It is obvious that this restaurant is new and has every intentions to service the public with quality food and service. With that being said, my family purchased a Groupon for four for a Sunday brunch. It was sooo-- obvious that this promotion was way too much for this small business. We visited the restaurant today, the first Sunday after the promotion was offered. We arrived @ 130p (brunch 10a-4p). When we arrived there were only two waitstaff and one cook in the back (which is visible from the dining area). The only reason I gave this place a rating of #1 is because it was obvious the restaurant was exhausted in staff, food, and service. It really should deserve a honest ZERO. But I believe the dirty floors, dirty silverware, disgusting food (more specifically the meatless chicken wings, burnt waffles, unseasoned pork chops, and scorched scrambled eggs) was a result of the overwhelming response to the Groupon. Of course, when the owner's family members arrived to help because their waitstaff had disappeared!!! we knew it was time to go! Especially when on our way out, there was a child hanging a sign that said 'CLOSED--SOLD OUT"
Would definitely NOT go back, but believe there may, maybe, slightly a chance that the owners could grow and learn from their experiences today! This could maybe a neighborhood gem but after I vomitted all the way home (MAINLY B/C OF THE GUMBO!!!!!), that's a GI-NORMOUS MAYBE!!!!!
