Absolutely love the space the decor , atmosphere is great. The service outstanding, every single employee in this establishment was exceptional. The food was superb . The cocktails are amazing . The grouper was amazing, I’m usually not a fan of grouper which I find to be a dense dry fish, however the flavors the fish was cooked to perfection . Best grouper I’ve ever had, a masterpiece. Tasted even better the next day.

This is my new favorite restaurant! The food was phenomenal, and the staff was so nice! We ordered the sourdough bread, carrots, duck wings, pork steak, Santa Maria Steak, cheesecake and gelato and YUM! They made the carrots, duck wings and steak gluten free for me, as well as the gelato being gluten free. The flavors are so on point! The drinks were as beautiful as they were delicious! We ordered the gin and tonic, which came in a very cool glass and the rise and shine. Also we had our 21 month old daughter with us and she was in a bit of a crazy mood, but everyone was extremely nice to her. They didn’t just tolerate her, but seemed to genuinely love interacting with her, which made the anxiety of dining with a hyper toddler a little less. We will definitely back! (However we may leave the crazy toddler at home : )

Can’t think of a single thing I would want to change. Our brunch was delicious and the servers, Cassandra and Zack, provided exceptional service. We had a carafe of Blood Orange Mimosa and a “Death in the Afternoon” a delectable mix of champagne, absinthe and lemon oleo. Apps included Popcorn Shrimp and Cinnamon Zephyrs (think beignets with cinnamon/sugar and caramel honey sauce). Entrees included Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast and Hot Honey Chicken. Sooooo tasty! Definitely on our brunch spot favorites list now. Oh! And best of all… no wait! Loved this place. ❤️

This place is always great, from drinks to dessert they don't disappoint. The skillet cornbread is delicious with creme Fraiche and seasonal fruit that changes every few months. The grilled Caesar salad (not pictured) is truly amazing with a crispness and smokiness to the salad that's really different. The devils on horseback are perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the date and the saltiness and smokiness of the bacon. The pecan crusted fish balanced out nicely with the braininess of the capers. Lastly, the campfire sundae shouldn't be missed. It came with apple pie and pumpkin spice ice cream with grilled marshmallows, caramel, and crumbled graham crackers. The service is amazing here and they're attentive without being suffocating. Indianola is a standby for good food and good service!

We got to our hotel late and were looking for some quality late night food and boy did we luck out with Indianola! It's a chic little place where you can sit at a booth or the chef's pass. There were lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options as well as meat dishes. The menu has lots of seasonal flavors. We both got the Gracias Adios cocktail which has gin, lime, and basil. It was such a refreshing cocktail on a hot night in July. The presentation and taste were magnificent! I ordered the Hoja Santa Wrapped Grouper and the flavors were out of this world. It came with grilled avocado, tomatoes, pickled vegetables and salsa. My boyfriend got the Wood Grilled Chicken and said it was the juiciest chicken he's ever had. It came with fresh herbs and potatoes roasted in duck fat. It was unbelievable to get such great service and food past 10 pm! We will definetly be returning!

Sat at the bar on a Sunday night and we got the most amazing treatment from the kitchen staff and our awesome server! The food was amazing all around, cocktails and mocktails phenomenal and tasty, and the dessert was also so unique and one of a kind. We got the beech mushroom toast, duck far potatoes, and the iron skillet cornbread starters to share, and I got the Mesquite tri tip for the main course with a mocktail that I can't remember them name of. All were very large portions and we were all too stuffed by the end of the meal.... Well almost too stuffed but we ended up getting a dessert (can't remember the name!) to share. I'm definitely adding this to my list of favorite places in Houston!

I had a great brunch experience. The pastry is awesome specially the biscuits. I had a Moroccan egg and was great. The service is on top of their game, always prompt to serve more mimosas. The most impressive was the kitchen service, we didn't wait at all for all our food to arrive just as we asked. The place got busy around noon but we got early and there was no waiting time. There are several parking spots around the block. Price was not bad at all for the quality of food and service.

I called in advance to inquire about whether or not they took walk-ins. The hostess was extremely helpful, friendly and informative. Reservations were full for Fri. night, but as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and seated immediately at the chef's bar. The food was SPECTACULAR and the view of the service was AMAZING. Why anyone would choose what appeared to be a quite stressful occupation is beyond me, but I'm so glad they did! Compliments to the chef and all his staff! Can't wait 'til my next visit!

Please support this restaurant. The food and service is top notch. We went on a Friday night and there were only a handful of tables. I enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu, the street corn, Texas Twinkies, and fish were perfectly cooked, spiced, and presented.

Tried for the first time and really enjoyed the ambiance, service, and food. I got a couple of small plates to share and each one was delicious. The watermelon salad was light and refreshing. The blue crab dish was full of crab and not only breading with great flavor. The shrimp with bacon was perfection, although one still has to peel the shell/tail, but the seasoning was great with a hint of spicy goodness. The crispy duck wings (more like a drum) but cooked nicely as it was tender with a hint of smoky flavor. The crispy potatoes were surprisingly delicious with the tomato sauce concoction that added a nice texture to the really crispy potatoes. The brown butter cake with the fig and honey gelato was really good. Not a fan of figs but the gelato was excellent. After the above small plates we didn't order an entree. Will definitely return.
