We’ve already been there 4x since it opened. Everything about it is solid. Great food with great service at very reasonable prices and you can’t go wrong. Portions are either normal or family style (aka huge) and you get to decide which size you want for both apps and entrees. Bar is great to hang at too. Good drink selections. We’ve had a different waiter and staff each time and it was great every occasion. Highly recommended.

My Son had been to Matteos Trattoria while visiting family in Boca Raton, Florida, and Loved it! He insisted taking his Long Island, family to Matteos newest location in Huntington, NY. To my Surprise, not only was I blown away by the Beautiful Elegant decor, but the Manager (who we knew from Rothmans Steak House) welcomed us and had a Perfect table for us in front of their gas fireplace. The food, which is served Family Style, was absolutely Delicious, and the service was impeccable to say the least. Our matrade treated us like we were the only customers in the restaurant. All 8 of our guests cannot wait to return for another Delicious dinner. In closing, the Price was Right as well. A Beautiful and lovely experience all around.

Great decor, the attention to detail was right on point and the food was amazing. Looking forward to my next meal at Matteo’s Trattoria of Huntington. The people behind this restaurant really took there time to make everything just right.

The food was great and the service was excellent! We were there for my dads birthday and he had such a wonderful time there!!

I have been in the food industry for over 35 years a good restaurant will always have people waiting to be seated considering how busy they were last night the service the ambience the food highly recommended I took 8 people there for dinner we had the best time looking forward to going back real soon thank you Matteo's

What an elegant restaurant! Sophisticated yet down to earth. The food is fantastic and they are well equipped to handle dairy and gluten allergies. We were here for a grooms dinner and the servers were so kind. The food is fantastic and worth the price. My only suggestion would be for them to serve better tea, a tea worthy of their upscale prices instead of the tea bags they served.

Our server Tony was great. Very on point and friendly. Pork osso bucco with Parmesan risotto special was super savory! The Veal Chop Valdostana was a good blend of earthy mushrooms & tender Veal with a hint of prosciutto so as not to overpower the dish. Enjoyed our visit very much.

I started with 4 stars cause I feel the host/ hostess sets the tone for the whole experience; and luckily my server, Rachel, made it better for me to enjoy my drink and dinner. Party of one NEVER wants to be seated in the middle of the dining space!! Very good food. The tiramisu was amazing 😋

The food was amazing and our guests were pleased beyond words. My mother recently passed away and we decided to have the repast lunch at Matteo’s of Huntington with 50 guests. And we were not disappointed. On the day of the event, we had a dear brother of ours who is a well-known television personally/event planner go to the restaurant anonymously to ensure that upon our arrival everything was ready; and it was. The staff worked with him and he made certain that the sitting arrangements were to our liking (he will undoubtedly provide his own review at his convenience). To begin with, when we initially booked the venue, which is quite proximal to our home, the chef worked with us to prepare a menu that we would enjoy and our guests would find delectable and appealing to their palates. The food was absolutely delicious; there was plenty of it and the service was top-notched. One of the things that pleased me was their flexibility in allowing us to bring a dish of our own that we made ourselves to honor my mother’s memory and her love for cooking excellent food, as she was an incredible cook. Everyone ate to their heart’s content. We were very satisfied. What mattered to me and my wife the most was to ensure that the food was fresh, delicious, and served with respect. Everything worked out splendidly. There was a great deal of food, drinks, desserts, and our guests left the place smiling and barely able to walk from eating nearly everything. Even the children were happy. I have no doubt that my mother was delighted and gave her blessings from heaven at the level of love, respect we gave her and also received at Matteo’s. We honored her in a manner that she deserves. We will certainly keep Matteo’s in mind for any future events and regular dining.

First visit with neighbors. Good pre-fix deal for high-end restaurant. Pappardelle Fungi was great but sole was so so. Nice ambience except the next table with dozen ladies were screaming throughout the meal! Very uncomfortable. I noticed our waiter was trying to calm them down but no avail…

We were a party of 6 and did family style. The portion sizes and food were good. The service was great, and our waitress was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is pretty with plenty of parking available.

Very nice place! It was our first time here and we were both very pleased. Excellent food! The staff all seemed very nice and helpful. Made reservations and we did not have a wait at all (not sure if that is how it is all the time but remember this is a year of Covid so I'm sure a wait is normal when covid is not a thing). The waiter was off to a good start, came over brought us waters and drink menu. Average price for specialty drinks. I was tempted to try the Lemon drop Martini but went for a boring old beer lol. Hubby got Jack and Coke and said it was generous with the Jack 👍🏻 We ordered Salad, Calamari Fritti and meals (Chicken Marsala & Grilled Salmon) The wait staff all seemed to work well with each other... meaning someone different brought out each course... Not our waiter. That didn't bother us because they were kind of busy for Sunday and at this point it was just salad and the appetizer. We noticed the waiter had just got a table with a about 8 people so at this point we had a feeling that would be the last we would see of him. Meals arrive and the server looked a little lost as to where to go but made his way to us. Our waiter did not come back unfortunately until just about done. Luckily though if we were to need anything there was always someone in an earshot so overall I actually can't complain about the service. The service was very good my original waiter not so much. He was very nice and helpful with questions before party table. I get it bigger table bigger tip. I can't even fault him for that being we are dealing with covid and restaurants had been closed and reopened with restrictions so maybe he really had to hustle... I don't know. But again that was just 1 person and he didn't suck but was lacking. Normally I would have been upset and this is no fault of the establishment. (Like I said there was always another server around so it wasn't like we were ever sitting waiting long for anything. The food was fantastic, they even accommodated my request and put a candle in my husband's dessert (which was delivered by our original waiter lol and a few other waiters) that sang Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 I would 100% go back. Like I said, we would have been upset if we were just ignored but that was never the case. Here are some pictures of our meals Chopped Salad (dressing was good, had red pepper, tomatoes and olives) Calamari Fritti (cooked perfectly the sauce was good too. I added black pepper to sauce but thats just my preference) Chicken Marsala (Hubby said it was delicious, very tender, not overcooked, very generous portion) Grilled Salmon (Very good, was not dry and it had a great taste with the beans and Spinach) Cheesecake (hubby likes his plain) mine has strawberries, with strawberry and Vanilla cream and it was delicious. I will also add that this place was very elegant and clean. Covid protocols in place but definitely call incase things change. I also used open table to make reservations but I still called the restaurant to make sure they had us booked. I hope you'll try this place and enjoy it!
