Meat Mojo Steak Night @ Public House Heights (they'll be here on only Monday and Wednesday)
We decided to have steak here as our dinner. It was fabulous!!!
Lamb is the best.
The bar Public House Heights itself is also good tho. Music not too loud and they have tv screens for you to watch games

Got some drinks with my friends here. I drank Grayson Merlot, house wine, tasted so good. My friends drank Raspberry Mojito and Moscow Mule that’s was good too.
Theme of bar is like Texan country style , I like it.
On Monday quite slow but staffs friendly and nice
Will be my regular place!!

Came here for steak night and it was great. Cooked right. The King Fu hot sauce had great flavor and heat. Lots of local brews on tap. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly service. We will be back.

Public House Heights is a GREAT place to order amazing drinks to have with the freshly grilled steaks outside. Next door is Rita's Water Ice which has the creamy gelato. Professional and fun staff. Strangers are always willing to share the bench seat. I totally recommend this location on a warm spring evening.

Great cozy neighborhood bar. Unpretentious and laid back. Craft cocktails were delish!! Bartenders Rock! Pictured is the Raspberry Mojito

A very good place to for Arsenal fans! I watched my first game there a few weeks ago! It reminds me of the pubs in England, where I used to live.
Pubs is a good way to go and watch a game with people who support your team!

Very cute and cozy small bar. Majority of the crowd are mature/professional. The bartender was pleasant and very attentive to the fellow patrons he kept the bar very tidy and clean. I love the different currency behind the bar it's pretty cool statement. It has a pretty big parking lot which is almost non existent in the Heights area and also free parking when I went. Would I come back absolutely. Check it out of you're in the area and when you're done drinking you can grab I bite to eat or some ice cream from the shops near by.

I recently moved to Houston and this has become one of my favorite bars. The staff is very nice and professional. The environment is laid back and relaxed. They have a decent selection of beer and cocktails. Not to mention it's dog friendly! I love coming here with my dog (Baby Girl). Oh and everyone that I've met at this bar has been awesome!...With the exception of a few jerk offs but you'll find those everywhere you go. If you're looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere with good people then come try this place! The darts and the jukebox are my favorite.

Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and friendly conversation with the bartender. Seems like it draws a chill crowd.
Nice neighborhood bar with sports, darts, and a good selection of drinks. Will be back!

This is one of my favourite bars in town. Not a dive bar, but small and cozy. Located in the heart of the Heights, it is a destination for a nice drink after going out for dinner, with a good selection of local beers. Bartenders are outstanding and very friendly. Wednesday night is Steak Night with the guys from Meat Mojo. And yes, they serve one of the best steak, and especially a rack of lamb chops that is to die for. Definitely recommended.

A nice bar in the Heights. The bartenders are vigilant and are pretty good about the speed of the drinks. I've gone to their steak night on Wednesday's and have not had an issue getting a seat (~5 minute wait). Indoor/outdoor seating, bar seating, and darts in the back.

Great neighborhood bar. Along White Oak there were many choices for watching MLB playoffs, and most were packed. Public house was busy enough to enjoy the games with an enthusiastic crowd but there was plenty of seating and very attentive staff. It fit my needs perfectly! The Moscow Mule drinks are a favorite cocktail for the locals.

This is my favorite bar on white oak. It has everything a local bar should have: good beer selection, friendly staff, a jukebox, a dart board, fooseball table, outside seating, and a 'come as you are' vibe. I have been to this place several times and always enjoyed myself. This place is almost never crowded, but is rarely empty either. In all aspects, for a local bar, this place just walks that perfect line. I frequently chill here drinking beer and hear some rockin tunes coming from Fitz's next door and just pop over there to check it out.

As the craft beer trend continues to grow one can only ask when will the bubble burst. Public House is a good place that capitalizes on such a trend. As a bar, nothing really sets apart this place. A great selection of craft beers and ales is becoming a necessity. Prices are inflated probably because it is in a nice shopping center with high rents.
There are three great things that make this place A-OK:
- It is in a great spot on the White Oak strip as it is walking distance to all the other bars on that block
- Floor plan is very conducive to group networking
- Parking wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be during happy hour. Plentiful with that overflow lot across the street
I'm curious when this craft beer trend is going to burst. What ingredient will ruin it? Until then I continue enjoying different flavors.

I've got to say it was definitely worth the drive if u wanna head over for steak night on Wednesdays!! It is market price and also u need to bring cash..but its a great meal if ur looking to splurge and u love grilled meats!!
Larry Nix
I’ve never liked the place, I don’t know why really, but, it just never gave me the vibe I was looking for.
Suzanne Hoy Riggenbach
Nice nieghborhood pub. Wednesdays nights are exceptionally good with Mr. Meat Mojo cooking his fine rack of lamb and other meaty entrees. The jalepeno cheese mashed potatoes are homemade and always consistent in quality as is, the main courses of lamb, steak or pork chops.
Destinee López
Had a great time with great service and Meat Mojo served a great meal from the tent outside!

Melanie is the greatest bartender in this whole city. Sweet, beautiful, funny, patient, kind and attentive. I manage bars and restaurants all over this country and I would steal her to work at my place in DC in a hot minute.

Service was nice and food was good would definitely go back.

When the lovely Dahnia is there it gets 10 stars. Grab munchies from any of the awesome fooderies in the area, let your dog tag along and hang on the porch with a tasty adult beverage. Inside is darts, comfy couches and local artists' work for sale (yay!). Friendly regulars and staff make it a good "Cheers" spot. Very good steak/pork night, oh those mashed potatoes...
Meryl Earthmom Bote
Dahnia's the best! What a lovely time we had there! I WILL be back!
Lee Kile
My favorite place in the Heights, hands down. Thank you Chris and Emily for all you do.

The environment is cheerful yet not loud ... I don't know about the price on drinks but I discovered a fav drink there...Whiskey Smash!!
Abby Hime
I love this place! It's my favorite bar in the heights and the staff is AMAZING! ;)

Snotty posers! Fake yuppie crowd. .......And boring!

Please do not advertise cocktails on the wall that your bartenders can not make. The bartender who has been there a while told us he never makes those drinks. I at very least thought he might have a clue on how to make one. So I ordered the "Horses Neck" paid for it and had 2 sips of it. It was lazy to be fair. Not at all what was described. Train your bartenders on your product or your product will suck. Maybe invest in a muddle and teach your staff what it is.
