This was my first time here and I was so impressed. The BEAUTIFUL croissants and pastries- wow! The employees were very nice and accommodating. We had a bigger group so we found our way back to the other part of the restaurant where there was way more seating. I imagine it gets pretty busy in the evening - it looks like such a cool place. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area!

It was my first time trying this place & I have to say, I loved every minute here. The service was great, fast and everyone was super friendly. On top of that was the food! I ordered the Bacon and Egg sandwich, the Iced Matcha Latte, the Oreo croissant, and the Almond Croissant as well. Everything was so delicious! Will definitely be visiting more often!

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Houston from now on! The service is super friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern - place feels new and decorated with taste of style. Perfect brunch Ambiente. And the food won in all categories. Their filled croissants are known to be a specialty and they are worth it - not too sweet! We had the peach one. Tacos are delicious and (Mamita and El Hefe) and the sandwich is too notch - fresh brioche bun and ingredients. Benchmark brunch visit for sure!

The blackberry lavender drink, adorned with beautiful flowers, adds a touch of elegance to the dining experience, and its taste is simply amazing. This is an amazing breakfast/brunch place to grab delicious sandwiches, great coffee, and unique lemonades! We ordered the Hangover Sandwich that had eggs, chicken, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco, cilantro and avocado ranch. The individual flavors were robust and delicious but we felt that they did not blend that well together as each flavor was pretty strong, making it a suitably named hangover cure. Additionally, we got the Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich that has mixed greens and chipotle aioli. While this was a more simple sandwich, it epitomized the perfect egg breakfast sandhwich as the flavors harmonize well and the chipotle aioli was delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon was crunchy and savory, the chipotle aoli gave a little smoky, tangy, and creamy edge, and the mixed greens were a nice cool backdrop for all the flavors to combine. The buns were also buttery, toasty, fluffy, and firm enough to soak up and hold all the components. To complement the food, we got a vanilla latte. It was too milky and sweet for our taste. I suggest trying one of the lemonades instead! Overall the vibe at Egghaus Gourmet is really cute and fun! There are a lot of people on the weekends, so I suggest going early to get a spot inside! However, there are always tables outside to sit if you arrive a bit late, and it is pet friendly. Please go check it out!!

I don't really eat breakfast much, something about it always makes me feel ill. However, after eating at this place, my opinion has changed drastically. I ordered the pretzel bread grilled cheese with scrambled egg, and it was amazing. The sandwich had not only a creamy almost a sweet flavor, but also it had a tang. The bacon gave it a crisp which only added on to it. Also, because of this sandwich, I now know I thoroughly enjoy pretzel bread. They also offer a variety of croissants, which are amazing. I personally the chocolate one, which surprisingly wasn't too sweet. They also offer different teas, the blueberry iced tea will probably be my go to. The only real issue I faced was the seating, but then again that's will probably be fixed when this business grows, and I fully believe that it will. If you want a fun breakfast, stop by egghaus 🙏🏽

The sandwich was ok, the croissant and coffee was good. The cashier was not so friendly I would say. I don't think I'll be coming back here again or any other egghaus locations. It's a one time visit for me.

I went on valentine’s day and the food was great and delicious! I can’t remember the names of what I got, but the picture might help haha. The tacos were filling and the drinks were delicious and pretty to look at. Also, they were giving free rose croissant’s and I’m glad they did because my bf ordered more. I will definitely select something else next time to try out the menu.

Highly recommend! I got the hangover sandwich. I could not finish it so I took it home but what I ate was delicious. It’s got a lot of chicken and along with the egg and vegetables makes it a very hearty and protein rich meal. Be careful eating it though because if I didn’t have a napkin placed as a bib on my shirt I would have spilled all the sauce on my shirt LOL. Next time I wanna try the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I also drank the Nutella iced coffee along with the hangover sandwich which I would definitely drink again. Unfortunately you can’t ask for a non dairy version of the Nutella iced coffee but it was worth it anyway. I also tried the lavender matcha latte which tasted purple! I want to try the blueberry lemonade next time. The chocolate gold croissant was so yummy and satisfying as dessert. I can’t wait to come back!!!

All the hype here are the gourmet egg sandwiches and dipped croissants ! I was blown away by the quality of the food. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of fresh-baked bread and sizzling eggs filled the air, whetting my appetite. The menu was simple, but packed with a variety of mouth-watering options. I opted for the classic egg and cheese sandwich, which was made with a fluffy croissant and a perfectly cooked egg that oozed with creamy cheese and more . The sandwich was expertly seasoned and had just the right amount of saltiness to it, making it one of the best egg sandwiches I've had in a long time. Our flavored lattes were ridiculously delicious as well . Note that if you download the app you can get a free latte on your visit in the rewards app. But the true star of the show was the dipped croissant. This was no ordinary croissant - it was baked to perfection and then dipped in your flavor of choice I chose the rose croissant & my sister had the banana creme filled we were in heaven ! The sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and savory, and complemented the croissant perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating options to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch experience. The gourmet egg sandwiches and dipped croissants are not to be missed, and the quality of the food and service make it well worth the visit.

i actually came twice in one weekend — 3 years ago i had their drunken chicken kolache & haven’t stopped thinking about it since. they unfortunately were sold out both times i went! egghaus offers a good variety and interior is comfortable and welcoming! love that there is extra seating at king’s bierhaus. although the croissants are gorgeous, taste wise they’re too sweet for me. the breakfast sandwiches are hearty, and have a lot of sauce towards the bottom. 5 starts for the food still because of the kolache i still dream about

Just in case you don’t want to read my entire review- this is what you need to know: I approve them for good tasting and quality food, and amazing customer service!! My sister found this spot while we were visiting Houston. The pics and reviews looked great so I was game for checking it out. It is located in a plaza which has decent parking spots. When we arrived there was a short line, but the wait was worth it. They operate where you place your order at the counter, you are given a buzzer that will vibrate when your order is ready. When it was finally our turn I have to give kudos to the cashier. She had an amazing personality and was eager to offer suggestions when I asked her for some! When I told her I did not eat red meat she had several options for me. I opted to go with the Mamita taco ( Roasted Chicken, grilled onions, grape tomatoes, cilantro, queso fresco, Avocado ranch.) They also sell a variety of croissants. They were so beautiful that I had to give one a try. The cashier recommended the banana pudding flavor so that is the one I went with. The last item in my order was the lavender matcha latte with almond milk! Note: if you join their loyalty club while waiting in line you can score a free latte!! My sister and I opted to dine outside. The croissants and drinks were ready first and the food orders were up shortly there after. Let’s get to the food! When I tell you that I enjoyed every bite and sip of everything I ordered! The taco had amazing flavor and the tortilla had a fresh taste. the croissant was soft, and flaky with plenty of flavor. I tried both the rose and the banana pudding! They each tasted exactly like you would expect based on the name of them. My matcha was not too sweet- which I love. It had a hint of lavender taste— PERFECTION! I loved EVERYTHING about this restaurant. Their motto is Breakfast Reimagined. They pride themselves on offering high quality breakfast that is fast and portable. The commitment to quality is rooted in the following: preservative-free breads, cage-free eggs, non-GMO tortillas, house-made jams and salsas, and sustainable and responsibly sourced coffee)! You are guaranteed to indulge in dishes with quality ingredients that also taste good! If provided an opportunity to check this restaurant out, please do! I hope to see them franchise and open in my home city of Atlanta, GA! ( just putting it in the atmosphere)!

A fun place to grab breakfast or brunch. Expect to be served creative and fun takes on croissants that will be visually pleasing as well as totally Instagram worthy. The taco and burger options are uniquely different. We tried the hangover sandwich and steak sandwich. Well presented, literally loaded and dripping with deliciousness. A real treat! Fantastic flavors. The lemonade also delights with a fun variation of offered flavors, beautifully presented. A lot of thought has gone into executing a beautiful interior for dinners to enjoy. Colorful, vibrant with a relaxing organic vibe. Lot's of outdoor seating to enjoy when the weather is nice. No problems finding a parking, which is often challenging in the Heights!

Oh my! This is the most darling little breakfast spot around. We took my 9 yr old daughter and 10 friends here for a birthday "brunch" and it was so delightful. The staff was so patient, the food offerings diverse, creative and delicious! They had a perfect outdoor spot where the party girls could enjoy the beautiful weather and mini park/waterfall. They really loved the specialty lemonades, said they were so "fancy!" Thanks for making my little girl's birthday wish a reality.

Great place to get a quick and easy breakfast on the weekends. It is always pretty busy but the line moves fast. Also you can order take out online. Lots of items on the menu so there is something for everyone. The sandwiches were good but I would prefer some more basic options without the sauce and other things. 4 stars instead of 5 because the prices are pretty high for what it is. Still very delicious and I would certainly recommend this to anyone. I was very surprised how good the tacos were, to be honest. I wish I took more pictures but everyone dug in too fast!

An easy going place to grab breakfast! We ordered delivery and it was perfect for what we needed. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was excellent. It had good flavor and was filling. The chocolate croissant was delicious as well and they had a few other fun options to choose from. Overall, I’d come back to eat here.

One of my favorite brunch spots in Houston! They have phenomenal croissants. Highly recommend catching all the rotating special flavors they have. My favorite savory item is the Scramble egg sandwich which I get it everytime I visit.
