I have eaten at Nori many times, but I can honestly say that the new location and improved menu makes this a 5 star in my book. Excellent food and service! And from the moment I walked in the door, I felt comfortable and relaxed. On the main wall next to the entrance is a beautiful collection of teapots. Really nice touch.
I wish only one thing be changed:
The televisions were tuned to commentator shows instead of sports news channels, actual games or maybe a cartoon for the children since almost every table had at least two. While I'm trying to enjoy my excellent dining experience, I would like to temporarily shut off the chaos and destruction broadcast feeds to my mind.
New location is nice. Many sushi and.roll choices. All were very fresh.
Came here on a whim while driving through the area. I can’t say I’m very impressed, however the food wasn’t bad. This is good sushi. I will say, the customer service was on point though. Constantly refilling waters, checking in, and offering recommendations. If you’re in the area, you can’t go wrong. Will come again!
Everything was perfect. The new location is much better than the old location. The food, as always, amazes me. The service was also very friendly. 5 stars!!
Super meal. Tempura was perfect and sushi awesome. Very efficient service. Well done. Awesome!
Came in for a quick lunch.. they were packed at noon. Had the salmon lunch special that comes with miso soup, salad, tempura veggies, and your choice of rice (white, black, or fried rice). I originally got the Wasabi sauce on the side which I'm glad I did because it had very little flavor, tasted like corn starch which I guess is used to thicken the sauce. I asked for teriyaki sauce and it was much better to dip. Lots of food, I had leftovers to take home.
Delicious, fresh and affordable. Great little location. Very cozy and intimate. Tables are spread out and everything is covid friendly. Very nice server and offered to go drinks on our tea.
Wanted to grab sushi in the area and found this swanky spot. Very friendly staff. Great sushi taste. Excellent sake selection and they let me watch football! This place is chill. Great for a date spot
I enjoyed the hanging ornaments in the bar area. I thought that was creative and cute. The service is pretty dry. I didn't feel very welcomed but the food was pretty good. I liked the dumplings so much I went back and got more a few days later. All and all a pretty good place but not very friendly.
I moved a few years ago from Houston and recently moved back to find Nori still here. I came on a Saturday night and no wait, it was so nice and the staff greeted me right away. I ordered their Shrimp fried rice which is AMAZING, and you must try their Spartan roll it’s so good. The customer service is impeccable and I will be back!
They have the best fried rice I have ever tried.
Small pieces of sushi yes but the flavor is okay and the price isn't outrageous. The service was pretty fast. Its casual ambiance cement it as a 'lunch only' place. Their lunch menu contains all their best dishes and doesn't disappoint, though it doesn't impress either. The best thing about this place was the quality green tea they serve. I would certainly recommend a visit if you're on your break.
Stopped in for lunch with my nephew after a work out. Everything was delicious. I got the pork dumplings, and spicy tuna roll. He got the Houston Roll and Beef Udon Soup. They were out if a few things, but that's pretty much par for the course right now with supply chain issues.
Service was fast and polite. I've been a few times now and it is always worth the trip.
Sushi is pretty good better than myakos but it's not the best
