I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Hyde Park restaurant in Indianapolis. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. The menu offered a delightful selection, and the dishes we ordered were prepared to perfection. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the presentation was as beautiful as it was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, making it a great place for a special occasion or a memorable night out. I can't recommend Hyde Park enough – it truly deserves five stars!

This was my first experience at Hyde Park, and we celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. The staff immediately greeted us with a smile and placed a candle on our table to make it more romantic. Our server was well versed in the cocktail menu and recommended a few options based on our likes. He also recommended the bacon appetizer. It tasted like glazed ham, which was delicious. We started our meal with the lobster bisque and Cesar salad. Our server poured chunks lobster into the soup at the table. It was silky yet full of lobster meat, I could stop eating it. The Cesar salad was the best my husband has ever had. The croutons were soft and buttery. We shared the porterhouse steak alongside mashed potatoes and broccoli. Steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The sides were both delicious. There was nothing about this meal we didn't like. Dessert was some of the best in the city. The carrot cake was huge. It could serve 3 people. We are already planning to go back next year for our anniversary. Heck, I want to go back as I type this. If you have a special occasion, I highly recommend this establishment.

Great place for special occasions and if you just want a quality steak!!! We stared off with Fiji water and I order a few Stella beers and a black cherry bourbon and a few cosmopolitans… then we ordered 2 appetizer’s one was the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and the Crispy Calamari… I don’t eat calamari but the wagyu beef was great that was my first time having it!! Then I ordered the 12 oz filet mignon butterflied Reggie Wayne steak and a few different sides the mashed potatoes, corn, scalloped potatoes, brussel sprouts… the steak was pretty good and the sides paired well with the steak and after that we had dessert and it was the buttered cake and ice cream and it was really cool watching it burning… over all we will be back and everything was amazing the sever was really good and funny as well one of my favorite places now lol

Everything was great; cocktails, lobster bisque, wagyu filets, and great side options. Only complaint was very small oysters but that happens sometimes with oysters. Great restaurant and atmosphere.

We truly enjoyed our visit this past weekend. Our server Shearyl was spot on and we appreciated her attentiveness . The floor manager also checked in on us which speaks of great service as well. My partner ordered the Hyde Wedge and I went for the Lobster Bisque, which was very flavorful. The 8 ounce Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and the two 4 ounce lobster tails added on were also full of flavor. The pricing was right in line with a high end steak establishment in my mind except perhaps the drinks. I thought a bit overpriced. That and unfortunately our seating location right by the bar, kitchen and restrooms made the rating only a 4 star. I am real glad we checked out Hyde Park as has definitely been on my list to visit.

My wife and I made a last minute reservation for a Friday night date night. Let me first say we aren’t your typical fine dining people. We do it maybe twice a year just for the experience, but other than that we stick to our normal places. This was our first time at Hyde Park our last fine dining experience in Indianapolis was at St. Elmo. Let me tell you HP beat SE in every category. The host was fantastic from the beginning and got us seated quickly. He made causal conversation during the interaction and was very welcoming. The server was fantastic he started off with welcoming us by family name. Which says to me he did his research before even coming over. I think he could tell we weren’t your normal fine dining people and did a great job making us feel comfortable and explaining the menu. For comparison I didn’t get this at St. Elmo it felt more classist and elite, like oh I know they don’t belong. The server also has an assistant who made a point of stopping by for a second, it was a busy Friday night but the thought is what counts. Next the staff bought out a sushi sample which was to die for. This set me up for thinking this is going to be such good food. We didn’t get an appetizer so the next food out was my wife ribeye, I got the Miller Experience which is a filet migon and we got the Mac and cheese side. The food was delicious and top tier, it defined what I imagined fine dining should be for flavor. The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful, the Mac and cheese was to die for and the dinner rolls were exceptional. This was a part St. Elmo fell short on, the steak lacked flavor and the food was only ok. We ended our night with the dessert and heavens was it good. We got the butter cake and it comes with a show, it was easily the best dessert at a restaurant I’ve ever had. Last mention goes to the valet team that was quick and attentive and got my truck back to me with no issues. The valet manager was friendly and very kind and so was staff. This is a top spot in Indy fine dining scene and I recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stopped by this restaurant during our visit to Indianapolis. We had the early dinner special which was a great deal. The bread, wedge salad, lobster bisque, chop steak, and tenderloin were all good. The cosmopolitan drink as well as the carrot cake was fantastic as well. Service was really good and the ambience was great.

Great restaurant! I loved the atmosphere, and we were sat on the upper level which is less crowded and a little more intimate. We came to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. Felicia was our server and was so sweet, she even took a picture for us at the end. I ordered the Steak Miller (8oz) which was unfortunately overcooked. I had asked for it to be medium and it was more so Medium Well to Well Done. They took it back and it took them about 20 minutes to bring me another plate. My poor husband saved 2 bites of his steak just so he wouldn't finish before I got my food - Haha! They brought me another steak which was medium in the middle, but the sides were pretty much well done. I didn't complain and they also comped my meal - so I was fine. Overall, I would return. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and we had a great time.

My bf and I had a wonderful experience here for his birthday! Several people including the waiter, manager and the regional manager wished him a happy birthday and we were both super appreciative of this and it made my bf's birthday that much more special. There was also a card at the table that said happy birthday and was signed by multiple employees. This is a more fancy and upscale restaurant in which we dressed accordingly. A gentleman played the piano and sang songs that most would be familiar with, it made the ambiance more enjoyable. We sat at a booth which I had requested when I made the reservations. Our waiter Howie was nice and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and took no time to come out. My bf loved his steak and I loved the Chilean sea bass wt the butter sauce. The sides of mashed potatoes and mushroom & spinach was wonderful. Even the cocktails were great. We finished off our meal with the largest slice of carrot cake I've ever seen in my life. It was amazing though and can definitely recommend. This place is pricey for sure but to me it was worth it for the overall experience.

We were able to get last minute reservations yesterday and it was amazing!! My wife and I had reservations at McCormick & Schmick’s, however after waiting 10 minutes at the door and 10 minutes at the table without being greeted. We decided to leave and take the chance we wouldn’t get into anywhere. The night before we went to Capital Grill and they “lost” our ticket and we never got to eat. Upon arriving at Hyde Park we struck up a conversation with the gentleman greeting guests at the front door. We ending up telling him the stories of the previous two nights dinner attempts. Once seated, we began looking over the menu and while doing so, the Calamari app showed up at our table. We were confused because we hadn’t ordered any apps yet. Well it was the front door the gentleman from the front door who had sent it to the table! He walked over and introduced himself at that point as Larry Drechsler, General Manager of the restaurant! Larry said that it was the least he could do to make up for the other two terrible experiences we had the previous two nights! It was amazing just like every other aspect of the dinner! The seafood tower and Ribeye were all to die for! Literally the best steak I had ever eaten and absolutely hands down the best meal and service we had ever had. A huge shout out to Larry and his amazing staff. We are so glad we met y’all!! It was amazing!!

Food was good not great. Our server was excellent though. Honestly I can grill a better steak at home. A little disappointed in the old fashioned cocktail as well. I expected it to be better based on the recommendation and reviews.

Anniversary dinner and felt like the red carpet was rolled out just for us! Stan is an amazing Manager and personable! He answered all of our first timer questions with a smile! D.W. was an excellent server! The cocktail shrimp was slightly overcooked but well seasoned!! The Brussel sprouts are amazing! The spinach and mushrooms were good but would be 10/10 without the stems of the spinach. My medium well steak was absolutely 10/10. Flavor, feel and presentation were superb! The onion straws was a nice touch. That chef loves his garlic. Pieces were big enough to remove. Our drinks had a neatest delivery we have ever experienced!! The white pear and an old fashion(no cherry ) is a staple for us now! The carrot cake was a tower. Sadly it wasn't moist. Great presentation and wow factor. Then we were gifted a s'mores dessert. Very rich and sweet. The live music was the perfect touch. Thank you Hyde Park we enjoyed our time at your establishment!

Cool spot, great atmosphere (you can have a convo without yelling), staff was on point and very attentive. Some of our party had smoke drinks with a cool presentation. Food was on point, and the cake could be easily split 4 ways.

Incredible meal, my steak which was recommended to me from the specials was beautiful, service was perfect and the atmosphere was great. I chose Hyde as I could not get into St Elmos, I would not go back to St Elmos now after eating here, Hyde is far superior on the steak flavour front. And the service was far more attentive.
