The food and drinks were great. Tori made the best sweet/fruity mixed drink š¹ for my wife who was celebrating a birthday. I would definitely go back.
Good food, charming interior (we ate in the bar area). Have been coming to this location since it opened 30+ (?) years ago. It does not disappoint!
Excellent staff....attentive to our friends that brought their toddlers. Very accommodating and the special - the beef manhattan, was delicious!!!! Enough to take home for leftovers!
Stopped for the Tenderloin special they were involved in this week. Food ļæ½ here as always was awesome. I recommend this place to all my friends and family members.
I always have a great experience there. Food is always good and service rocks. Even though we had a party of 15...they didnāt skip a beat.
Some of the best chicken nachos in the city to go along with a great tenderloin and Burger! Marie gave us great service!
Went to hear a great band. Had excellent service and the food was great. They never disappoint.
Walking into the bar I loved it immediately. Old school charm but so shiny and classy. Waitress was extremely pleasant I sampled the beer flight. Bloody Mary spicy was super yummy. Then came the food! Oh my gosh! I had to close my eyes to savor every bite! I got the Hoosier Fritatta! So filling and scrumptious and flavorful! My daughter's French toast was amazing also. Best food I've had since who knows when!
Had a very tasty tenderloin sandwich. The sandwich was very large. The tenderloin was 9 to 10 inches around. The homemade Cole slaw was creamy and very delicious, seasoned to perfection.
I love the Aristocrat. It's comfortable and the food is very good. On my recent visit, my husband and I split the beer cheese fondue (yum!), and I had a French Dip sandwich with a baked potato. The sandwich was unexpectedly delicious, and the potato was a good compliment. My husband got the crab cake burger, and he said he'd take that over a real burger any day. He loved it. This place is an Indy favorite, and we'll certainly be back!
We were there for breakfast on a recent, beautifully sunny, Sunday morning. (I had just learned that they have breakfast hours on Saturday & Sunday.) Excellent food - I had some yummy homemade corned beef hash - and coffee and service.
First time I ate here and it was so good. The first bite into my guacamole burger I was in HEAVEN! Long have I searched for a burger such as this!!!! Also the tenderloin sandwich my wife ordered was huge and also cooked to perfection. There was a good list of beers wines and spirits but I was with my kids who enjoyed their meals as well. Parking when it is busy was a bit of a chore and there is space behind the building but donāt expect to fit a dually back there, I had a bit of trouble with a minivan. I would definitely come back some time(without kids).
Back for our second visit today at dinner around 6pm on 9/20. Classy is your first impression, lots of beautiful woodworking. Tastefully decorated with lots to look at, very folksy. Plenty of seating choices inside and out. Cozy booths and tables await you inside and an elegant bar. Outside plenty of seating with overhead fans when necessary. We sat outside this time around the weather was good and we enjoyed ourselves street side dining. The food here is very good and pleasantly priced. There was a very steady stream of people coming and going. Very busy here, parking could be your challenge, they have a small parking lot some street parking is available youāll have to be quick. Today we got the - Super Nachos for $14 - STACKED CORN TORTILLAS, CHEESE SAUCE, PICO DE GALLO, CILANTRO AND MEXICAN QUESO FRESCO CHEESE. CHOOSE: AVOCADO, BLACK BEAN, OR CHICKEN this could easily be a four person appetizer. (Itās huge) And both of us choose the - The Hoosier Tenderloin $16
A CENTER CUT FRESH PORK LOIN, SEASONED BREADING, AND FRIED OR GRILLED we both got the breaded tenderloin I got fries and she got broccoli for sides. The Tenderloinās huge pounded thin breaded and crispy fried. Absolutely delicious the French fries were snappy and perfect. The broccoli was smothered in butter and very tender and tasty. This is a great place to stop by for a bite. They have a large interesting menu, that deserves an eat through. š We look forward to a return trip. We had a great time, good service and wonderful food.
Had a delicious Hoosier Tenderloin did not disappoint! Huge over the plate serving, tender and good flavor, the fries were also very good. Wife just had Cobb salad, nothing special there. Highly recommend coming here if your in the mood for a good Tenderloin sandwich!
My husband and I came here for a quick date night and sat at the bar. The ambiance was so cozy and lively, but even more so our service was incredible. Logan was so friendly and happy, even though they were packed, and made fabulous drinks in a timely manner! Will definitely be back!
Great vibe, amazing food.
The picture doesn't make justice to the size of the porc tenderloin. However, it's actually thin enough to make it a reasonable portion of fresh food that makes you feel just stuff enough!
From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. Delicious food & extensive beer options, amazing atmosphere and fantastic staff! We tore up the Guacamole Burger and Reuben, left no crumbs š¤¤š
I didn't eat, that's why there's no score up there... Let's just say the night didn't go as planned.
Ummm... I've driven past this place probably 854 times and always wondered who had those pretty stained glass windows? WELL NOW I KNOW!! The Aristocrat!
Sitting on the patio is like being in a whole different universe! All the plants, and the iron fencing, the semi seclusion. It's GREAT!
The menu is a lil more for the cultured eater, shall I say? I'll be back for the Fish & Chips OR Shepherds Pie. Perhaps the Flourless Chocolate Cake. Yum.
The beer menu was impressive... The service was friendly without being pushy, and they have trivia on Thursday nights!
I wasn't allowed to sit on the rooftop. Something about it being a banquet room. Whatev.šHa!
It was a pleasant experience overall and I will definitely be back.
Oh yeah, it has its own parking lot in the back!!!
Stopped in this afternoon for a very late lunch. Seated quickly on the patio by a gracious hostess. Great atmosphere, very clean with pleasant staff.
I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was very good. My late lunch date ordered the Schintzle with red cabbage and potatoes dressed with caramelized onions. We expected the Schintzle would be accompanied by gravy, but it did not. It was a little dry. The potatoes and cabbage were very good.
Overall, it was a good dining experience.
What a fun night!! First time visit and had a fantastic experience. Courtney, our server, was amazing. Baked spinach ravioli was incredible. Fish & chips A+.. not greasy and super delicious. Live Celtic music was an unexpected bonus.
Staff was great & extremely helpful in setting up our event. The food was also amazing!
Our first visit this past Saturday and it won't be our last! Ordered the tenderloin, and it was really good. It's pounded thin, so it can be folded on the sandwich and still have enough to share. My husband ordered a burger and really enjoyed that as well. Parking can be limited, so consider an early lunch/dinner.
My parent's and I absolutely love going to the Aristocrat and eating lunch or dinner. The food is really good. My parent's and I favorite foods are the Cherry Chicken salad sandwich, the club sandwich or the grilled or fried tenderloin. The staff is always friendly and they are always busy every time we go. I would definitely recommend this this place to my friends and family.
The ambience and service were terrific! The food? They have a variety of interesting options, but our appetizers and entrees came out at the same time. I got the Mac and cheese burger but was disappointed in the lack of flavor. The spinach dip was just spinach with cheese on top. We got a beer cheese croc, it was actually pretty good. We had a good time, but canāt give it 5 stars.
So far I've had the spinach dip, fish and chips, tenderloin and mushroom brie soup. All were very good, with the fish and chips being the best. However service is... Not ideal. Both times I've been you have to ask for things you obviously need (empty glasses) or wait long times. I've been when they are busy and when they are slow. All that being said, I will go back cause the food is pretty good.
Old world charm with a crusine that any chef would be proud of. Fish and chips excellent, cottage pie out of this world. Care and details abound. Highly recommend.
We went for brunch and were seated immediately. We went right after they first opened. I got the crab cake Benedict with their potato casserole and one Blueberry pancake. My husband got their French toast. Overall the food was pretty good. Not my favorite crab cake Benedict but it does the job. What I really enjoyed was the pancake. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside! Husband said the French toast had a similar crunch on the outside too.
They have the best tenderloin in Indy and the service is great!
The classic club sandwich that I ordered was perfect. The atmosphere was great. Celtic rain was playing live and made for a great evening when they engaged with the crowd.
I had ordered the bourbon peach blast, while they were out of peach they substituted mango after let me know it was out and it was fantastic.
Shout out to brandlyn who made our night spectacular.
Wonderful dining experience. Great food with lots of options. Great service! They had a live "Irish Shanty Band", I'd never heard of such a think but they were super fun!!
