I've been going to Southdown Pizza for years. Great pizza and heroes, friendly staff and great price, considering you'd pay an arm and a leg at Di Raimos and you'd rather eat the box.
Phenominal pizza place! The food is delicious and the staff is always nice. They're always willing to go the extra mile to make sure youre happy. Their drunken grandma slice is the best!
I love Southdown! The pizza is the BEST! The service is amazing! And they support the community so well! I have been going there since I was a kid and it's always been a family oriented, well run establishment! Try there shrimp Parmesan it's awesome....so are the fried raviolis! Thanks for being so awesome Southdown! You rock! Xo
After recently moving to Huntington and trying every pizza place in town, Southdown Pizza is the best and the only place we’ll order from! They’re not overpriced like every other pizza place in town and the food is delicious every time! Fast service, delicious food, and wonderful staff!!

Southtown Pizza is dynamite - they make GREAT traditional pizza & specialty pies, the dough is always evenly cooked & just excellent and how every pizza crust should be.
Those little pepperoni knots are amazing - when we have friends & family visiting from out of town, we basically always order pizza & knots from Southdown - in the words of my "NY transplant" family members "this is how pizza is supposed to taste, oh my god" (what they've got down in Texas isn't cuttin 'it for them, lol). This is one of my favorite local places, and it's easily the #1 take out for out of towners (I've got more than 1 friend that specifically requests "the special pepperoni knot place" when they visit - I love how something so small is so enjoyable like that).
They're also VERY reasonably priced - especially for Huntington, lol. I like to mix it up sometimes or try new flavor combos, so I'm a big fan on the 12" mini pizza - it's the perfect size for 2 people to split, and if you're trying out a toppings combo you're on the fence about, it's ideal!
They're also super cool about special requests, and, they are hands down the most consistent with takeout & delivery of any restaurant in Huntington, pizza or otherwise. Honestly since covid, a lot of take out / delivery orders from many other restaurants have been missing items, taking forever, or just straight up the wrong orders, and we all know that sucks when it happens. But Southdown is on the ball - my husband & I both work very long hours, and get takeout regularly, and I'm never stressed & double checking Southdown orders because they are organized and consistent on top of being pizza masters. I know the stuff we ordered is what's in the bag before I open it, which is honestly exactly what's needed on those crazy long days where you just want to go home and eat dinner and not have to think about it.
I saw another recent review about the crust not being great, and not only do I disagree, I just think that for a small, independent business that knocks it out of the park 99.99% of the time, they deserve better - we should be celebrating small businesses that make our town the place that it is, and Southdown is one of them.

Really enjoyed our first time meal from Southdown. Ordered pizza, pasta and several appetizers and sides. Ingredients were fresh, dishes were flavorful and food arrived on time and hot from the kitchen. Staff was also very courteous while taking order and upon delivery. Will definitely order again!
I have always felt that this place is a hidden gem in Huntington seeing as how it’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. But I love a good slice of cheese pizza from here as well as I have size of one of their many specialty pizzas that they offer. Don’t expect any glitz glam from in this place but the food is good and affordable and the service is always kind and courteous.
We get so many pizza deliveries that it feels like a family friend is arriving! They are super friendly and pleasant in every way. The pizza is awesome. I can't wait until Friday :)
Best local pizza shop around! Matt and the entire crew are awesome. Highly recommend the chicken honey Thai specialty slice!! Delivery is always quick and the catering is great for any party or event. 10/10
amazing pizza. ask for sesame seed crust - the BEST. always friendly and pizza always fresh and delicious. thin but not paper thin, crust chewy not hard. good prices. anyone who gave a bad review is a weenie because they tried to order something fancy (this is a simple shop - not an italian eatery) or are too lazy to pick up their food. get real, people. southdown has amazing pizza and thats that.

Really good specialty sandwiches. A different one every day of the week. So far Friday eggplant parmesan is my favourite. Sauce is a little thin and undercooked but works out well when baked on pizza and sandwiches.
Nice staff making you feel like family in this long time pizza place with tons of Italian classics and specialty slices.
Nice family place and great food. My son wanted to try something different and out of town and he occurred a winner! Kudos to the chef and what a great special. Looking forward to visiting you again and hope you take advantage of the text service for your customers!
