I usually go there whenever I want pupusas, pastelitos and now and then some atol de elote. The pupusas are excellent and the atol de elote is a little Americanized but still sweet and delicious. The prices have gone up a little like everywhere but still affordable. Parking is ample and free.
Went a couple of weeks after they opened their new location and it is just as good if not better! Love the breakfast plates and the caldo de res. The pastelitos and of course the pupusas are also very good. Best place in the area!

This is the best pupusa place in the area. We have been frequenting El Amanecer since it opened 14 years ago. Every meal is consistently amazing and you cannot beat the price! The place is clean, staff is friendly, food is delicious! Highly recommend!

Have been coming for years, probably my #1 goto spot for pupusas. They could be slightly cheaper but no big complainants. Pupusas could be just slightly dryer but understandable.
Food is always delicious and hot. The place is well kept and clean. Menu has great variety, and prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Best pupusas in town..I've been to several others restaurants but this is the best so far..not to greasy..the mix (revueltas) and the cheese with Loroco are my favorites..the beef soup is absolutely delicious.. the service is excellent.. they're not bothering asking if everything is ok at every mom
