Reviews Kuma's Corner

My wife and I have been going here at least once a month since they opened. They are my benchmark for burgers, upon which all others must be judged. The menu is solid from top to bottom, and the portions are massive. I think of myself as someone who can eat a lot, and I’m usually only able to finish half a burger, and half of the fries, leaving a kickass lunch the next day. Great staff, great tap list, great service, and a Chicago Handshake is always available when dinner needs to turn into a party. Couldn’t recommend more highly Pro-Tip: Use leftover Slayer burger to top scrambled eggs the next morning.

Had never been here before but always curious. Read the reviews good and bad. I honestly haven’t been any place where the service was this good. Beyond excellence. Every single person we encountered wanted to make sure we had what we needed and we were happy. When we left, we were told “thank you” at least 4 different times. And then the food. I’m vegetarian so always skeptical going to a burger joint. House Salad = amazing, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Vegan burger= best I’ve had. Food was hot, and amazing! Who ever is managing this restaurant has high expectations and they are being met with happy energetic employees who really care. I’ll be back. I’m vegetarian and will be back to this burger place many many times.

Finally made the trek from Dayton. After having been to the Chicago location I knew what I was in for. I am beyond excited that my favorite joint is now only 100 miles from home! The atmosphere is perfection and the staff is amazing! The food is the only thing better than the service! Too notch place for damn good burgers. The Mac n cheese ain't no joke either. Dayton, Ohio needs you! Until then, I'll be seeing you...

Great food, drinks, and vibe. I love the metal vibe, you can't find anywhere else like it. The burgers and fries are awesome as well. I recommend the namesake burger. I love an egg on a burger, but most places don't do it right. Be ready for huge portions. Also, try the malort, it's an experience.

Our neighbors highly recommended this place and they’re weren’t kidding. Excellent service and the Led Zeppelin burger I had was fantastic! My daughter couldn’t believe the size of the Mastodon burger. My son is a chicken finger connoisseur and really enjoyed them. My wife had the Lair of the Minotaur and was highly satisfied. Thank you for a great first visit!

Food was great, service was better. Kayla was phenomenal and some other fancy lady (maybe a manager) totally helped us out with seating. Hands down great place to be, eat and enjoy. Also, dogs allowed on the patio

Went there on a whim, and we were glad we did! My friend and I were looking for someplace to eat before heading to the White Rabbit for Burlesque Bingo, And happened to park right in front of Kuma’s. Delicious decision! The friendly staff, wonderful mac & cheese (with added bacon and peas!!), lovely weather to sit outside... we loved it! My friend loved his pulled pork fries, too! We will definitely be back, bringing family and friends!!

This was a hidden gem. First time and wow this place was different than anything I had been to before. A metal music vibe but no overpower for non-slayer enthusiasts to not enjoy. The food was big, hot, and delicious. The staff were very helpful and polite. I recommend this place to anyone passing through or in Indianapolis. I will be back!!

Nice burger spot in a trendy part of town. The place promotes a rock concert venue vibe but not sure if they have live music. Most burgers are around $18. The flavor is pretty good, just not great. Side salad is uninspired pile of romaine and shaved carrots.

I got the chicken sandwich and it was huge, it came with a side of fries or salad; I picked the salad, which was really good. I couldn’t finish all of my sandwich. Food was good. Service was good as well. I just felt like the price was bit much.

It's all about the food! These are probably the best burgers I've eaten in a long time and that mac-n-cheese SLAPS! Try this place out and if you're not a fan of heavy metal music, you're welcome to sit outside. 😉

Absolutely one of my favorite burger places in fountain square! If your not full from one of these things, well I guess you’ll need two then but they are plenty big and delicious! Service is always great they keep your drinks full while you wait for the grub! Highly recommend! Will be back again before to long! Thanks for the wonderful burgers!

Amazing burgers and atmosphere! If you love burgers and love metal music this is the place for you. I will say if you don't like metal music you should still come for the burgers. They serve huge portions. Homemade ketchup and other items make you feel the effort and love they put into their food. The burgers served on a tasty pretzel bun, are based on metal bands. With a wide range to choose from they also do a burger of the month. You definitely won't run out of options. I also recommend their salads, especially the ceaser. They make their croutons in-house out of their pretzel buns. All their food is really good. They also have an extensive beer selection. With tasty cocktails too. You definitely can't go wrong picking this place for lunch or dinner. The only problem will be figuring out when you'll be back. *update 07/08/23* The food was great as always. Service was outstanding as always, and we tried the jalapeño poppers for the first time. We enjoyed them very much. They came out fresh and delicious.

Wanted to try the November burger special, the Sleep. It was good, bottom of the pretzel bun was really hard that was the only “problem”. Fried avocados were delicious.

To be honest, Inside the music is a little loud so if you are with a group of friends and want to chat, be seated outside. Atmosphere was really neat. I love the metal/rock theme with the restaurant. Food was a nice size serving and delicious. I can usually eat mine and what's left of my wife's food, but not here. If you are really hungry, get the slayer..omg a bed of fries, topped with chili. cheese. jalapenos, cherry peppers, a hamburger so good and so much food. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the price.2 people 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 4 drinks $92. So just be ready when you go. I would go back.

WOW!!!! If you're a heavy metal music lover and want an outstanding burger this place is for you. The music isn't overwhelming if you're not into it as well. The servers are great at pulling off the whole experience as well. Soooo on to the burgers .... Amazing!!!! The pure portion size is gigantic compared to other sit-down burger places in town. The toppings are equally as plentiful. I had sat next to the open kitchen area and saw their mac and cheese and although I thought it was too much with the burger I just HAD to try it. Very creamy and cheesy and the pasta wasn't overcooked. YUM!!!! I highly recommend it. You can always take some home as I had to with just 'small' portion lol. Very nice spot with street parking and their own lot across the street. The restaurant is an open area with doors that are open like windows and patio seating outside as well. Highly recommend for something different to try. It's not your ordinary burger place. Side Note:. Notice you can have these as a chicken, black bean, beyond or regular hamburger

A coworker suggested Kumas Corner! The atmosphere is metalband heaven! If you love hard core metal music, good beer, great burgers and fries this place is for you! I had the grilled chicken clutch sandwich added mushrooms and fries... My spouse had a Long Island and the clutch burger add mushrooms. OMG, it was so good and fresh! As a side note: I noticed the offer vegan options, like a black bean burger patty or veggie patty. If you don't eat meat you can still feast like a rockstar! Watch the videos!

Kuma's Corner is an absolute gem in the world of burger joints, and I can't praise it enough. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The rustic decor, with its dark wood and rock 'n' roll memorabilia, creates a unique and cozy ambiance that's perfect for a casual meal with friends or a special night out. Now, let's talk about the food. The burgers at Kuma's Corner are nothing short of legendary. Each one is a masterpiece, piled high with flavorful toppings that make every bite a taste sensation. The combinations are creative, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. Whether you opt for the signature Kuma Burger or one of their inventive specials, you're in for a treat. And for those who prefer something other than burgers, their menu offers a variety of equally delicious options, including mouthwatering sandwiches and salads. The service here is impeccable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to make recommendations or answer any questions. They create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. One of the highlights of my visit was the amazing selection of drinks. The Oktoberfest beer was a delightful seasonal treat, perfectly complementing the hearty flavors of the burgers. They also offer a refreshing cider that pairs wonderfully with their dishes. And if you're looking for a guilty pleasure, don't miss out on the loaded French fries. Crispy, golden, and generously topped with cheese, bacon, and other indulgent toppings, they're a must-try side dish. In conclusion, Kuma's Corner is a culinary haven that exceeds expectations on every front. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is just right for a memorable meal out. Whether you're a burger aficionado or simply looking for a great dining experience, Kuma's Corner is the place to be.

Great food, cool vibes, fun people. Mac and cheese is the bomb. Burgers are good too. Update (August 2023): Still fantastic. Monthly burger rotations makes each experience unique. Highly recommend the mac and cheese (lots of customization options) and the Cairo Jag (pictured with Brussel sprouts; this month's burger special). Can be a bit loud, so not the best for conversations.

This is a hard one…I freaking LOVE this place. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the BEST freaking hamburger I’ve had in a very long time. (Got the Kuma special, but they all looked great!) my only minor complaint was that their beer list was a little IPA centric. I can’t wait to return!

I ate my food way too fast to snap a photo, per usual. Just as great as I remember it in Chicago. The Mac and cheese and Chris cut fries still appears in my dreams and goes great with any burger. Hands down the best burger in town.

Kuma's is a wonderful location! The food is great with a wide menu selection. The food is cooked to your request, and food allergies (Shell Fish) are noted on the menu! The atmosphere was focused on Rock and Metal Music along with the ability to enjoy the food and conversations. Service and hosting is satisfactory and welcoming to the customers. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great lunch spot or dating location opportunity. Approved by the Modern Pirate Lord
