The food was freshly made and staff was nice. They have sandwiches for $2.89 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I ordered a combination sandwich and beef lemongrass sandwich with shrimp and pork spring rolls.
Good, small Vietnamese joint. The food isn't fantastic (Roostar's food, in my opinion, is better just down the street), but the staff is friendly and they are cheap! They've dropped prices since opening, and Tuesdays/Thursdays run a great deal on their banh mi. If you're in a hurry, I would avoid this place; they've been fairly slow, even with small orders. If you're looking for good cheap Vietnamese food, and call in beforehand, then this is the place for you!
Great food and delicious fresh fruit smoothies. Not too expensive, either. More care definitely goes into making the sandwiches here than at Subway or other mainstream sandwich shops. New favorite

I just had the BBQ vermicelli and the BBQ pork sandwich. Both were delicious. The place is new, clean and comfortable. Excellent prices too. I highly recommend Viet Subs!
The place is small but was clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Had a viet Sub and it was a bit bigger than others Ive had and it was good. They have a special on Tuesdays and Thursdays for sandwiches only $3 with tax.
One of the very few Banh Mi shops in Houston that uses real Banh Mi bread. Most places make it on French baguettes because they are cheaper I guess. But the authentic crispy and light rice flour rolls make such a difference. And real pate too. And tapioca smoothies. This place deserves great success.
