Gayatri Bhavan - Houston - Photo album

I always drive by this restaurant and tell myself I want to check it out. I finally did and I was not disappointed. I took my family here for dinner and the food was delicious and authentic. We tried a few items from their specials list and some off the regular menu. The food was flavorful and rich.
As someone who's only had Indian food on one other occasion, it was easy to enjoy a meal here. Our server was very informative and gave great suggestions. It is pricey, but everything is made fresh and is a bit different on a day by day basis depending on the available ingredients.
Really enjoyed the weekday buffet. Not so pretty photo, but it shows the great variety available on their lunch buffet. Fantastic dosa and chapati. Loved everything. One star off because not all the food on the buffet was piping hot (temperature).
The food tastes like something you would be served at an Indian wedding or celebration. The food is authentic, rich and sumptuous. The service was fantastic. The absolute best place to get South Indian food!! Great experience, atmosphere and a great way to get traditional South Indian Thali in Houst
Portions are huge, easily shareable, great vibes, loved the ambience especially the music. Staff was friendly even though we unknowingly arrived just before lunch closing time.
Missing Indian food taste? Then visit this restaurant. Recently ordered punugulu, paneer butter masala and mango dal from here and the taste is delicious food with hygiene and quality. Dont miss out this place.
Amazing food! We came in and were attended to very quickly. Our orders came very quickly and the staff was very friendly and cooperative. They recommended good orders and were overall great! Food was great!
We ordered food for Robotics team of 40 kids. Food was so yummy and everyone enjoyed it. Delivered on time. Gayathri & her husband (owner's) were so friendly. They took our last minute orders.
It's amazing and wounderful service. Love the food it was 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Very friendly people. It is highly recommended
💯% Worth driving 32Miles for Mysore Bonda and Punugulu.
Great simple food. Feels as if we are eating in an Indian canteen (in a good way)! Service can be better in that we got water only once. We went on Dosa Night and it was worth it! Will try out the regular menu and post pics with an updated review. Filter Coffee was awesome too! Got a complimentary d
