Good quality sushi at a reasonable price. Family-owned and friendly staff. Pictured is a blue crab hand roll with added Masato and light rice. Eel w/o eel sauce add sesame seeds, yellowtail, albacore, and baby sushi-- Tamago- slightly sweet egg. Also, Super Philly roll (no eel sauce, light rice) and of course, hot sake!

My wife and I were having our Kia serviced at the dealership on Beach Blvd. We decided to eat wile we waited and she found this Japanese Restaurant that was right across the street, Perfect!
So we took a short walk and we were pleasantly surprised at this random find.
We will surely return when we’re in the area. The food was excellent, the portions we generous and the service too notch. Our server was the perfect mix of an attentive and friendly. That type of quality service with the excellent food is in my mind the perfect mix for repeat customers. Something I noticed wile dining. So if you’re in Huntington Beach give Ikeda a try you won’t be disappointed.

I came here on a Saturday night and they were quick to seat us. Our server was very friendly. Our food arrived within an orderly manner of time. And the portions were incredibly filling. I ended up taking my food to go and ate it for a total of 3 separate meals.
Excellent bento 🍱 lunch set for a reasonable price. Only the seaweed salad is pricey. Super small bowl for $5.95

The sushi here is really good and reasonably priced. The few times ive come here its been pretty quiet, around 3-5. Not sure if it really gets going after that but you can come earlier if you dont like crowds
Normally love the food there and order all of the time through food delivery apps. Having said that, they need more pictures and descriptions—ordered the Blue Crab Hand-roll and it is disgusting. I thought it would be soft shell crab but it was canned crabmeat drowned in mayonnaise—yuck! So horrible. Please stop adding mayo to crab and pretending it’s good. I was so disappointed.
Wide variety of delicious choices. We had Halibut carpacio, Eggplant, and Shrimp and vegetable tempura.
Never a disappointment! All sushi rolls are great, however, we tried the calamari for the first time and were not huge fans and would not recommend it. Other than that the dragon roll, tiger roll, and rainbow roll were awesome!
We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were greeted promptly and seated. Amazing helpful staff. There were 5 of us. We ordered and were blown away at how quickly our food arrived AND the quality of the food.
Food was good and owner was welcoming. I had miso cod and it was tasty but was not as thick as fish usually are when you order from restaurant.
Overall I would come back to this restaurant. Small and cozy.
This place is great. We love the lunch specials/boxes. We usually share a roll and a box, it's so much food and affordable. Great Udon...Everything is always presented nice and super tasty. Staff is perfect and helpful/friendly.
This is a single parent approved place. Lunch ends at 3:30pm. 3 item bento is only $14.75. Picture below was taken by my 11yr. old daughter with a voracious appetite.
It's ok. I had the chicken teriyaki and they gave me a lot of chicken. It was cooked well and thoughtfully sauced. The dinner salad was tasty. I also had the crispy rice spicy tuna sushi and it was good. The rice didn't break my teeth so that's good and the spicy tuna was heaped on. The sesame green beans were ok but a little bit more sweet than I cared for. Overall me and my party enjoyed the food. The service was prompt and friendly even when it got busy.
