Let me start off by saying that it is highly recommended to not go during rush hour if you are on a time schedule. Time waited to sit 3 was 10 minutes (not bad), but time waited to get our orders was around 15 minutes. Service is very abrupt due to the very busy environment. Definitely not enough servers. One of our guests ordered their food without cheese and they left the cheese off all the meals (kind of funny). Food was decent for being Tex Mex. I had the Chicken Flautas, but would've been better with Cheese. My other guests enjoyed their meals. I would go again at a different time to see if Service would be better. The restaurant sits at the bottom of the Chase Bank Bldg downtown Houston so it primarily serves the Bldg and surrounding customers. Recommend :)

Ask for Delmys! She works very hard. Attentive and knowledgeable; she has a great attitude, pleasant demeanor and a purpose-driven focus. She scans her tables to see if you are in need of service. Even when she was slammed with several large tables, she made sure to check on me very often. This is my go to spot downtown. You will find me here very often on my lunch break. I really enjoy the food and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always attentive and helpful. I highly recommend!

Great food and affordable options for breakfast and lunch. In the mornings, Kevin is always working hard and keeps the place running smoothly and the orders hot.

Good food, quick service. But what I really like are the chips and sauce they put out. Nice thick and crisp chips. Probably my favorite chips from anywhere, not cheap ultra thin chips like some places. Then there's the sauce, red one, it got a real good taste too it, not watered down.

I very much enjoyed eating at Maggie Rita's. The food was excellent! It was very tasty and inexpensive There is a wide variety of authentic Mexican food on the menue , and I encourage you to try them all. Maggie Rita's offers a number of takeaway lunch specials everyday, and you can call to find out what they are and place an order for pickup. Thier take away specials are generous in portions and a very good value The dinning room is open for sit down meals, and the service is exceptional - even in this age of COVID 19 My waitress, Sarah, was attentive and always accommodating and very friendly. I thought that the ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant, the kind of place you would feel comfortable taking a business associate or a close relation to lunch. Also I was surprised to find out that there is free Wi-Fi available to customers, which is very nice. Please be aware that there is no access to a restroom or a sink to wash your hands in the restaurant, you have to use the buildings lavatory, for which you must have an access card. Most inconvenient. I strongly recommend this restauran to anyone who would like to eat good Mexican food in a pleasant environment with good service at an inexpensive price, in the downtown area.

Red salsa was spicy, green salsa had a good flavor. All of the plates were large portions, too big for lunch. I wish they offered smaller portions for cheaper. Food tasted good, but not great.
