Abu Omar - Houston - Photo album

Little hidden gem in Houston. Food is delicious! Next time i visit Houston, I will make sure I come back to this place... Highly recommended đź‘Ś
Food was worth the new experience. In would try it again just didn't like how they didn't really have anything to drink also it was hot inside
Abu Omar Halal, a Middle Eastern restaurant, has its pros and cons. One of the positives is that they stay open late, which can be convenient for those late-night cravings. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The price-to-value ratio might not be in their favor, which can make dining there a
When I tell you this restaurant goes ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure customers have a great experience: I 100% mean that! The customer service is TOP TIER and they value their customer’s wants and needs. The chicken shawarma with the different sauces are banging. I would eat this for lunch any and every
This place is great to eat at and even dine in. It is kinda expensive but when you want great food you have to pay some money. You know the saying "you get what you pay for." Anyways, this was my first time going here and the experience was great. I ordered a kabob sandwich which came with onion but
Some of the best food around.. they are friendly new and open late and sooo yummy
Went super late - past 1 IIRC - but food was great and really nothing to complain about. Slightly sketch location but there was a cop inside and it really doesn't matter. Would recommend for a late night option.
We placed an order online via postmates and it was ready on time! The pick up was flawless and the portion size amazing. The falafel and chicken sandwich were absolutely delicious however the chicken shawarma over rice was just ok. It lacked seasoning as well as the chicken was dry and chewy. Other
The burger was great, my husband loves them. We always stop here on my cancer appointment. Little treat for my hubby!
I love this place; the food is amazing! Two years ago, I visited this spot, and now, after two years, I traveled from Fort Worth, TX, to Houston. During my trip, I made sure to stop by Abu Omar's restaurant, and God-willing, I plan to visit there again soon, inshallah.
Good food, place is small and when I went in they were doing constructon on the walls. While open serving food.
Simply Love! Best swarma in town. If you need to eat best Swarma in Houston..this is place!!
Super yummy food. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Will definitely be back many times.
I lived in the apartments nextdoor for 2 years. This was a weekly staple to cure my hangovers, the only thing I could eat when sick, and late night fix. Best beef arabe and pickled vegetables. I moved out of Houston about 6 months ago and I crave their food and warm smiles.
I didn’t place the order by phone; just walked up. My order was taken quickly and patiently. Once done, the food was presented hot and plentiful. The lamb/beef wrap was longer than I expected, and the fries were hot and more than I expected. Both tasted fresh and delicious! Good food. Good service.
Fantastic food! Some of the best dolmades I've ever had and the lamb is tender and delicious. The side sauce of the garlic aoeli goes very well with the sandwich.
