This is the best Chinese restaurant I've eaten at in Idaho. Its definitely the best one in Idaho Falls. The atmosphere was terrific, the food melted in my mouth, and the service was very good. I've dined at several Chinese restaurants in Rexburg, Idaho Falls, and Pocatello, and I have to say that Yummy House is the best.
I had Tiny Spicy Chicken, which came with the biggest, fried won tons I'd ever had, which were perfectly cooked--not burned--filled with creamed cheese. After eating the first one I offered the second to my wife, secretly hoping she'd decline because I wanted that one too. The food was delicious! The portions were generous!
I really hope this restaurant is successful because I hope it is here for a long time. I definitely plan on going back!
The price for our two lunch specials was completely reasonable--inexpensive actually. I think many people could afford to eat lunch there regularly.
Wow, hot fast delicious food. The portions are huge! Hot n sour soup needed more sour... Mongolian beef was great, wife enjoyed Kung pao veggies. The food is generally a bit salty for my liking.
Yummy is appropriate. Was traveling from Utah to Montana.
My girlfriend in Florida googled chineese food for us... My son and I stopped in and we loved it!! Great atmosphere, great service and will stop in again sometime!
Great food. Good price on the lunch special. Would def come back.
Tip: avoid the jasmine tea as it was super weak sauce.
Good value. The honey sesame chicken lunch special is a very good value. The Singapore noodles and house special lo mein are awesome. Matter of fact, the Singapore noodles are some of the best I've ever had.
Inconsistent. It was okay. I think this may be one of those places you just need to know how to order. The noodles are amazing, but we hated the rice and soup. We are from out of town so we ordered the family dinner delivered to our hotel. The delivery was prompt and the the staff friendly. Would order again but next time chose on a dish by dish basis.
Yummy's was yummy!. So far this is the best Chinese food i've had since i came to idaho falls. The place looked nice, it was clean, and the service was great. i had a combination diner which consisted of hot and sour soup, a spring roll with 3 slices of pork, chicken with broccoli, fried rice, and lo main. all that plus an iced tea cost me $11.65. i left full and took half of it to go for later. Go there! It will be Yummy!.
This is not yummy house menu,
The Singapore noodles were great! The sesame beef was yummy. And they deliver!!!!
Favorite Chinese food in Idaho Falls. Try the black bean chicken with extra veggies no rice for a lower carb option.
A favorite lunch spot. I love their Curry Chicken, some of the best I have ever had. They give generous portions and have reasonable prices, probably too reasonable. With tax, lunch was $5.85 (November2012). The chicken is tender and juicy. The vegetables (green peppers, carrots, onions) are a little crunchy. It contains lots of curry in a thick sauce. After I eat all the chicken and vegetables I mix the steamed rice with the remaining sauce. Yum yum! I have this about once a week. If I go there more than once a week I have the chicken and vegetables. I have this with their fried rice. They put some egg and veggies in the fried rice, great stuff. I like the chicken and veggies but in my opinion I like to salt it and I think that improves the flavors. Just how I prefer my food, others might like it the way it is or with some soy sauce. I am in kind of a rut, I should have more variety (except for the curry chicken, LOL). I usually get take out and they do not include soup with the take out. I have been there for lunch and had the soup and it has always been good. I have also had the pot stickers, which were good. I don’t remember all that I have had there but I don’t recall being disappointed by anything. I don’t go out for dinner as often as lunch so I have not been here for dinner, but if I were going out for a Chinese dinner I would not hesitate to come here. In my opinion as someone who has worked in a restaurant, enjoys cooking, and has experience with some outstanding San Francisco Chinese restaurants, I think this place has some of the best Chinese food in town. It is an older place so the interior is older but clean. When I have been there the service has always been good but I have never been there when it was real busy. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I like the Kung pao chicken lots of veggies very fresh light taste
Ordered Egg Benedict and it was good, just okay. The ham was a little chewy but the sauce was yummy. I've tried better else where but I'll definetly recommend their signature pancakes.
The Yummy House is our favorite Chinese restaurant in town, by far! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! Lo Mein is great, we love their General Tso's, and my kids always have the honey sesame chicken. We have been going here for 12 years and it has been run by the nicest husband and wife team. Love it!
We were in town for the weekend to see family, we wanted something a bit different than pizza or burgers. We found Yummy House on Yelp and I’m so glad we did!
Service was a tad bit slow, you could tell the poor gal was working as hard as she could. The place was about 2/3 full when we arrived with our group of 9.
We ordered mainly the combination dinners, some soup, and nuggets for one of our kids. The food was brought out separately which may annoy some folks, but it was perfect for us.
The food was hot and fresh. Veggies were crisp and fresh. The meat was tender and excellent.
All in all it was excellent, taste was great too! We live in utah, and we’ve decided we will need to bring some family back just to try the food.
The waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. The food came quickly and was delicious. The beef was tender and had great flavor. The fried rice was average and didn't have a lot of flavor. The rangoons were amazing. I had never had them before. The restaurant was quiet but clean and cozy. I would definitely go back.
We visited the restaurant on a weeknight. I was very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. The food was absolutely delicious. From the wonton soup to the pot stickers to the entrees were absolutely fresh and delicious. Haven't had this kind of Chinese food since I left California. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good Chinese food.
This place has the best chinese food in town. Try their mango chicken it's amazing.
Delicious. Ordered the Honey Sesame lunch, came with delicious wontons. I added Egg drop soup and chow mien. Standard Chinese, it was done in like 5 minutes.
