Cafe Mawal - Houston - Photo album

Quaint lowkey atmosphere with hookah and light bites to full meals. The mint tea was delicious. Our server was very kind, patient, & helpful. They don’t serve alcohol so keep that in mind. Parking is $10. They’re just missing some good music!
Never been here before and my sister suggested this place for lunch. The place is pretty huge with plenty of seating, there was no one there at the time of lunch so that was nice. Food came out fast and everything tasted pretty good to me. Only thing is that the inside was a bit too hot for the wea
There was barely anyone there on a Saturday but we still had pretty slow service. The hookah was great, pretty strong. The spicy fries were interesting, I ate them all lol. Don’t think I’d try them again, though
We had a great night here!! Everyone from the valet parking attendants to the servers, the manager, the hookah and the coal service was outstanding!! We were here on a Saturday night and arrived a little before 8 PM the place was just starting to fill up. They have an option of outdoor seating, tab
A great place to enjoy authentic Arabic atmosphere and dishes.also if you like to smoke hookah they have a lot of variety in flavors I was not a big fan of their hookah it made me dizzy and that's very rare for me. Food taste is not too sure for but it looks good. The atmosphere is the winner for thi
Nice place well organized seating, food was not authentic Middle eastern but it was okay. Customer service was superb.
It’s the whole package - the loud Arabic /Asian music, belly dancing and energized crowd at times joining in on the dance floor and good food & hookah. No alcohol but nice selection of smoothies especially mint green lemonade and Mawal Special is a great entree. Once the show starts servers would be
This was our first time exploring this place. The atmosphere is pretty cool and laid back. I provided 4 stars instead of 5 because most of the seating is outside with covering BUT none of the NUMEROUS heaters they had out, were working...at least that's what we were told when we told the host it was
The atmosphere was pleasant, visited for the first time. Service and cuisine were both excellent, and for hookah coal is always being changed like the service. Best place for weekend vibes if people like to have hookah. They can add some freshly squeezed juices in the menu, recommended place for we
The atmosphere there is really nice with outdoor seating and large fans. I ordered beef shawrma, which tastes good but small portions. We also ordered the mawal plate, the chicken was good, but the beef a bit strong. I didn't like the parking though. I would go again with friends.
Came from Virginia and totally impressed with the food quality. Try buffalo wings and kebab platters. Would highly recommend Service is extraordinary
