I come here on my break. They are always fast and nice. The 5$ menu is awesome. I asked for extra sauces and they gave them to me with no hesitation. Definitely recommend for lunch.
It's Taco Cabana, what else can I say? Is it the best, no. But breakfast is cheap and served fast. Really fast ! I ordered 72 breakfast tacos and they were served in less than 8 minutes. In a large bag with handles, For around $130.00. Best deal going.
Had to wait on an order at a nearby restaurant so when I saw that the drive-thru was open (and empty!), I ordered a veggie cabana bowl without the cheese or sour cream (I was politely asked about those two items). The drive thru cashier and cook were very nice and included sides (jalapeno and hot sauce), so no 'F ups' at the drive-thru whatsoever 😅. The attached photo shows how I enhanced the bowl with rotisserie chicken mixed w/salsa, cilantro, spinach and spices.
Thank you Taco Cabana for offering a veggie bowl for under $5 👏. The other restaurant lost out on a purchase - they did NOT inform me of their '$6 add on entree'; I ordered a to-go entree w/salad and breadsticks for $22 and change 🤔!
The bright side to this customer service experience was laya. She got everything right. From greeting me to making sure I was taken care of. My tacos were good and hot and delicious.. Thank you for being good @ what you do.
Not as quite busy and various as u remember Taco Cabana used to be, but it still makes pretty good breakfast tacos! Just wished the condiment section would be just ad plentiful as I remember it used to be before the pandemic!
We stop here often when shopping in the area. Friendly staff, good condiment options with a CLEAN condiment area. The dining area is usually clean to compared to some locations and I really enjoy when I'm able to done outside. The food is always delicious, hot and fresh and usually my order is right. When it was wrong once they fixed it right away with no problems.
I Was Craving Shredded Chicken Cabana Bowl, So This Was My Breakfast, Along W/ a Mango Rita. It Satisfied My Craving. Fresh and Hot and Seasoned Perfectly. Kudos to This Staff, Whom btw, Are Very Nice. Thx Melanie🤗The Experience Here on Main Street Was Perfect🫶🏾🙌🏾♥️
Cabana bowl was excellent. Service workers were polite and attentive got the order right. Sketchy neighborhood at night. Several customers, including one creepy one.
The food was good for the most part. I think they needed to changed to oil they fry the chips in. Other than that everything was good
I do like this Taco Cabana, but it’s not as fun as it used to be. I’m still happy to go to other Taco Cabana restaurants, but this one closes at 10, and doesn’t serve breakfast all day, unlike certain other Taco Cabana locations.
I really like their breakfast. That said, while I genuinely DO want Taco Cabana to expand to new locations, this is the only Taco Cabana that should honestly shut down in favor of a Dairy Queen. I would love for this to become a Dairy Queen, because I miss having Dairy Queen close to my house.
Taco Cabana still makes great food, though. It’s just that this should be a Dairy Queen, like I said.
I work near here and pass this place maybe 30 times a week.
We had just left the Houston Zoo lights and thought to get some food on the way home.
We wanted Mexican but real Mexican and didn't have time to sit down in a restaurant and eat.
The food was great, service was kind and swift and the pricing is more than fair.
I've already gone back 2x, after passing this place daily for 2 years while driving for work I'm now wondering why I waited so long to try it.
If you're hungry they won't disappoint!

Total came out to just under $30.
I ate some tacos and nachos the next day as well so it fed 2 people 2x for 30 bucks that's like 15 for each meal for 2 people.
Good tacos and chips. Walking inside smells like outhouses in the wood. I miss all free add-on for tacos.
