I am not from Houston (or even Texas) but was with my husband visiting his family there. We took his mom to the dentist and I went looking for somewhere close for food. I found this pizza place with awesome reviews so we had to try it out. It was so good and I will recommend it to his family there! We ordered curly fries for an appetizer, a pizza with extra pepperoni on it and a calzone. They were very friendly and quick with amazing quality of food.
Everytime my family and I walk in, we are greeted by the owner with open arms. Friendly service, and very quick with excellent food. I absolutely love the strombolis. I highly recommend this place a million times. 5 stars isn't enough for me.
It is really hard to find good pizza in this area. Too many chain pizza places turning out mediocre products. I grew up in North Eastern PA with lots of great family owned pizza spots. I found Tony's New York Pizza several years ago and he has the best pizza I have had in the Houston area. Many varieties of great NY style pizzas at reasonable prices. Great weekly specials. His meat ball sub's can easily feed two people. Wonderful Calzones. He blows the competition out of the water.
Finally found a PIZZA worth eating, thin crust, chewy edge, great sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Great flavor! I also ate the buffalo wings, delicious! Crispy, spicy, tangy goodness! We will definitely be making a 2 hour trip to enjoy this delicious meal again.

This is the first time trying Pizza at Tony's New York Pizza. The service is great! The Pizza is Phenomenal! The atmosphere is friendly. We loved it so much, we're coming back! We ordered the 28 inch Supreme Pizza along with some tossed house salads. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good. Our pizza was hot and tasted great! We also ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookies. They were baked fresh and smelled so good. I definitely recommend coming to this pizza place. They also have a variety of items in the menu to fulfill your taste buds. If you're around the area, come by and try it for yourself. You won't regret it! Five Stars!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everything about this location is great. The staff here are super friendly and helpful on choosing the right pizza size. Definitely coming back. The pizza is great as well. It’s identical to NY pizza.

Great little pizza place that serves by the slice. Prices were fair ($2.50ish a slice), service was quick, food was fresh. Hopefully they get their air hockey table back up and running soon but my son still had a fun time learning foosball. Will be back again
We were in the area and stopped by this place and it was well worth it! The pizza was priced so well for a huge slice! My husband got a Philly cheese steak sub and it was amazing! Highly recommend!
My favorite pizza shop in Houston. As someone who grew up in the New England area I can say without a doubt say this is the mose authentic NY style pizza in the area. The family that works here is super friendly and the pizza is great. Do your self a favor and stop by for a slice or a pie.
This is the best pizza in Houston. The prices are great, the service is excellent and it’s just a great family owned business. My son goes to the Martial Arts school next door and we occasionally stop by here to grab some food. The quality of the pizza is amazing, the garlic knots are delicious and I wouldn’t order from anywhere else.
Trust me when I say the slice is the move here. The way they re heat it up to get that extra crisp on it is perfect. Best slice I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and just show up and see what they got on display and pick and choose slices. Good deal on cheese slices on Tuesday. Cookies are real good too.
I can’t believe I have waited so long to review this place. That’s on me, because their food is delicious! This is the only pizza my picky child will eat and we have been coming here for the last 10 years. One thing about Tony’s New York Pizza is how consistent their food is. The toppings are always fresh, the sauce amazing and the crust is perfect. The staff is always professional and friendly. Look no further - this is the best pizza in town!
The pizza is amazingly good. The oven they use makes the crust crispy and it gives a good flavor. The wings are soo good and so was the Greek salad

Lots of places think they have New York style pizza - and they don't, but this place does! This is the first place outside of New York I've ever found that has true New York style pizza. They even serve it by the slice the way they do in New York. After I asked, I found out the owners are indeed from New York. Bonus! I live an hour away and will be back to this place at least once a week. Their small pizza is the same size as a large pizza at any of the chain restaurants, and it's about the same price too. Their sizes range from 14in to 24in, and they're very generous with the toppings. I also ordered wings and they actually have meat on them! The staff is also very friendly. Very highly recommended pizza joint!
They make you feel at home and let them help you with ordering if you don't know what to order, like me. Chicken Paremsan and my guest had Chicken Alfredo come with cheese garlic bread. There sauces are so so good. We are coming next week to try the specials / lunch special .
This place was a welcome surprise! I had missed out as long as I had because of a misconception thinking the pictures of the somewhat pale pizzas behind the counter were the final product. In reality, they finish those slices in the oven to perfection, and they absolutely did not disappoint. The spinach white with dollops of ricotta was outstanding, the crust was thin and crisp, the buffet had great variety and value, and the thick chocolate chip cookies were excellent! I'm just sorry I didn't try it sooner. I will be sure to return!
A hole-in-the-wall and a real hidden gem. Prices are an absolute steal when considering the care, love, and attention that they put in there. For example, their chocolate chip cookie ($1.75, I believe?) was huge and had two types of chocolate in there (chocolate chips and chopped chocolate). I didn't pay as much attention to the pep slice I had but it was hot, juicy, and delicious.
Best pizza I've ever had. They are like family. I come here with my coworkers and they always have my favorite pizza available for me. I recommend this place. You won't find a better pizza place in Houston than Tony's pizzeria on Jones.
I have been going to Tony's for about 5 years now and I have to say they are pretty good. They have huge pizza slices and a good selection to choose from. They have a lunch buffet and some good chocolate chip cookies. I will say that a couple of times I've been for lunch the slices were a little too greasy and that they have changed the buffet to a pizza and salad. It used to be everything which at the time was great. I wish they would go back to that. Overall it's a must try. Bring the old buffet back.
