This is our 2nd time coming to G’s Boat House Raw Bar. Let me tell you this place is a must try.

This reminds me of my favorite bar at home. The bartenders are friendly locals who know their stuff. The whole time I was there folks would walk by and say hi to them. One of the regulars got a promotion and everyone at the bar congratulated him.

While at the pier we decided to find food. A quick Google search brought up several. G Boathouse stood out and off we went! I can honestly say that was some of the best service and food I've ever had. Makes me wish that place was in San Antonio!
Beer battered shrimp tacos $17- were huge, lots of Shrimp and yummy. Fish and chips $19 - perfectly fried Cod served with fries, tartar sauce, ranch and ketchup, also delicious
Great local spot for strong cocktail and good food. Love their clam strips, oysters, ahimsa sandwich and also the cobb salad. This time I had the fish & chips and they were delicious too!
Pretty good but they were definitely under staffed. They had 1 server waiting 12 tables. The food also took a while to come out. So I don’t know if this is how they normally operate. The food itself was good.... nothing about over the top flavor wise. Good selection of cocktails and beers on tap. Yo

Food was decent although the place itself is a bit on the grungy side. The ceviche was mostly vegetables with only a bit of fish. The chicken sandwich was better and the sweet potato fries were good. Service was attentive. I'd give it 3.5 stars but had to pick a whole number.
