Wow, this place may be known for its beer and burgers, but their Sunday brunch is one of the best I've had!
My wife and I headed out to an early brunch and found convenient parking (free on Sundays) along the street. (They open at 9 a.m.) Since it was sunny and very comfortable outside, we chose to sit on the patio overlooking Mass Avenue.
Our server was very attentive and upbeat throughout our breakfast. After she brought our beverages, it didn't take long for our meal to be delivered. Overall service was excellent!
My wife opted for the Eggs Benedict Sandwich - two slices of thick-cut ham, fried egg, smoked gouda, with a house-made spicy brown mustard on a pretzel bun. She chose the sweet potato waffle fries with cinnamon butter ($1 upgrade) as her side. When the waitress set her plate down, we did a double take at the size of the sandwich. I got to sample a bite of the sandwich and we agree that it was delicious. The ham was full of flavor and the mustard and pretzel combo really added depth of flavor to the meal (much like it does on the Ralston burger.) She needed a "to go" box for half the sandwich! She also enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries. They normally come with house ketchup, but she opted for the upgrade and was glad she did. Delicious!
To go along with my giant cup of coffee, I chose two entrees: French Toast and Bananas Foster (which comes with two slices of bacon) and my side of mixed fruit; and the Ham and Brie Crepe with a side of yogurt and blueberries. The French Toast was huge, nearly two inches thick and had a cake like texture inside the crispy exterior. Cinnamon syrup, powdered sugar, and plenty of bananas covered every bite of the the toast so that each bite gave full flavor. No alcohol flavor was detectable on this version. The crepe was light and had folded slices of ham wrapped inside with gooey cheese.
All the items we ordered were prepared well. If there was any negative at all, it was that the bacon was a little bit soggy and cooled, but still delicious.
I hope some friends will read this and want to join us the next time we go out for brunch. 5 stars all the way!
Ralston's has been very accommodating to the FC Bayern Munich (German soccer) watch parties this season. Most of these have been at breakfast time, 9:30 ET. Breakfast menu is good, and the beer list is outstanding--something to match anyone's taste. The staff is always very responsive and helpful. The backroom where the club meets is all-ages and has darts and shuffleboard. It is an overall great place to watch the games.
Great affordable food, impressive beer list. The patio is awesome when weather permits. My fave menu item is "the Indy" with rosemary potatoes, although the quinoa patty is pretty dang good too.
Great staff, great beer list, great food, and they put up with us for 5+ hours and even sat down and hung out talking to us.
Dallas is a great server.

We walked in around 9:30 pm on a Sat and I was not excited about the atmosphere, ambiance or decor. But... we were seated quickly and our server was normal and attentive. I was still leery of the food based on the interior. Don't judge a book by its cover. When the food arrived, timely, the food looked amazing the attention to the presentation was unexpected and impressive!!! We had nachos, quesadilla, heirloom tomatoes with goat cheese because I'm dairy intolerant, sweet potatoes fries and great cocktails.... all at a reasonable price. So... close your eyes when you walk in, open them when your food comes out!!! 5 STARS for the food 1.5 STARS for decor/ambiance
Pet friendly and the $5 bloodys were really good....I got the pretzels and housemade mustards&beer cheese...hot and fresh...yummy. My servers was sweet and very attentive. Good music playing. Happy friendly people. Me and my dog McCartneys new favorite Sunday hangout!

Ralston's is our go to place for dinner. Great service, amazing food, and awesome beer list. A++
Food was amazing, the service was great, the taste was beyond anything I expected, shuffle boarding, darts, great place to take someone.
bartender was super friendly and helped my mom find a beer she liked (even though she's not a craft beer drinker). Their Reuben fries were amazing!
Sports bar with OK food. Loud. Good service. Good beer variety, the onion mushroom burger I ordered was over cooked though juicy and just OK. Nothing memorable about it. The beer battered fries were good but I wouldn't go back for them. My partner had the veggie burger and really liked it. I think it was made in house. Good sweet potato fries. Nothing about this place would make me want to return.
Co-workers and I were on a mission to find brunch early on a Saturday morning with alcohol service. Found mimosa's here at 10:30am! The Ham & Brie Crepe with a side of fried potatoes with rosemary was very rich in flavour. The ham was browned nicely. Nice friendly guy waiter, missed his name. $6.00 bucks for the Crepe was a steal.
Had dinner here for the first time on a Friday night and was able to get a table fairly easily. The service was great. Our food had good flavor. My wife had the cremini mushroom flatbread and she thought it was really good. I had the breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin was pretty good. It came on a cornbread bun, which started off being really good but half way through the sandwich I had no bun left. It had broken into many pieces on my plate. The onion petals were decent. I'd like to eat here again and try out their burgers.
Only had a couple of drinks and a snack, but we had a good time. Fast service, good drinks. The sauces with the pretzel bites were great! The place itself isn't much to look at.
Very comfortable atmosphere and great service! I would recommend 31st man flat bread sandwich with mozzarella cheese and a side of soup. The best place to get some warm food a good draft and even play a game of shuffle board.
We're so glad we gave this place a second try!! We visited Ralstons when they first opened and were disappointed; cold food that was needlessly complicated and toooo expensive. We've visited twice this fall and thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches! My date has gotten the 31st Mann both times we've visited recently and I had the Eggs Benedict sandwich and the Recession Burger. Everything was delicious and the sides were tasty and gernerous. We also appreciate their beer selection! It would be nice if the staff was a little more friendly/professional when we first came in but that would be our ONLY (small) complaint.
Rah Rah for Ralston's. Nice bar with friendly servers, good beers, decent drinks and food that's different from it's little brother, Chatham Tap. Great place to hide from the teeming masses on weekday afternoons.
We sat outside on the patio and really enjoyed this nice little spot. The menu seemed very healthy. My fiancé and I both had flatbread sandwiches and they were wonderful. I didn't care for the champagne dressing..just too tart! Everything else was great so all in all we thought it was a nice place for a light lunch!
Everything we ordered was delicious! The fried brie w raspberry reduction was a great app. On the menu it gives pairing suggestions of food with beer. I ordered the duck flatbread (it's more of a wrap than a pizza) since I had a hefweizen, it was so good. The sweet potato waffle fries were, but ordering the side of cream cheese cinnamon sugar dip made them amazing. I highly recommend!
They have yummy vegetarian options! & shuffle board!
Tried it out this weekend. The place is nice, but loud. The hostess was less than happy to be there that day but our waiter ended up being great. Food was good, although a bit pricy for the portions. Beer list was plentiful, with plenty of options although the staff needs to know their beer list better if they are going to compete with nearby brew houses. I'd go back and try it again.
They have Dragon's Milk Stout on tap, just saying. The rest of the draft list looks awesome. And the Flying Pig is delish!! Wonderful lunch.

Will go again..... Stopped in to grab to go during the Indy Tweed Ride. Had the meatball sliders and sweet potato fries. Sliders were awesome, fries not so much, but a cool place nonetheless. Glad to see more cool places moving into Mass Ave.!

Fantastic Night Out!. I just want to start out by saying that I am so glad we stopped in to check this place out! We were going to go in and just have a glass of wine before going somewhere else for dinner and 3hrs later we left full and happy! We sat at the bar and I am so glad that we did, Ryan and Andrew were awesome! Not only were they on it with helpful suggestions about the wonderful wine list and yes I said wine, they were very quick with their service and kept a smile on all night and when I say they were hopping back there I am not kidding!
While we sat enjoying our wine, we started to look at the menu and it is so unique, my Mom could not get over the amount of fruit that was used in sauces and sides they accented the dishes wonderfully. I could go into more detail about the options, but you really must read the menu for yourself because every item has a surprising twist. The portions are just right and the prices are great, exspecial since we had duck and lamb, can't find that everywhere!
Can't wait to go back with my husband and friends, I will be spreading the word about this place, but with how busy they were after only being open a month, I am not sure they need any help!

Great Beer, Great Food. I have dropped into Ralston's DraftHouse a handful of times within the first two weeks of its opening, and I'm pleased to say that I am thoroughly impressed. It's hard to start a review of this place without mentioning the beer selection, so I will. Wow. The options seem limitless with the amount on draft AND in bottles, and I find myself almost overwhelmed by what to try. As a beer explorer, far from being a connoisseur, I find the bartenders particularly helpful in finding a beer to fit my mood for any given day or time, and they still can provide me with a detailed description of my brew without making me feel like a complete novice for not knowing which IPA I want to drink today.
Besides the great beer selection, I find myself returning to Ralston's because I want to try all of the food- seriously, everything on the menu. With options like fried brie with a blackberry champagne reduction, a pulled duck sandwich (yes, duck) with a chipotle-peach sauce, pulled lamb sandwich with a chocolate barbecue sauce (and those are just a few of the things I've tried), it's hard to pick one thing to eat in one setting. Thankfully, because my bartender was so helpful in choosing my beverage, the menu provides the perfect sandwich option to complete my dining experience based on my beer choice. The flavors have been exciting and in some ways very novel for me.
The setting of Ralston's is comfortable- nice for any occasion. I'm looking forward to enjoying the patio as we head into fall. Although I have only had table service once, my server was friendly, outgoing, glad to answer questions, and there when I needed him. Again, the bartenders have taken great care of a beer explorer like myself. I can't wait to come back for my next adventure in beer and food pairing.
My husband and I went there last night and had appetizers. My husband had the pork and we split the Brie stick. It was all delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more food. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff was very friendly. We were very pleased with our night out.
I was torn between their rather funky selections of flat breads and one of their unique sandwiches. Their house burgers are a mixture of shredded potato and ground beef. Interesting. They also have this
Bacon, mixed greens, cucumber, green tomato, red peppers with an apple butter spread on flat bread.
...Pat and I decided to head down the street to Ralston to sample their beer list and try the out-door seating accommodations. The list was ample, and reasonably priced. The beer was delicious and the seating is quite cool.
I almost told our server to just bring out her two favorite dishes because honesty everything sounded that good. I couldn’t decide. But I managed to decide. AND EVERYTHING WAS THAT GOOD...
Liv was the best! She helped us with a large group on the patio for a celebration. We tried 5 different appetizers and they were all good!
It was great to be able to eat outside with the dog!

Loved the patio bar with street side video , you can enjoy the street vibe while enjoying your beer . Though they don’t have the best beer. I am fan of sour beer , but their sours are too sweet like rose wines. IPA were fine . But food is great !!! Tried the wings, loved them . The Philly taste great . So If you here for food and view , you are at good place , for beer Nah
Amazing service, food, and drinks. When we come to Indy we make sure this is one of our stops each time. Absolutely wonderful staff and the food is amazing!!
Super nice place. Great staff. The 'Muerica Fries have amazing beer cheese. The hot mess sandwich was to die for. It's name is very descriptive.
Diverse menu that had a lot of intriguing options for both food and drinks! Unfortunately we were just passing thru for a drive break but we enjoyed drinking the Best Judies (mine was spicy and perfection) while eating some goat cheese marinara knots with some of their unique lemon champagne cucumber slaw 🥰 - Camille was friendly and offered great recommendations, in addition to outstanding service during our visit.
We've been coming to Ralston's regularly now for both the food, service, and drinks! Their pretzel bun burgers/sliders are a favorite of ours as well as their waffle fries that come with a sweet cinnamon cream cheese sauce. There's metered parking out front, although they used that space in the summer for outdoor seating for COVID. They have a great beer/drink selection and draft options too! This place is perfect for dinner or to grab drinks with some colleagues and friends.
5 Stars All the Way, My wife is here for work. We are from California. A co-worker of my wife's recommended this place. Top Notch Service from Josiah, Great Customer, very friendly and made our visit very pleasant & comfortable. Food was delicious. Thank you again, Josiah, for the Great Service.
We loved our food and experience. The nachos were delicious, and we ordered 3 different hamburgers and the peachy pig. Everyone loved their food. Prices were around $10, but you pay extra $2 for fries. The rosemary potatoes were just ok, everything else was outstanding.
We went late on a Saturday when this is mostly a bar. There was karaoke going on, and it was completely ok. Much less crowded than other nearby bars, which is probably the best thing about it.
I loved Ralston's! I visited with a friend and was a little intimidated at first with the atmosphere - it's darker inside and didn't have much of a "homey" feel to me - but things got better from there. Our server was great - he was really polite and took the time to explain what all was good on the menu and what he'd recommend. My food was excellent - I ordered Alexander's Ziti and Cheese and sweet potato fries. I did think my meal was pricey but it was good quality food. I'd definitely come back here again and recommend it as a good place to eat in Indy!
Food was delicious and well priced, the beer selection had something for everyone, and the staff were awesome on both visits. The street parking right out front sealed the deal. I'll be back again when we're in town.
It is where we had our first drink a year ago, so we thought it would be fun to start a tradition to return.
Atmosphere is fun and light with great service.
Good food and beer selection. They are dog friendly which was great. Only complaint was the patio heaters weren't turned on and it was chilly. Our server was great though and even had a injured foot. Thanks.
We got the flight of sliders and these sliders ended up being a bit bigger than we were expecting. I got the Hoosier, a smash burger I believe it was called, farmhouse slider, and I forgot the other one. They were pretty good actually and I loved the pretzel bun. Only downside was they seem to oil the heck out of the buns, so be ready to use napkins a lot. A little pricey but probably would go back again.
Google recommended this place, because we love gastropubs/brewpubs. Google was right. Great patio with an Irish pub feel inside. Good local beer selection, and the flatbreads were great; but the pretzel bun slider flight was fantastic...chose your own 4 sliders from 12 options including vegetarian options. Will be back next time we are in Indy.
Had lunch with my adult kids while traveling through with our dog. Food was good, the atmosphere is great! And add in they allow pets!! Awesome spot to stop for a nice meal.
