Was waited on by Trey. Service was very helpful, polite, and attentive. I made it in time for the lunch menu, which lasts a good portion of the day. The food was delicious and the house wine was tastefully picked. Everything was very affordable, and the place was not busy but felt inviting. Nice little gem that I will be returning to, so that I may try out more of their menu.

I had an enjoyable dining experience. The bread served before the meal was excellent. The Chicken Marsala was very good/tender. The creamy pasta side could use some additional flavor.

Charming Italian bistro in Kingwood! Completely renovated and fresh, with outside seating and updated menu. Really appreciated all the small details. The bread they bring you was fantastic. We couldn’t stop eating it! Ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer and, for me, there was way too much breading and they were too soft. Salad was good and the croutons are still top of their game. I ordered the bolognese but was not wowed. It came out warm but not hot, and I thought the sauce could have been more powerful and flavorful. But we will definitely come back for another visit! Next time, pizza!

Recently reopened after new owners renovated the interior. Modernized Italian menu with new options and more vegetarian selections. Excellent service on this visit. Very professional service by Becky. Please ask for her. Highly recommended. Will definitely return soon.

Had a little wait when we arrived, staff was friendly, my wife wanted fettuccine alfredo however, they only serve that during lunch Monday through Friday so she settle for the tortellini. Alfredo which she enjoyed. I had the lasagna. It was tasty. Nothing to write home about, it also was not very filling. Staff was a little slow attending to us but we were not in a hurry so we didn't mind. I have a toilet paper right there and then they have a toilet paper in the springs at the bottom

It was our first time for us having dinner at this place and we must say we were very impressed. The food was so delicious and also very affordable. We definitely recommend their supreme pizza, fried mushrooms, cheese sticks and salads. The chef really did an awesome job preparing our food that day. Can't wait to go back.

Dropped in for lunch on a whim. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Menu selection all looked great, but I went with the Papprdelle Bolognese. Absolutely excellent! I was very pleased. Highly recommend.

It's been years since we have been to J Christopher's. We moved out of the area and it's about a a hour's drive now. I would say it was well worth the drive. The new owners have renovated the place and the food and atmosphere are great. We came for the pizza as it is very close to what a grew up with. It's Chicago Tavern Pizza. Think crust just the right amount of cheese and toppings. They also make deep dish. The new menu is very good. Loved the complimentary garlic bread. Our service was outstanding. We will be back. If your in Kingwood and want Italian I highly recommend stopping here.

Best pizza in the surrounding Houston area. Try either the thin crust (my favorite) or the thick crust. You can't go wrong. Add cheese bread, fried mushrooms or fried zucchini appetizers. Remodeled and looking fresh under new management. The food is still great. The service is spot on.

Went there with my husband for dinner yesterday. It’s really nice on the inside. The service was really fast and great. Food was delish and wines were great. Only downside is that it was a smidge hot inside. Otherwise - awesome! Will be back.

Great place. We got there right as they opened, at 4pm. Everything was really good. The kids really liked the kids meals and the steak tataglia and ravioli were really tasty. Everything tasted very fresh.

When we lived in Kingwood, from 2000-2003, we fell in love w/the pizza & other foods from J. Christopher's. Originally from IL, [husband, (who's Italian), from Chicago], their pizza was the closest to a thin crust he grew up eating, (rated one of the top 10 US pizza joints). Now we live in Cypress, but saw that J. Christopher's had reopened, after closing Kudos to the new owners, they did not change the pizza. The drive was worth it & we'll be back. The pizza did not disappoint, YUM! It was served w/a smile and the Peroni was served in a frosted mug. Molto bene!
