didn’t tried or I don’t really eat them or i was full, had tried Chinese gray with spaghetti i really like it.. tried soup corn soup was very delicious and fresh, mutton karahai , haleem , kheer, everything was so tasty i really really enjoyed my. Iftaar, it was more than my expectations in Houston but you guys are the best iftaari so far i would say in flavor in quantity of items, in freshness of food, service, everything we have thoroughly Enjoyed !!!!
suggestion: I wanted to mentioned that i am not really impressed by the environment, because the way you guys arrange your food in events or even in your Resturant which is really good you guys should consider some interior decoration in your restaurant,
Love the food and the welcoming staff member there name Yonery Castellanos she was so nice to show me around the place and told me how they have banquet and also buffet too! Again this will be my A1 Indian restaurant in Houston and the price are so reasonable, food over there are always adjusting to new menu items and always fresh plus self service and free Indian tortillas!!And also if you go to Gyro King, this is the best place to stretch your dollars! #myperceptionhaschange #A1

I used Mezban catering for my wedding and the food was amazing!! Not to mention the staff was professional and guests were happy. I highly recommend Mezban for your events! They take pride in what they do.

Best food ever the place is small but pretty well decorated well thought. The food talks for it self just go there and eat it's amazing! I'm already a fan of the type of food but if you're a first timer I'm sure you will love it.
Great buffet and very friendly openers and staff. The rolls created by Asher are a must! Delish!
Butter chicken, spinach curry, eggplant in yogurt, mixed pickles (a must) and kheer, for dessert. Comes with fresh Nan! So very good and clean. Great service!

I recently enjoyed dining at this delightful restaurant in the heart of Houston, offering an incredible Indian and Pakistani buffet experience. Despite the bustling crowd, the abundance of food truly impressed me. The restaurant managed to maintain an impressive variety, ensuring there was always something new to try.
We got the Beef nihari, chicken koyla karahi, and chicken biryani Everything was super good. Authentic Pakistani taste. Prices are very cheap compared to other Houston restaurants. Must try this restaurant. Hidden gem. Sorry we forgot the photos of Nihari and karahi. Nan is also very good.
If you're in the mood for an abundance of Indian food for a pretty decent price, I'd say check out this buffet. It gives you a wide range of all sorts of Indian foods and all the naan your heart desires.Chicken sandwiches tasted have a Indian twist on it. Some of the things I enjoyed here is Paya, Chicken Tikka, Chicken 65, Haleem, Mutton Biriyani and much more 😋 I only got to try half the buffet since Indian food is so filling. I've brought up my ratings since their consistency is there. Within just this year I've been here 4 times. And majority of the food is spot and and they are bringing new foods. I would recommend one tries their snack bar as well. Definitely make yourself a few Pani Puri -it's fresh! If you have no idea what that is do yourself a favor and google how to make it before you come here.
Ie. You can skip the butter chicken -dry and meh. Good amount of options if you're vegan!!

The buffet is excellent and offers a great variety, especially on the weekend.
The food is prepared fresh and clean, you can see the kitchen and a restaurant that shows you the "behind the scenes" is definitely one you can trust. Freshly baked naan is available for each table.
The weekday buffet is around $14 per person, and the weekend buffet is about $19 per person. More variety is available during the weekend.
Please note that they do not allow you to take leftovers home, but they offer boxes to go if you don't eat there - $12.99 per pound—a little hefty but worth it.
Free parking is available outside.
Mezban is my family's favorite Indian/Pakistan buffet. We've been visiting for years! Each time we go,
there are many options, vegetarian as well, and they change things up every now and then as well. The desserts are always different and delicious. Naan comes fresh to the table. Employees are always lovely and welcoming. I would love to see an update on the building itself, but can appreciate the absolute cleanliness and comfort/coziness of Mezban's hole-in-the-wall ambience. Prices are more than fair, $17 for weekday adult buffet. We always go on Thursdays or Fridays. Please give this place a chance. You won't regret it!

Okay, let’s talk about my most favorite South Asian restaurant in Houston; no worries, it’s Mezban!!! Let me tell you why I love this place! Before going to the food menu, I would say the environment of the restaurant is just mind blowing. There is desi ambiance in the restaurant. The staffs there are very friendly and always there to help you, either for choosing which one to eat or just clean out the table during buffet. I used to work in a restaurant and I know how much the staffs’ smile matters to the customers! The staffs here are felt very jolly minded and I felt good being there!!!
Okay now the food! Their appetizer section is very rich! From salads to chaats and pani puri- everything tastes good. As I love spicy chutneys, they also have options for that! The kabobs, tandooris, haleem, nihari everything tastes so good and juicy!!! I loved the special goat pulao there and it’s just wow! Last but not the least, the desserts. After a long period of time, I felt like I am eating the kheer my mom used to make!!! Whenever I am feeling homesick I come here. They have the masala milk tea which is made just how I like.
Now the price! The price for weekend dinner is very expensive ($20/person). But the brunch and lunch time price is okay based on the prices of South Indian restaurants around ($15.99/ person on weekend brunch, lunch).
I highly recommend this restaurant! But go go there as early as possible!!! Lunch time is preferably the best!
Came in at about 12ish (an hour after they open) on a Saturday afternoon. They had good non-veg options but wouldn't recommend as much for a vegetarian. They brought out the samosas towards the tail end of our meal. Honestly, the food was pretty good except for the mutton biryani which lacked flavor. I would like to come back here again next time to try out some other items. A little pricey just because it is the weekend. For a weekday lunch, I'd say it's definitely worth it!
I love the very calm setting they have here. When I walked in i didn’t know it was a buffet, but I’m glad it is because I get to taste all the dishes and they’re all so good! I will be returning! Wait staff did a great job and was very sweet💗
Mezban is a hidden gem. It's a Pakistani and Indian halal buffet. They offer fresh naan with your meal and it is the best naan in Houston. The food is great, the naan is delicious. I've been going for years and will continue to be a patron.
I have been going to Mezban for years now, it’s always been good and one of my go to places for Pakistani buffet. Recently, the management changed and the experience of dining here has been better than ever. Fresh food, cleaner appearance & the weekend buffet is the best. The staff is wonderful & polite; highly recommended.

Really delicious 😋 indian Pakistani buffet. Everything was good quality. The owner was funny and keep on asking if we want naan refills.
This was my first visit in the restaurant and already became my one of favorite place for next visit. Well organized siting arrangements, clean and maintained. Good service and freshly baked naan bread which is great 👍.
Well! Now comes to food. So food was really good as far as tried few options from curry 🍛 to rice and snacks. Haleem, tawa fish and few items were very good in flavor, but Goat Korma was not Korma at all it was kind of curry so kindly do consider and check next time “ my request for the owner/manager. I would really like to see lamb option in future other then that great experience.

I visited this place a day after I visited Dimassis, so I was disappointed by the lack of diversity in the food. This place is not for Americans wanting to try something different. it's for Asians who know the food. The fresh Naan and chicken tikka were great. Also, it's not a kids-friendly restaurant
This was my first visit. The restaurant was uber clean, the restrooms were nice and clean also. They provided plastic gloves to customers and the cashier/ server was "VERY" attentive to everyone. Oh and did I mention the food? Fantastic and seasoned to perfection. I believe it's a pakistani/ indian type menu. My family and friends loved your restaurant....we will be back for more. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon lunch!
Just to start I am a foodie and am picky with quality and service. I live in the Tanglewood neighborhood north of westheimer so I️ am familiar with the options around as they are close by.
This is by far the best buffet in the area I️ found quality and flavor wise. Price for dinner on a Saturday was $12.99. It included Salad bar which was fresh too, Soups & Appetizers, and your biryani, quormas, and grill items. Also included soft drinks and chai.
I found the place clean and well staffed with polite and presentable staff. Good decor too. This is not to say other places are not, I’m just talking about this establishment specifically.
I️ would return and I would say the highlight was the staff and management who I think can take this place far. Just need more advertising as I️ just found this place by mistake. Good food and good service!
