I was hired May 11th and up until then had never even stepped foot in the restaurant. In the past week I have been privileged to sample almost all of the items available on the menu! I must say that I wish I had discovered this restaurant much sooner! The burgers are top notch, the fries are my favorite style (cooked to perfection), the shrimp is Grade-A, the onion rings are just flat out awesome, and my favorite is the frozen custard! If you haven't tried this place yet stop in and get you some good eats! Myself or one of the other fine cooks will cook you up a great meal! And you can enjoy this meal in a restaurant modeled after 1950s style burger joints! You won't be disappointed!
This our first time coming here and we absolutely loved it! The food was excellent and service was great, our waitress Renee was really great with everything. I highly recommend Hwy 55 burger shakes & fries If you've never been there then you need to make the trip.. it's well worth it!
I went here before a sold out concert at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena. There were also two other big events going on that night. Everywhere we tried to go had a wait of at least 90 minutes. We walked by this place and decided to wait in line (no reservations available). We got in within 20 minutes. Every table stayed full while we were there and we still got quick service and quick food. Expected it not to be great since it was so busy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Best tater tots I’ve had since I was a kid and the grilled cheese was awesome too. If they can be that awesome on a slammed night I can’t imagine how good it is on a regular day! I’ll definitely be back!
I went there Thursday night for dinner. Only 1 waitress and 1 cook working. Waitress very nice and attentive. Cook brought the food out. They were a Great team working together to get the job done. As I had been a server in the past I myself would of been a little stressed as business was picking up for dinner. Food was great and service was too. The food came out quick, Cheeseburger was good and the onion rings were fantastic! I applaud these 2 for doing a Great job working together to serve their customers.
I went to dinner with my family and the service and food were excellent!!! Our waiter was Sarah and she was absolutely wonderful and kind!!!

Its not unlikely for me to get a food delivery order from this place. I love the atmosphere and smell of the food so much that my wife and I decided to eat there. Food is delicious and so are the shakes. This is an old school diner atmosphere. Service is also top notch. They have a great location right next to Pullman Square. This is a must stop place.
Good food, but agree with others, a little pricey for what you get. Have to say the orangeade is da BOMB! In fact they fresh squeeze the orange for each order. Overall I recommend.
Good, fast and inexpensive food with friendly service. It's a unique family friendly dining experience. I'll be back to try some of their other menu offerings. Definitely worth your time to stop by and check it out.
Had a cheeseburger fries and milkshake and it was all great and a fair price.
Staff was outstanding especially Abigail and katlin . they went above and beyond !!
Good little diner. Cole was terrible tho. No green to it at all. Bad taste. Made from a cabbage core. They (buy) cheap coleslaw. But, they are nice and never been disappointed other than the coleslaw. GOOD FOOD.
Did I mention they need some good coleslaw?
