Enjoyed my first visit to Papa Yu today. Had the special peanut noodles with miso soup, jellyfish and cucumber with yellow radish. Rene and Ron are gracious owners and all the staff is very cordial. Can't wait to go have a HK Bubble Waffle and try the rest of the menu. Congratulations to this new business.

The atmosphere is very pleasant. Friendly welcoming service. The food was not only healthy but very delicious! You must try the dessert! A warm waffle cake rolled and filled with ice cream topped with an oreo cookie, whipped cream and chocolate covered sticks!!! We will definitely be going back.
Stopped in here by chance, and found a gem. They've got deliciously fresh food, and excellent customer service!

We did the fried pork Dumplings. Awesome and filled full with juicy pork. Chicken Wings were krispy perfection. Cali Roll was good. The diamond roll was great. (Shrimp and crab)

Whoa! What an amazing, hidden GEM 💎!!!! I had the beef ramen, a california roll and a watermelon slush. What a treat! Everything was so flavorful, fresh and just plain delicious 😋 I ate in my truck. 😊
First time, staff polite. This poke restaurant you give all the items you want in your bowl and you pay. They will prepare it. Shame you can not see the ingredients. The good you wait sit at your table. The Thai tea presentation is super cute and the dragon fruit guava tea it is very good and refreshing (recommended) . The bowl looks smaller than other location. The taste is very good. Small but delicious. I will come back to try the sushi and other drinks.
Great place to get your poke bowl fix. The service is friendly and the food is always fresh and tasty. I'd also recommend the pork katsu as well.
Tried a poke bowl and a simple roll with tempura shrimp. I was happy with the quality and very happy with the price. This is why it was a 5 star rating for me. Was it the best poke bowl I have ever had? No. However, it’s well above the average with a lot of choices and at a great price. I will be sure to be back every time I’m over he snagging some groceries at 99ranch.
The Dragon fruit green tea was refreshing! Not many veg options (although they do have one veggie roll) - got the dumplings with veggies and egg roll.
The tiger roll and Shrimp tempura roll were good - about 5 pieces a roll which makes it a great place to try out a variety of rolls, instead of having to order just 1 or 2.

We ordered the Papa Special Roll and created our own Poke bowl as well. The roll was phenomenal, flavors were immaculate and just absolutely delicious. The Poke bowl was also great, but the portions for each protein, topping, and sauce were relatively small so we thought the flavors didn’t pop out as well. However the service was amazing as all the staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout our experience.
My son and I LOVE this cafe!!! as shown in the pictures this is our consistent order for over the past year. It is very rare to find a poke place that offers the charcoal rice! They also offer all sorts of Chinese appetizers and dishes so it’s a wonderful combination of different foods. My son orders off the menu, avocado and cucumber with rice paper. we are going to be so sad when we move next month!
Food is the best in town. Owner very nice and their service is awesome. The bubble milk tea is tasty and the salmon in the poke bowl very fresh.... Will come back again to try more new dishes.
Food is bomb I live in Oklahoma and I wish they had a place like this back home. Came back to Houston and the first thing I said was I wanted to come here drinks noddles and sushi is so good. Mouth watering !
The burrito was yummy and mess free. The sauce was paired great with it. The lemonade was deliciously homemade. Sushi was great as well. They had sushi happy hour.
So happy we tried out this little place. Everything was so fresh and a great deal. Employees were all very friendly. I was happy to see they deliver at lunch to the high school. Now my son gets to enjoy their food too.
My teen and I stopped for a bite to eat so we wouldn't be hungry while shopping at 99 Ranch. I was pleasantly surprise by how delicious and relatively inexpensive it was for sushi. We had their special roll which was so good - explosion of flavors and the Houston roll. Will come again!
Pretty good sushi they have various roll options and poke bowls and ramen. Several lemonade flavor options, green tea, chai tea, boba and more. Shaggy roll is good definitely recommend 👌 crab puffs were warm and a nice texture
The place is as good as usual. The salted lemonade is my family's favorite drink. The family size is such a bonus. Go and check it out!
The food is fantastic! The Poke size is huge and I couldn't finish mine! They also served the complimentary miso soup and it tasted great too! This is the first place that I found serving Jelly fish and grapefruit yalkurt drink. The staff are very friendly and it's good restaurant for the whole family. My son loves their waffle egg with ice cream. They even have a koala changing table available for babies, how thoughtful are they!
I was very impressed for my first time. Literally 2 minutes after I placed my order online it was ready for pick up. The place is still new so the inside isn't organized yet and the staff is still learning.
Otherwise, the food was delicious! We both ordered the Triple bowl and were tempted to get some drinks as well. Will update review on drinks next time. In the meantime go try this place!
Really great, the food was very fresh! There are prearranged poke bowls on the menu. However, what I like is the ability to customize your bowl. You pick out your protein, base and toppings "Chipotle style". Very friendly and helpful staff! Great prices about $10 for a bowl. They had buy 2 drinks get one free after 7pm and they include free boba. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars only because they did not have any boba and unlike other poke places, there wasn't a noodle option for the base. But, an interesting charcoal activated rice was an option and I liked it.
Update: I am upgrading this to a 5 star because they have the best spicy ponzu sauce and I have been to other poke restaurants but I find myself keep going back to this spot. Been an additional 5-6 times since last review.
