Thai Taste never disappoints. It’s been a minute since I’ve eaten here…. It’s been a favorite of my family’s for 20+ years. I am so glad to see the they are still running a great business; the food quality remains awesome, the owner STILL waits tables and serves, and he continues to make his famous homemade ice cream. And wait - the prices have not increased…. I’m sure the prices are the same range as at least a couple years ago. Shocking considering food costs have gone up every where. Despite that, our portions were still great and the food was absolutely delicious. Pictured: #42 Pla Sarm Ross (deep fried tilapia), #37 Seafood medley, #40 Pud Thai with chicken, and homemade mint ice cream. Do yourself a favor and save room for ice cream. If you’re really wanting something special, save room for rum cake AND ice cream.

I had a great lunch there on Saturday. It was simple pad Thai with chicken and it tasted great. I picked hot and it was just right for me. For reference, I am Chinese, so hot would be average hotpot spicy.

I made the delightful choice of ordering the Yellow Curry from Thai Taste, and it turned out to be an incredibly satisfying dish. One of the things that impressed me the most was the ability to customize the spice level according to my preference, ranging from a mild flavor to a fiery Thai hot sensation.

Quaint location, tasty food, friendly waitress. I had the #3 rice (pork) lunch special: good-sized portion of the entrée, with a spring roll and salad, and was inexpensive. I ordered two of those Thai teas which went well with the meal.

I got the shrimp cashew and water chestnut meal. Mild seasoned. OMG. SO GOOD. SOOOOOO GOOD. Every time I visit Indiana, I come here for this specific dish. This is a small family owned restaurant, give them a shot.

We came for a date night, and found a quaint little treasure in middle of an unexpected location. Would much like to see the diamond in the rough, reach a much more balance playing field to display their amazing talents for the kitchen. Staff was very polite and items arrived in order. Tasting something old and something new, our pallets left very pleased and our bellies full. Thank you for the evening

This is the restaurant where I discovered I love Thai food. It is the standard by which I judge every other Thai restaurant. Best red curry dish ever. Pad Kee Mao is amazing. Deserts are to die for. 👍👍

Today at Thai Taste, I indulged in yet another delicious serving of green curry. Just like in Thailand, my favorite is the Thai hot variety. Meanwhile, my daughter opted for the Spicy Chicken dish. As always, we had a fantastic dining experience and enjoyed the delectable food that Thai Taste consistently provides.

We went to this place for dinner right before the movie. I ordered the curry with peanut flavor, my daughter ordered green curry with chicken and my son ordered some kind of vegetables with chicken. Also we ordered Thai dumplings for the appetizer. Personally I didn’t like Thai dumplings. I’d rather have either Chinese or Korean dumplings. Besides that, all three dishes are good. We had a good time.

One of the best lunch I have ever had my life. The soups entree and THAT RUM CAKE is to die for. Don’t think twice just go for it.

Likes: We received recommendations from a friend and decided to try it out. All dishes we ordered were delicious served and in fair portions. Dislikes: we think dishes could be served more together rather several mins in between. I felt bad getting my food first and dinner partner was starving but had to watch me eating. I finished half way and had to pause, sobwe could at least dine together. Second thing I didn’t like has to do with setting presentation. I liked the authentic Thai decors but turned off by the big dirty brown spots on the inside of the entrance door. It looks like something that just needs a quick soapy scrubbing. The entrance door is one of the first thing guests see, and it should at least be kept in nice clean condition. First impression is important.

Although the noodles (pad see ew), which landed first, were underwhelming in almost every way, the other dishes (pla muek pud ped & pla duk pud ped - squid with chili paste and sole fish fillet in a red curry sauce, respectively) were so good everyone promptly forgot all about that. Will definitely be back for the wide variety of authentic Thai dishes that are not as well known stateside, and suggest you do the same!

OMG. Don’t judge a book via cover, right?! The food here is delicious, and the price is extraordinary. My son and I had lunch for $20 total—soup, pad thai, spring rolls. He had beef pad thai, and I had it with tofu. The tofu version is loaded with vegetables. The vegetables are prepped beautifully—carrots have frilly edges; cakes have stripes. Peanuts on top—fabulous. Stop here for lunch!
