Too bad, how the server could spoil a "nice" dinner! Cold apps, cold plates, unresponsive, apparent attitude... Most other visits here were quite exceptional so I will chalk this up to an exception and surely give this place the benefit of the doubt and hope you all do so too. The atmosphere is very
Beautiful holiday decor. Very friendly staff. Our meal was delicious! I had the salmon and the amazing dessert platter. Gluten free choices. And they made a special sauce for me that was gluten free and was delicious!
My wife and I tried their weekday prix fixe menu. She had the stuffed mushrooms, pork chop scarapariello, and Italian cheesecake for dessert. I had the cold antipasto, fresh orecchiette with sausage, broccoli rabe, sun dried tomatoes and cannellini beans in garlic and oil. I also had Italian cheesec
Outstanding food and service . Terrific breads and salads. Authentic Italian. Love it.
Great and attentive service by Galileo. My linguini in white clam sauce was excellent and I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. A must visit.
Excellent service and delicious food Haven't been here in many years Had a great meal here
I have been going to Piccola Bussola and La Bussola for over 20 years. Two of the best Italian restaurants on Long Island. The hospitality is great and the food is delicious from appetizers to dessert.
Food was great. We sat in the outside tent. The guys moved heaters around to keep another group warm--nice. Water not replenished as requested and asparagus in the pasta was a few pieces(like 3 small tidbits)
What a classy and timeless elegant restaurant with the best service and greetings. Food was amazing, will be back. We loved it
Food was horrible. Sat down no one ever gave us bread. We had to ask for it. Caesar salad and dressing was horrible. Dressing tasted like mustard. My friend had Shrimp Orreganta it was drowning in oil and looked like mush. I had Branizano, it had no taste. This location was horrible. I have b
Piccolo Bussola has been among my family's and my favorite restaurants for years. They're a reasonably priced Italian restaurant that offers that extra touch and pampering that we all enjoy when seeking fabulous food. Whether choosing family style platters or individual plates, the food will delight
My family has had many birthday celebrations a christening and most recently, a funeral gathering at Piccola Bussola in Huntington. John is a wonderful host, so much so, that you think you are in his home. The food is always delicious. The service is excellent. And, they never rush you out. I want t
Good family style Italian. I like that you can get personal dishes as well. Easier with kids. Definitely worth it
We had a late lunch for 17 for family and friends during restaurant week and after a funeral. John and the entire staff did a wonderful job. The choices and portions were abundant. Sure, they added a 20% gratuity but we were so please with everything that we added another 15%. Thanks for making
A very comfortable place to let your worries dissipate. Great place to take families portion sizes excellent. I had a wonderful day with my girlfriend and will be coming back very soon. The meal was lovely what do you expect from an Italian restaurant and the service was even better.
Highly recommend, although I haven't physically been there in @ least 3-4 yrs (must fix that, & soon!). But we've still ordered via take-out, as their food is always delicious & one of our "Top Five Faves" of L.I. restaurants. We've dined here for 30+ yrs now, both on-site or take-out. It's also be
Family size and individual portions. Slightly pricey, but I remember $8.00 pasta dishes. Worth the price. Well-prepared, flavorful. The chef does not fear garlic. A good thing. Worth a visit.
