The restaurant has a family-friendly environment. The foods are delicious. Not only that, but the portion size are neither too large or too small. The waiters are all friendly and helpful. The only issue is the seating. There are not many tables or seats in the restaurant. It is not too much of an issue as most of the meals are done in 15-20 minutes. However, I would recommend to plan accordingly.
Go here if you want authentic and great tasting Mexican food. The meat was very well seasoned. Our waiter was wonderful as well. Highly recommend this spot for a nice evening.
First time here tonight and the food was AMAZING! authentic and tasty. I ordered the enchilada with avocado and it was phenomenal. They also give you complimentary salsa with chips, potato flautas as as app, and a custard dessert too! I thought that was so nice plus it tasted very good as well. I ordered tres leche cake to go so I can’t wait to get home and try it!
We have been here 2 times and had great fast service 2 times. The chips and salsa are great while you wait for your very fast food service. The arroz con pollo might be the best meal I ever had. They even gave us a dessert to share for free, can't beat that. We will be back!
Fresh food and such amazing flavors. Wait staff was attentive and brought out some of their favorites to sample... even the freshly made hot sauce, great spice. It is worth making a detour or if you are in the area it is a must place to sit and enjoy a meal.
Been going here for a long time meaning years for Mexican food haven’t been here in a while but every time I go food is amazing. I have no complaints at all. The guys who run this place are on point and very friendly
My girlfriend and I went here for a date. It truly is a little hole-in-the-wall place. The small dining room is at the back of the restaurant. We were seated immediately and given the customary complimentary chips and salsa. Our waiter came soon and asked us if we'd made up our minds or if we had any questions. He was very friendly, and was quite dressed up for a small restaurant like this. We ordered an appetizer of fried plantains, enchiladas, and chimichangas. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The plating here was also spectacular, and the meals were really something to behold. We were stuffed by the end when our server asked if we would like dessert. We thanks him but declined. However, when he brought the check he brought with him a little dessert on the house! It was a delightful experience and I look forward to going back here!
Small hidden gem place, definitely worth it, not like the big overpriced mexican restaurants around this area, many times in this place and always on point, the owner usually plays the guitar and entertain the guests, if you want a nice ambience, good food, top notch service and affordable this is it, Fridays and Saturdays you may have to wait a little while for a table, you won't be disappointed. Recommend it, the frozen margaritas are the best!

They treated us as if we were family. Made us feel very special. Intimate atmosphere. Love you
Excellent Service and food. Waiters are very friendly and polite. Recommend 💯
The food was soo good, I'm a native Californian so I've been missing really good Mexican food. The enchilada Suiza was fantastic. They also have a homemade salsa that has a great heat but awesome flavor that just put the meal even further over the top. Although the food was so good it didn't even need it. Everything we ate was delicious.
We did a Vlog from here as we both work in the area and try food on NY Ave and this place did not disappoint. Food was delicious and priced reasonably. The staff was friendly. The tres leches cake was fantastic. It was so good, took the family a few days later to try it out and they loved it. I cannot wait to come back here again.
My friend and I happened upon this restaurant and had a wonderful time! The food was great (chicken mole enchiladas, chicken flautas, churros with rice pudding, flan) plus a couple of great margaritas. Service was fast. As it was a Saturday night the owner also entertained us with live music (guitar) with Mexican and American songs. It was one of the nicest times I've had in a long time.
I have been coming here since I was 10 years old 18 years later and it is still my fav Mexican restaurant ever and the best horchata hands down !
