Went to rock bottom before the Pink concert. Very busy place. Gave our name to the hostess. She said it would be an hour or so. We waited while other people were seated. Went to the hostess to ask how much longer and she couldn’t find my name on the list. The manager was there and seated us right then. Ordered appetizer and waited for a bit before we ordered our meal. The meals came out right before the appetizer and had cold spots in the mashed potatoes and chicken so it had been sitting somewhere for a bit. The food was good (except for the colder places). Probably won’t be back to this place.
Good food good prices and some good beer. If you want something different in a beer, try the 21 gun. The 2 a.m. burger was very good, I modified my burger by swapping to pepper jack cheese and getting my egg cooked over easy. We made reservations for 10 and when we arrived they had are table ready to go. The server did a pretty good job of getting all of our ordered correct, we had one mistake and that was quickly fixed. I would definitely go back there again.
Message to the owners: You would be very smart to investigate a future location on Long Island New York! You would be even more successful!!

Great menu and wide selection of beers. We had a party of 12 and the staff was very accommodating . We were seated in lower level with pool tables and wonderful atmosphere to visit with friends . Thank you!

Was pleasantly surprised with a veggie burger that is made in house! Most places just give the typical Morningstar brand patty. Thank you for taking the time to create your own! It was delicious!
First walk in you feel welcomed by a bright smile and a friendly waitress. Our waiter was fantastic as well! Now the food, I was taken completely off guard when we ordered the nachos! Seriously hands down glad we came there! The nachos were huge and delicious with chicken! Plus we got my toddler the grilled cheese which tasted good too and he loved the veggies with it! Highly recommend!
We visit often. However this time it was a group of 6 and they had only 1 option for seating.. most of the tables seat 4.. but we still had fun.

We came in for a team lunch and had really good experience . Staffs are nice and polite , restrooms are neat and clean, and food is delicious. Everyone praised their food. But something tells me this will be even a better place for dinner parties. I would definitely come back sometime for dinner and would recommend my friends too.
Without question, Rock Bottom is the place to be in Downtown Indy. The food is great, the drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is just plain fun. Highly recommended. Be sure to order a flight of beers so you can enjoy their craft! They have a side variety of beers and none disappoint!
Awesome food, even better beer. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was fast, attentive, and organized. We ordered dessert and it was good, but it was cold. We weren't asking to have it removed from our bill, but the waitress did anyway. Highly recommend this place for a good steak and a beer.
Wow! After a weekend of not so great restaurant experiences... this place changed up the pace.
Although there was an hour and forty minute wait last night (Friday) we were able to get in tonight (Saturday) what made the experience great was Specifically Rees, our waitress! Although we walked in to an incredibly busy restaurant and she was serving many other guests, she gave great service and at the end apologized for the rush hour wait times. It’s the simple act of communicating such things that makes the experience better overall! Thank you so much Rees! Next time we are in town we will stop by!
Ordered the street tacos (pork) and the flavor was bonkers! We got the chips trio (salsa, queso, guac) and the guac and queso were the best, the queso having the most flavor.
Overall, this place is worth visiting!
Tried the avocado chicken sandwich and the fish & chips for a weekday lunch. Both were excellent. Our server was also friendly and completely on the ball. Cozy atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
This is a must see in the heart of Indianapolis. The service was great. Our server let us try different beers so we could pick the right one that matched our taste buds. Every single beer was made to absolute perfection. They brew their own beer and you can see it being made. The midlife crisis was absolutely amazing and so were the pickle chips...and that jalapeno ranch is to die for! You cant pass this place up. Even the design inside is enough to make you ohhhh and ahhh. You want something original, unique, and fun to do while you're in Indianapolis this is the place to go.
Great brew place near the hotels. Food was fantastic and the beers were creative. I'll probably go back a second time while I'm in town.

All the food ordered was delicious, cooked properly and served at an appropriate temperature. The dishes ordered were the fish and chips, jambalaya, and NY strip. Our server was amazing and had tables spread all over the restaurant, but we were never lacking for attention. If I remembered his name I'd mention it here and tell everyone to request to be in his sections. Did not try any of the in house brews, but did try some of the different cocktails and all were expertly made. This was the first time dining here and will definitely return in the future.

Docking 1 star because fries were a bit cold and mac and cheese was underwhelming. I think the kitchen was out of sync because the burger came out perfect.
A bit pricey (which should be expected as this restaurant is "upscale"); you should expect to pay ~$15 a plate here. But the food is really great, so at least you should know you are getting a good meal for your money. I got the pretzel encrusted chicken (came with mashed potatoes and green beans) and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the stuffed peppers and loved them. The beer is pretty solid too. A handful of choices in a variety of styles. I just wish the atmosphere was a little more "comfortable" and a little less formal. It's a small thing but it felt less cozy than I generally expect breweries to be.
Overall, if you're want to go out to slightly fancier establishment and don't mind paying about $15 on a meal and $6 on a 20oz beer this is worth a try! Very good food.
I enjoy Rock Bottom but the staff isn't always friendly. It depends on the day and the time. I enjoy coming here on my lunch break and splitting nachos with one or two co-workers because the portion is large. They also have an interesting selection of beers and cocktails. This is not the place to go to if you're looking for a a special or extraordinary meal but the food is still good.
