The BEST sushi restaurant in Houston. They have the best and fastest service. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. You can’t beat their service or their prices with happy hour all day Saturday! Andres is the best server and always makes sure we are taken care of!
This place is wonderful in terms of keeping it classy and efficient with their time, and their waiters are amazing. If that doesn't win you over, the great decor and food will. Have you been to a restaurant where everything you've tried so far has yet to have an issue? I am getting that vibe with this place. Love going here but sometimes I love just getting food and staying in. This was my first time ordering pick up from them outside their awesome happy hour. I did not except what I received! I received so much food! I ordered a tray thinking it would be like normal places.. kinda skimpy, but NO! They hooked it up!! Plus salad and soup!! And for the price!! I was such a happy girl!! Annnnddd it was ready in less than 10 mins!! You literally cannot beat this place!! Especially when things are so tough right now with inflation. I really appreciate everything they are doing and keeping us able to afford the luxuries in life. Keep doing what you are doing!!
Coworker and I visited on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the experience after a ten minute wait. We sampled some sashimi from the happy hour menu, jumbo shrimp gyoza, and chicken teriyaki. Each was prepared and presented well. One hiccup with ordering was quickly corrected, service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Took off one star for atmosphere because the restaurant is too loud for normal conversation, admittedly a common complaint of mine. Small restaurant, party size of four or less is a good idea.
Visited tonight for the first time with my wife and we had a great time. The food here is really fresh, the prices are really fair, and the service was great!
We've been to other sushi places but this may be our new favorite spot. We will definitely be back!
I have been going back to this sushi place since I first discovered it. And I have to say that this place is phenomenal. Great service. The servers always make you feel welcome and the service is incredibly fast. The food is delicious and beautiful.
My favorite place. I came because it’s just close by walking distance. I keep coming because it’s amazing. Best food, best service. Eduardo is the most wonderful server I have ever had at any restaurant. Everything i have tried has been amazing, I can’t specify on dishes, anything you get, you will be pleased. I’ll be back tomorrow!
Small quaint seating area, server was attentive and awesome! Happy hour menu is fire! Took my son after his basketball tournament and had enough food leftover for both of us the next day only spent 50 dollars
Loved everything about this place! Havent had good sushi in forever ago! The fish is fresh and of great quality. The chef prepared something off the menu and made it just like the original! The sashimi melted in my mouth and the rolls were perfectly made. My waiter was attentive and easy to talk to. Will definitely be coming back

I always have a lunch here because I have only one hour break and it’s near my work place. They prepare and cook food very fast even if they have a lot of customer. And the food is very fresh and delicious. Nice customer service and nice environment too.

Update: One of the first stop since we came back from France, just couldn’t help it. One of the nicest staffs in the whole wide world. Hands down one of the best sushi places I’ve had!!
Really great spot! Food was great for the most part. Got two appetizers and plenty of sushi for about $25.00.
The appetizers were the Kani Salad and Salmon skin seaweed salad. The Kani salad tasted very fresh and the Masago adds a hint of crunching. The salmon skin seaweed salad was crunchy with chewy seaweed. The sauce was tangy and delicious.
The sushi was great! Costed about $1.50 to $1.75 per piece. Fish was fresh and came in decent size. The squid was chewy with a hint of sweetness. The salmon and white tuna were fatty in a good way. Only complaint is that rice felt a bit clumped and mushy. Could work on getting better rice texture.
Service was great! Waiters came regularly to make sure we were doing alrite. Restaurant is a bit small, but comfortable enough to be able to enjoy.
Come during happy hour for best deals!
I came back to this place after a three year gap - the fact that they survived COVID says already a lot. The staff recognized me (I have to admit I was a regular), their sushis are as fresh and tasty as ever.

Awesome happy hour 🐟 🍤 This place is awesome Matsu Sushi Bar Houston Texas off of Eldridge Parkway Sushi sashimi noodles cooked meals all kind of different foods and fusions raw fish cooked fish sushi rolls tempura shrimp salmon eel Maki masago sea bass sea urchin salmon smoked salmon tuna spicy tuna grouper tofu tamago egg you name it this place has it all great food great Atmosphere great price great service say no more wish they had a tempura jalapeno roll named after me. # thepittsburghroll lol. it's awesome we went there had to wait a few minutes to get in but that tells you that the food is great we got there we were greeted very quickly seen it quickly after that the food was awesome the amount of food that I got for $55 for me and my wife is astronomical biggest bang for your buck I can see hands down for sushi Houston TEXAS OMG FRESH N DELICIOUS A MUST TRY in the city of Houston off eldridge pkwy I would recommend this place for anybody that loves sushi but wants a good fair price instead of paying $100 a person you're looking at more like 25 a person and you can eat as much as you can possibly handle. It's one of our favorite sushi restaurants for a weeknight dinner. We hot here just before the busy time. Service was quick and the food was fantastic! We're still trying to figure out how to order the rolls since the Happy Hour menu does not have a description of the items.
