Six Ping is the BEST!
I stopped in here on a whim this past weekend and have already been back for more! My brother tried the taro bread and red bean bread (both of which he loved,) and I tried a slice of the green tea cake. It was so wonderful!
I hate saccharine sweet desserts, and can normally not stand cake, so I took a chance on it and it was SO worth it! The sweetness is subtle and so so so palatable—if you’re not someone who cares for overly sweet dessert, Six Ping is for you. I have since tried the coffee cake slice (and another green tea cake slice,) and it was super good as well! All of their cakes seem to hit a home run for me. I’ve yet to try any of their breads and rolls yet, but the savory breads and milk bread loaves are on my list to try again next week!
Otherwise, the inside of the bakery was exceptionally clean and the young man working as the counter clerk was very polite. The boxes they package cake slices in are adorable and resealable too!
Six Ping seems to have multiple Houston locations, but I am so so pleased this one is so close to me. If you are in the Spring/North Houston/Champions area, you have GOT to stop by!
Stopped this morning and got a fantastic looking and amazingly fluffy, moderately sweet cake. No cloying 'diabetes delight' junk you get everywhere. This one is light as a cloud! This is my second cake purchase here and it did not disappoint.
Looks recently remodeled... place looks great! First time visit and will likely visit again.
Found this Asian-style bakery by chance. Got some bread and pastries. Bread is like Asian-style bread and the pastries I got were more like European style and also were very cute. My wife especially liked those pastries and everything was delicious. I also was glad that all items were clearly labelled. Service was fast and friendly. Will come back again.
My favorite Asian bakery in Houston. They did an amazing job at making all the dessert for my sister-in-law's baby shower dessert table. Everything was a hit and everyone loves how beautiful and delicious they were!
Searched several Asian bakeries looking for this cake and finally found it. My husband had previously had this type of cake in California and always wanted it for his birthday. So glad I found this place! Delicious and nostalgic.
I went here alone on Valentine’s Day 2/14/2020 just to buy a cake for myself. The guy here treated me really nice, I think he knew that I feel lonely on that day. The breads and cakes were so good and healthy. They werent sweet at all. Love this place!!!
Love coming here to buy the Tiramisu Cake . They also have a great selection of bread . The cheese bread it’s my favorite and the fruit tart definitely coming back for more cakes .
First time here, Such delicious cake. Mango mouse is light and refreshing. My family absolutely loved it. Their cheese bread is also amazing!
I literally loved this place, the cakes are just so yummy and their prices are so wallet friendly!!
