I was in n charge of ordering the cake for my sweet sister and brother in laws baby sprinkle for my sweet 3rd niece that’s due next month. My sister wanted a beautiful classic cake and sent us a picture of what she wanted. I looked online and found Take the Cake and was happy to see it was close to my sisters home and amazing reviews. I sent a picture of exactly what we wanted and Take the Cake did the most amazing job! I can’t rave how great the service, cake, taste all was. Everyone at the sprinkle loved it and my sister didn’t even want to cut it because it was so beautiful. Thank you so much for such an amazing cake. Truly beautiful!
It was so important to me for our wedding to have a cake that not only looked beautiful, but taste amazing! All of our guests loved our wedding cake & were so impressed at how flavorful it was. Plus, the cake visually turned out PERFECT! They truly brought my Pinterest board to life!
My mom's 75th birthday cake was a hit! They didn't bat an eye when I asked for only 75% of the cake. We did take that 25% and turned it into a large take home piece.
The cake was so moist yet light. The perfect bite! The raspberry filling I loved and wish I had eliminated the icing in between the layers and gotten more raspberry.
The price was incredible for what they did for me. My mother loved the design and flavors, and everyone was raving about every aspect of the cake. The pictures don't do the cake justice.

Had such an amazing experience with Take the Cake. Service was great, Laura at the front was super helpful with all details of my daughters sweet 16 birthday cake and delivery was perfect. The cake was delicious! Many guests commented on how tasty it was.
Also the tiramisu here is scrumptious!
I have ordered multiple cakes from them. Their cakes are delicious. They are inexpensive compared to other bakeries. But you can tell when they are pressed for time. This is the second time I’ve picked up a cake that just wasn’t as neat as the others they’ve prepared. Today, I asked about having the printed label replaced and was told it was too late, however it looked like they had just put it on. In fact, I can clearly see a gap between the cake and the label. The top of the cake has smudges but I digress. The last time I had an issue with a cake and asked them to fix it they made it worst. They were clearly busy. But I was not the only customer that had an issue. I would have given them 5 stars because the cakes are good but I need them to be more consistent with the presentation. My sons cake I ordered last week was perfect. This cake, all I can do is smh.
First time trying this bakery & it was amazing! It wasn’t too sweet & tasted delicious.. I had to change my order last minute & they accommodated me. I drove 1hr to get to this bakery & it was well worth it. I WILL BE BACK ‼️ 10/10
I’ve ordered several cakes from here through the years, and while they are 40 mins away, the drive is always worth it! They always exceed my expectations and the employees are super kind and accommodating. The cake I ordered was EXACTLY like the picture I sent them and they were more than happy to make a custom size/shape for me! Their cakes are unbeatable and i’ll continue to order from here. We ordered a cake for my 25th birthday at the last minute and it is the most beautiful birthday cake I’ve ever had. It was absolutely stunning and exactly what I asked for. I wanted a drip cake with rose gold and macaroons and they did a fantastic job, I got so many compliments on it. Not only was it beautiful on the outside, the cake inside was delicious and fluffy. Will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.
Had the opportunity of trying this bakery for the first time and yes, they delivered! The size, taste, and details (Drum) were all beautifully made and my son loved it. My guest were all taking pictures and asking where I made it.

Overall the cake was fine… I ordered a strawberry cake for my daughters sweet 16. The strawberry cake was tasty and moist.
My only complaint was my cake was supposed to ready at 1 pm on Sat 10/15. I arrived about 1:20ish… was told it was ready and being boxed up…. Waited another 10 mins or so and then was told the gold flakes / decor was being added. I was already running behind as our party was scheduled to start at 3. I told the employee I would run home quickly to grab something and I’d be right back (since my cake was ready)… I returned right at 2. They brought my cake out, I glanced at it and took it and left (again I’m in a hurry).
Once I got to our destination and took the cake out the box, there wasn’t any good pearls, good sprinkles or any of the good decorations that I discussed when ordering the cake and paid for…. If you look at the pics, the cake is all white with the exception of my daughters name and the flowers…. So that was a let down…
But the cake itself was flavorful.
A 45 minutes to and from the shop is definitely worth it. I ordered a 12 inch chocolate truffle cake and I made some customized inquiries for writing my LO’s name and leaving a space for a paper topper. It came as perfect as it can be. I followed the instructions to got it out of the fridge 2 hours prior to serving and I had positive feedbacks from everyone who tried it. Thanks a lot for making my 2 years LO’s birthday a beautiful memory. Will absolutely keep ordering from them for any other occasion.
Honestly the cake was good but I was just so impressed how they were spot on with the cake design! My son loved it it was a my singing monsters design and he loved it so much! We showed them a picture and they really did it better than the pic I showed them! Thank you guys you really made a kid happy. And the price is NOT at all bad I was expecting way more but no it was a great price and yummy cake!
Cake here is amazing, the filling for the cakes makes it 10 times better. I don't like filling in cakes but they filling are amazing. Raspberry and lemon are the best keep up the great work I'll be back.
Stopped in for a bad day at work treat. Got the family a 6 pack of cupcakes. Place was clean and staff was very nice. Cupcakes were $4 a piece and absolutely delicious. Frosting was buttercream which melted in my mouth. New favorite location.
The first picture I sent Take The Cake and the other 3 is what they made. Perfection! The cake was exactly what we wanted and tasted just as good. Great service and communication.
I had a pleasant experience with this shop for the first time. Their cake prices were reasonable and a good size. They had a good variety of flavors to choose from as well. The person took my order over the phone and the process was easy. I ordered a Chocolate Truffle cake for a birthday party and the cake came out delicious! It was not too sweet and very moist. All my friends were raving about the cake as well.
