This is by far some of the best Indian food in Houston. Everytime we come here, we leave full and satisfied! The shopping strip that it is in is ugly and underused, but don't let that scare you away. This place is a hidden gem.
Best indian food in Houston hands down....fresh food with great service
I love this place I live in The Heights, so I have only been for lunch. The staff is fantastic. In my top three for Indian.
A good gourmet Indian restaurant with great service and amazing desserts!!!
The chicken masala was explicit. I was satisfied with the food an variety. The quantity and quality was great for the price n definitely going back again.
Nice ambience, affordable, I loved Kashmiri nan , Malai kofta & Paneer makhani. Enough quantity, service was very good. Above all free of cost starter on arrival ( papad with khatti & meethi chutney).
1st time visit & the experience is one we could repeat. Tasty food, pleasant decor & welcomed service. We shared 1 item from the menu & it was enough for the 2 of us!
Terrific! The exterior hides a real gem. Great food!
Very good Indian food! The quality of ingredients is beyond satisfactory and the details of presentation as well as service is superb. Will come back again!
Great staff and the owner was super nice. Came to celebrate my fathers birthday and we all loved it!!
Unreal food! Delicious and Mouth Watering ... specially the Butter Chicken and Naan, Sheekh Kebabs ... and Vindaloos ...
Best Indian food in town. Come and try their daily lunch buffet.
The food was excellent!! Definitely recommend it!
My fav. Place to eat indian food!!!
Nice and cozy little spot that serves some great and delicious food. Very flavorful and not too spicy but yet perfectly seasoned. My husband and I enjoyed every bite.
Went with a group for brunch today, and the food did not disappoint. The lunch buffet had great curry chicken, my favorite and chicken tikka. The naan paired great with all the other dishes they had out. My favorite dessert had to be the mango custard 😭 just absolutely yummy
Buffet seemed small to me(but thats okay),there were plenty of new things for me to try. Originally the raw onions/jalapeños didn't have a utensil to self serve. I will be trying again some time later date to try the samosas with the tamarind or mint sauce.
With Indian food being filling, considering rice, Naan, and samosa,i wouldnt recommend this buffet unless you are trying for first time to try different items. Infact the whole gorging yourself at a buffet expectation isn't really met here, yes you can get full easily but tapping out after 2 plates max left me unsatisfied in the mental aspect of what pigging out at a buffet should feel like.
Altough this is the first Indian buffet I try, I felt that the quality of most of the food could be improved(considering the $16 cost, and small buffet size) aswell with the freshness. But in particular the chicken tikka masala, tasted the least fresh and was the item with the least quality, the chicken of the chicken tikka masala was dry and tasted a little too old.
The two desserts were super delicious, my wife loved the fluffy airy rice pudding and the flan/custard tasting thing.
Excellent food and super attentive service. You must try their chicken tikka masala and garlic naan!
Let me start off by saying that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston! I usually don't write reviews but I HAD to write one. The Eggplant Bartha is one of my favorites, as well as the Paneer tikka Masala. Paneer refers to Indian cottage cheese that is made fresh at the restaurant. Both dishes are absolutely great. The eggplant is served in the buffet that is from 11-3PM everyday. In my opinion, the buffet is completely worth it given the food smells and IS fresh everyday. This is my third time here but I will continue to come back every week. Very clean, fresh, and zen atmosphere.
Great lunch buffet served till 2:30 except Tuesday’s I believe, buttery naan served with it as well. Everything on the buffet is delicious and fresh. The fruits are fresh and sweet too
The mango smoothie was super refreshing and they serve some dessert ice cream I am curious to try. But on the buffet they had a mango custard that was so good 😋
Great service with a smile and will be back again soon
GOURMET INDIA!!!! The name of this restaurant says it all. Tucked away in this quiet little mall area off of Westheimer and hwy 6 is this near fine dining restaurant. The interior features a relaxing and formal setting with formal cloths and table settings and calming music to set the mood. The service is friendly and professional. We were seated quickly and our beverages brought to our table within a few minutes. We inspected the 20 plus item buffet and decided upon that. Each item had its unique indian cuisine presentation and flavor. Mmmm....my mouth is still watering! The fresh soft tortilla type bread was AMAZING and I dipped it in almost ech dish I sampled. The $13 lunch buffet was inexpensive for what you can eat. You just have to experience this place.
This is Houston’s hidden gem! Great food and great people! You will not regret it!! It really does live up to the name!
Probably the best tasting Indian place in Houston to my liking. Don’t be fooled by the not so glamorous exterior. The food is amazing. The chicken and lamb were perfectly cooked. Great service as well. My wife, who is a vegetarian, enjoyed it as well. This will be my go to place in the area. By the way, the naan was delicious!!
Lunch buffet so terrific! Plenty of meat choices and also plenty of vegetarian/vegan dishes. Fresh fluffy warm flat breads straight to your table. My favorites were the crispy Onion Pakora, and don't forget the Aldo Baingan with wonderful spices, eggplant and potatoes!
Very tasty, home made food and clean place, huge parking. I can't expect people who consider themselves very high profile and have expensive houses and expensive cars to find free food around them. If these people do not like the food of a place, then why do they like to eat there again and again. I think they do not know the definition of food and the value of food and the cost of food. A spoonful of leftover food in dinner is also asked for a box to go with take out. My request is that the guest going to any restaurant should respect the resturant. Because restaurants are there to serve the community. The community should respect every business. If you don't like it personally then avoid that place but don't bully or discriminate anyone with your bad comments. Hope you understand it well. Blogger HK
Great customer service! Friendly staff! The buffet is now open and has a very nice selection of non veg and veg dishes! Also, the best was enjoying the sizzling grill! 10/10
Good buffet selection. Everything is hot, tastes fresh, and fills you up really well.
Definitely underrated spot here if you’re looking for a good local Indian restaurant in the westheimer/hw6 area. Good price too!

Best saag paneer (spinach dish) ever! The creamiest....the butteriest....
But they tried to charge us DOUBLE SALES TAX when we used a Groupon coupon! Amount to be charged thru groupon was $24 for 2 buffets & 2 drinks. We didn't get drinks but that's our fault. Anyway $24 plus tax is $25.98. But they charged us $25.98 PLUS TAX on the $25.98, or plus $2.xx...like $2.15.
No. Wrong. The total WITH TAX was roughly $26....not $28. He got manager on phone who, from what I could understand, was saying they had to charge sales tax on the full amount before any coupon. Wrong. I know the TEXAS sales tax law, and in this state, a business can only legally charge sales tax on the actual amount you're paying.
So if you have 2 meals at $10 each & have a bogofree coupon, you the customer pays sales tax on $10, not $20.
And in this case, even I were WRONG, like if we lived in another state with a different sales tax law, the extra amount of sales tax would b less than $2.15

Great Indian food buffet. Very tasty, "medium hot" selection of meat dishes as well as vegetarian dishes available for the lunch buffet. 3 choices of desserts were also included in the buffet. The staff was attentive, friendly and quick. Highly recommended.
