The margaritas are enough to make the trip to Tequila Lopez, but the food is delicious too! This place used to be our neighborhood Mexican restaurant, and we were regulars. After moving away, we had not been for over 6 years. We returned to see if it was still the same great place and we’re pleasantly surprised! Not only did dinner not disappoint, but the owner of the restaurant greeted and remembered us. We will be going back again soon.
The food we ordered chicken fajitas and beef were awesome with trimmings! The tortillas nah need some homemade ones! The waitress not too friendly, The atmosphere was great

It's never overly crowded, I love the jukebox, my friends and I always have fun, food is decent as well! Low key turn up spot with your friends margaritas are by far, OFF THE CHAIN!!!
This is an old school gem with legit Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend the steak fajitas and the enchilada mole.
Really good. The salsa was great. I had the beef fajitas for one. It was a good amount of meat for the price. Overall good value and good service. The only reason for a 4 over a 5 is that the menu is just so extensive. It would take a long time to work through all the dishes. The fajitas were good, but not a 5. Some other dish might be a 5, I have to rate what I had.

If you love Tex Mex and tequila then this place is for you (margaritas are top notch as well) the food is fresh and authentic, the service is friendly and upbeat.

Just had a dinner with couples of friends in Houston. We found a very nice Tex-Mex restaurant. The food is delicioso and the waitress Geraldine was so attentive with us with her customer service. We will definitely come back
Great place, very authentic. And I don't eat much Mexican restaurants but this place right here was very clean, professional, and very helpful. And the lady who to my understanding was the owner, which she was by herself cooking and serving and food came fast and tasted like heaven in your mouth. If you're looking to eat somewhere and this restaurant pops up by all means go in sit down and enjoy you some authentic Mexican food that will send you to food heaven. I rate this place 100 out of 100.
Really good cabrito and the salsa de molcajete is worth it. I know we Texans think free salsa is a God-given right, and they have that here too, but the fresh stuff is worth the extra price.
My fav Mexican Restaurant ever! This was my dad’s favorite place to eat and drink. The food is always hot and fresh! The🍹 pack a 🥊 The prices are reasonable. My siblings and I celebrated my daddy’s bday there recently although he’s no longer living, we will keep visiting in memory of him. Thanks Poppa Lopez!
Date night with my girl was amazing like always... wish I could review her.. but since I can't.. here we go...we stop in at tequila lopez we had a great time and the food was good.. it has a great atmosphere and I would recommend it ... signing off until next time Two Peas
This place is wonderful and has a good Tex-Mex blend of food. The margaritas are very large and very well made. I can't say enough positive words about the salsa. It is delicious. It is worth every penny you spend and the owner. Pepe is a wonderful guy.
My family and I have enjoyed thier Mexican food here for 30 years. Have wanted always wanted to try thier Wednesday Steak special. Today was the day and I am seriously regretting that I have not. The Cut of steak was huge, tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Pepe you knocked it out of the park. It will not be my last. 👍👍👍👍
Reasonably priced for delicious food. Stands toe to toe with premium Tex Mex spots that charge twice as much.
This place has many great specials throughout the week. The ones I know of of the Top of my head are Mondays for happy hour all day and Thursdays for steak nights 😋

EXCELLENT! The traditional Mexican styled restaurant was warm and comfortable. The waitress was at our table within 3 minutes and our beverages, warm chips, and fresh salsa arrived a few minutes later. The waitress ensured tha our order was served within about 12 minutes, was hot off the grill, fresh and flavorful. The price for my date and I was only about $20! Well worth the visit. AND, if you like TL has a sports bar and lounge so you can chill with your friends, coworkers, or family.

Delicious authentic Mexican cusine, with lots of options to cater for all. We had the Cheese enchiladas served with Beans and Rice and Tacos al Carbon which are Three tacos (I recommend you have the flour tacos) served with pico de gallo, rice & charros which is absolutely tasty and mouthwatering. The chicken was seasoned so well and to be honest I could of just had that with the complimentary salsa. We travel about 40 minutes from where we live because it's worth it and it's my Mrs favourite Mexican place to go and eat. The server Lucy (I think) was absolutely amazing and welcoming. Before we even ordered we were given complimentary warm tortilla chips and a homemade salsa. The salsa was soo good and a perfect combination to put in with my tacos. It definitely deserves a 5*
