This was my first time going to Tampico Seafood & Cocina Mexicana #2 and I enjoyed the food and the service. Despite the fact that we came in right before they were about to close, the staff treated us well. They gave us time to eat and did not rush us even though we did not leave until 30 minutes after they closed. When I am in Houston, I won't hesitate to stop by there again and enjoy a good meal with great service.
Shrimp wrapped in bacon what else do I need to say. Really nice staff I always try to get here when in town.
Lunch special tilapia is always hot and fresh. Service is outstanding and extremely friendly.

Exelente comida , los meseros siempre atentos y amables. Lo que me impressino fue una señora de edad muy amable que se nos hacerco a la mesa y nos pregunto si todo estaba bien. Le pregunte a la mesera que quien era y me dijo k la dueña! Que bella manera de atender al cliente. Muchas gracias!
My whole family of 8 came here to celebrate my sister on Sunday and we were a mess but our waitress (I wish I had gotten her name) was AMAZING! She was ON IT, very attentive, very sweet and always checking on us. The orders came out fast and all of the food was delicious! We had no complaints, we all enjoyed our family time. ! Definitely recommend.

The seafood platters are a very good value and the shrimp, fish, etc , are excellent
The meat/chicken parrillada didn't impress because both the chicken and the beef were on the dry side.
The corn tortillas are great.
Kudos to Mercedes who was not our assigned server but still went out of her way to help.
We stopped for lunch and had an excellent meal. The food was obviously cooked-to-order. The snapper was fresh with loads of flavor. The Establishment including the restrooms were very clean and the staff outgoing and friendly!
Everything was great here. The tostones were so fluffy and yummy. The burrito I ordered was tailor-made to my liking.
This was a great place! I wanted to come to a restaurant that reminds me of Medellín, Colombia (I have a girlfriend that lives there) and this place did it for me. Señora Maribelle was a great waitress!!! She was very attentive, polite, and patient with me. The service was great and the food was great! I'm from New Orleans so I have to visit this restaurant again when I come back.
I had been raving about trying red snapper for the past few days & I searched the “best red snapper in Houston” and discovered this place... I went in around 9, to learn that they wanted to close at 10 they have a sign up, but google says midnight. They were polite and nice, seated me & took my order. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! Everything tasted good, even the rice! Also the crab legs are HUGE! Totally worth the money! I would definitely come back! The restroom was clean & only had 1 toilet but it was clean.. the waitress was nice & fast. It was a great experience overall

Had a great parking lot with plenty of room for me to park my truck and trailer spacious interior with Spanish motif plenty of seating tables and booths watestaff was right on top of things and were right there. We had small shrimp cocktails and the lunch special with tilapia and shrimp I chose french fries My friends had rice we all got full In fact I brought some home.

This place was good . Had the salmon plate . Understandingly , it took longer than I anticipated . Nevertheless, it was good . Make sure to ask the waitress to have it cooked to your liking. This place seems like a good place yo take a big party fir and event also . The pricing was very reasonable. They also have a full bar. Overall good experience. Recommend it if you’re a seafood fan .
The food was excellent, drinks were good. We had a party there and they were gracious to the level of noise we made. Someone doing donuts in a hellcat in.the parking lot. 10 stars for cool. Didn't feel real safe about my car though.
I had the seafood parrillada with the house mojo, the whole red snapper and shrimps, it was delicious. The raw oyster were fresh and I also had the ''Vuelve a la vida'' seafood coctel, the small one its a perfect appetizer. The service was kind of slow even though the place was not busy but the taste of the food is worth the wait.
It was the greatest experience in food I've ever had this year so far and it's just January be 24th tomorrow but that was so good happy birthday to my dad I'm eating dinner here in Texas while you're in North Carolina
My favorite place but I liked the other location on 610 and airline dr that they just remodel it will be open again soon.
My favorite seafoods oyster with Michelada also their fish with shrimp it’s delicious. I recommend to try it if you like seafood.

Had the grilled Shrimp butterfly, very good! We also had a Botana appetizer.. One of the owners went around all the tables & made small talk. She was very friendly & I felt a warm family environment.
Great food as always. Service was good and surprisingly the prices were very reasonable. At first I thought that the server had made a mistake. And I recommend the seafood of course.
