This restaurant's fantastic. I had the Combo Lo Mein, my usual, with no onions. They prepared it just as I needed and it was so fresh, it was still steaming when the cashier brought it to my table. Tasty, reasonably priced, excellent service. They encouraged me to come back and try some of their other dishes, since it was my first time and I hadn't tried the specials yet. Hunan King's quality is a secret that's been kept too well.

Small, quaint restaurant in a strip mall. I went in just after the lunch rush had finished. My egg drop soup came out right away and was hot and quite good. My order of chicken shrimp cashew with fried rice and an egg roll came out a few minutes after. There was a lot of food for the money and it too was hot and very good!! I will definitely visit here again!!
Hunan King is like a chinese resturant with a taqueria feel. Fast. Great portion. Fair price. Veggies taste fresh and not frozen. If you can get past the lack of cleanliness it's a ok place for a quick bite.

On a recent Saturday evening, I visited Hunan King and ordered three entrees: the hunan shrimp, general tso's chicken, and the house fried rice. I was impressed with the short wait time and blown away by the amazing food! The hunan shrimp was particularly noteworthy, bursting with flavor and served in huge portions that were piping hot. Despite not typically ordering shrimp from a Chinese restaurant, I would highly recommend this dish - it's a must-try! I would give it a 10/10. The general tso's chicken was also delicious, with a crispy texture that sets it apart from similar dishes at other restaurants. While it tasted similar to Panda Express's version, it was less oily and more satisfying. I would give it a 9/10. The house fried rice was good, with a distinct sesame flavor that's hard to replicate at home. While it's something I could make myself, it was still quite enjoyable, and I would give it an 9.5/10.
Overall, I would rate Hunan King 4.9/5. Since changing management in 2022, I've noticed a significant improvement in the food quality. If you're in the mood for Chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try - you won't be disappointed!
This was my first time visiting here and I ordered my favorite dinner which was the Shrimp Fried Rice and it was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the food and service from Mr.Ray and Ms.Elizabeth. I will be visiting again. Thank you for the great service.
Have been eating in this place for about 16 years. When i order food to dine in it is always hot and portions are good.. when they delivered it was always hot too.. now when i have ordered tru doordash food is warm.. the only thing i can think about complaining is the egg rolls.. the last 2 times i have gone they have been burnt.. but besides that i love it
This was my first time trying Hunan, I was looking for something close to my job, I ordered online so I didn't know what to expect, but the food was delicious, seasoned just the way I like it. I got the Hunan King Fried Rice, I love spicey food and the wings crispy, I could have gotten them extra crispy that how I love my chicken cooked, I will go back to them.
The food was the best I've had in a while and the lunch special was plentiful. Customer service was great too! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Just got a flyer for this place this week and placed my first order. The egg rolls were outstanding, the veggies inside were fresh and cooked just right - not too firm, not too mushy. The hot and sour soup was good, I could taste the sour (vinegar) which is the right way to make it. They also switched out chicken for beef on a luncheon special which was very nice of them and it, too, had a lot of flavor and fresh vegetables. Delivery in under an hour during peak lunch time too! I'll be back for sure.
