The salsa verde was amazing. I got the sampler platter.. wasn't as big as I was expecting, still delicious either way. The beef quesadillas were super yummy 😋

The fish tacos were delicious and well-served. They were topped with shredded, chipotle sauced cabbage and chunky pico de gallo. The table top green salsa was the perfect topper to the tacos.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the rice and charro beans, though.
The fresh lemonade, however, was really good.

I've known of Taqueria Arandas over fifteen years. I fell head over heels with the barbaqua torta, and now I know I can also get my favorite soup from here, caldo de res, that's it !! I've pegged Arandas as my place for good, tasty Mexican food. Now, if I can only stop ordering these two dishes, I c
No complaints here! They do the basics here extremely well. 👍 One of the things I miss about not living in Houston, is not having Taquerias Arandas close by anymore.
I went there today specifically for the sauce and I was disappointed. It tasted bad and the lady said the taste varies from day to day. No something was off on the green sauce ingredients. Everything else was spectacular. Can't beat 3.99 magaritas!
