Living in Asia, rarely am I impressed with the satay in Houston. I was surprised that the satay at Thai gourmet was very good, comparable to those u can find in Asia. All food here was great. I like that Thai Gourmet allows you to choose your spice level. Of course, I got Thai level spice for everything. Tasty with a good amount of heat.
I would recommend this place if you are in the Houston area.

Nice authentic full scale Thai restaurant and it’s very famous among locals here . Food is very tasty with five level of hot curry. Big and spacious with ample car parking. Friendly and efficient service too . I would recommend to everyone including friends and families. Peter our waiter is superb.

Can never go wrong here with anything here! Lunch specials are great! After they expanded their location, the long waits have been reduced considerably. I love their vegetarian options. The garlic okra has a nice smoky flavor and done very well. Cashew tofu is my all-time favorite. My friend could not stop eating her chicken in their Thai curry noodle - it was that good! Worth the wait on any day.
