Everything about this restaurant deserves an A plus. Elegant decor, comfortable seating, super friendly staff, knowledgeable servers, and the quality of food and wine is beyond outstanding. Our family has many favorites here- most notable of which are the goat cheese appetizer, seafood stew, and the scalloppini sautéed in marsala mushroom sauce. The meals are not unnecessarily Americanized; in fact they are exactly reminiscent of the authentic Italian fare found in the heart of Italy. We keep returning to Ambrosia not just for meals, but for the fabulous overall experience. Highly, highly recommend!!!
Went to the restaurant with a group of 6 to celebrate two birthdays and had a wonderful experience! We got two different apps., I tried a salad and then had the spaghetti pasta with the shrimp, not to mention I tried everyone else’s food and everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! There’s not one thing I would’ve changed about the meal! Even my simple salad was to die for! Our server was extremely polite and casual yet professional. Great intimate atmosphere for a good time and for some authentic Italian food!
It’s a lovely family owned truly Italian restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and freshly prepared. Great food..Great wine and a terrific staff! Who could ask for anything more? Certainly not us!
Great atmosphere, food is excellent, the staff friendly and professional. Very easy to see why this establishment is successful. Would highly recommend Ambrosia to everyone.
We were there on Friday night & had superb service. Our party of 6 dined outdoors, it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the entree ‘Medici’ & I cannot wait to go back & get it again! I’m going to rave to all my friends about Ambrosia!
We had Graham as a server and he was excellent, great service! The food was great!
We had a large party and.. you guys.. blown away by our server particularly (our group was crazy, plus there were so many!) and the staff overall! Everything was kept so clean (hard with a big group!) and food was timed exceptionally well. Overall, very impressive! (Also note: I've been before in the regular dining area and have nothing but rave reviews on food and service, just extra blown away by their large group accommodations!)
We were there celebrating our anniversary last night and everything was amazing! Dave is a wonderful server and took very good care of us! The cucumber salads and salmon fettuccine were phenomenal! Thanks again for making our anniversary special!
David is a fantastic server! Loved the founder's photos of their family. We've been enjoying the food at Ambrosia for 20 years. Thanks for the memories Gino!
Great dinner at Ambrosia Monday night. The cod special was exceptional! The bread...always delish. Split a tiramisu w T...great slice of birthday...very light just as our excellent waiter, David B said it would be.
Every course was amazing! Especially loved their special carrot soup and ricotta cheesecake. Delicious! Highly recommend.
Amazing Food! Gino and his staff always take care of their patrons. Great food and upscale atmosphere. Highly recommend!
After a randomized choice of restaurants, my friend and I decided to try this Italian restaurant! I would say we were not disappointed.
At arrival they were welcoming. They allowed us to stay at the bar and the bartender was very sweet, friendly, and polite. She offered us bread and olive oil. She allowed us to taste the wine before purchase.
She recommended us with great and delicious food. I have never had ravioli before and honestly it was a blessing eating and tasting all the savor for the first time. My friend had the Alfredo which she did not really enjoyed because it was a bit oily. It was in fact tasty but high in cholesterol.
Otherwise great atmosphere and service. I highly recommend.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ambrosia, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was enchanting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The menu was a true culinary masterpiece, offering an array of delectable dishes that were not only visually stunning but also bursting with exquisite flavors.
The attention to detail in every course was truly commendable. From the appetizers to the dessert, each dish was a work of art that showcased the skill and creativity of the chefs. The ingredients were impeccably fresh, and the combination of flavors was both innovative and harmonious.
The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to accommodate dietary preferences and provide recommendations, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
To top it all off, the presentation of the dishes was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Each plate was beautifully arranged, enhancing the overall sensory experience and adding to the anticipation of tasting each creation.
In conclusion, my dinner at Ambrosia was an extraordinary culinary journey that I will cherish. It’s a dining destination that truly deserves every one of its five stars, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable gastronomic adventure.
This is the best restaurant in Indianapolis. Have been here more than five times but never been disappointed. Highly recommended!!!

Ambrosia has turned into one of my favorite restaurants to stop and grab Pasta. The environment is very calm and laid back. Service has been phenomenal and everything that I’ve eaten has been fantastic. I have recommended this restaurant to Family, friends and many business associates. Next time you’re looking for somewhere to get Italian don’t hesitate just go!

First time visitor to Ambrosia. We had a reservation recently so obviously we got in on time.
Our waitress was super nice, introduced us to the menu, gave us some time.
Apps wise, I tried out the Calamari and the meatballs. I gotta tell ya, I’ve tried Calamari from many different places but Ambrosia is now up there with some of the better Calamari I’ve eaten! The meatballs were also delish.
I got the Chicken Parmesan as my entree. It was pretty decent. It may not look like much in the photo, but it was pretty filling!
Overall, this was a great experience. Definitely gonna make it back here again sometime.
Ambrosia is such a gem - ambience is 10/10, it feels romantic but comfortable, not uptight but still classy. Carlos was our server - he had wonderful recommendations & an effortless rapport; he was both attentive and knowledgeable. Ambrosia is a 10/10 on every level and we had a wonderful night, thank you to the whole staff!
Prosciutto wrapped shrimp appetizer was wonderful. Carbonara was okay a little bit heavier on the black pepper than I would normally like. Ambient service were all top notch.
Upscale dining, exquisite flavors and exceptional service. The pesto sauce on my ravioli was perfection. Reservations are recommended, but we had no trouble finding an open table for an early dinner on Tuesday. If you prefer an intimate, fine dining experience, you will enjoy this restaurant.

This place does it right. Family owned for I think 2 generations. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and amazing food that doesn't break the bank. We had appetizer, 2 entrees, drinks, and dessert for under $100 (before tip). Really can't give enough praise here but we will definitely be visiting again.

I honestly don’t know where to begin! They have so many dope views (outside and inside) it’s amazing. From the covered patio to the uncovered outdoor lounge area with the fire pit, to the inside chic bar area to the private room, to the fireplace are, to the closed off semi private area I mean…you can have a different vibe every time you come for a full season!
No matter what view you have though the food is WWE slammin! I couldn’t decide what I loved best so I chose the best of both worlds lasagna and chef..omg I could hug you right now. The artichoke appetizer have you thinking about them a few days later and the peach sorbet..drool..to see the review you know what to do @travelingfoodieguyde
We sat on the patio which was perfect on a Friday night. We had reservations but it wasn't too busy. We had cocktails, wine, arancini, spinach ravioli, spaghetti with shrimp, and tiramisu and everything was fantastic! My personal favorite was the appetizer. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Overall, a great experience!
This is my second time here. Both times, the service and ambiance were great. However, I preferred my food the first time around much more than this one. With that said, everyone in my party loved their dishes and cleaned their plates. If I return, I’ll definitely have the dish I had first visit.
Food was good, not stellar. Second bread was old. Very pricey, they can do better.
Nice Italian restaurant with a well-appointed outdoor dining area. Ambrosia is right on College Avenue, making it easily accessible but also a little on the busy/noisy side. The owners have done a nice job of creating a patio with shelter and shade. Good cocktails, nice menu with many options. We especially enjoyed the variety of bruschettas and pasta offerings. Shout out to our server, Mia, who did an excellent job of answering our questions and getting our orders out - we arrived late, about an hour before the kitchen closed, and did not feel rushed. Thanks, Mia, for your friendly and attentive service!
Busy for a Monday night. Good food and service. Drinks are good and strong. They do add the tax into the suggested tip, so do your own math. Try the lasagna.
Phenomenal first time experience. Privately owned family restraunt, with a fair amount of history in Broad Ripple. Very friendly and accommodating staff (paritally spilled a cocktail and they got me a smaller version to compensate). My dad got the monkfish (and got a massive slab of it) on top of a bed of what appeared to be block of lightly fried risotto). I got the linguini de Cambria(?), which was a simple but slightly spicy pasta dish. We tried the affogato it was fun and tasty (think of a root beer float, but with espresso and vanilla ice cream). Overall 10/10, would highly recommend multiple visits to try out the menu (reasonably affordable, most entree items $20-35).
Food was out of sight, short ribs were tender and delicious. My spouse got spaghetti con Limon Was terrific. David super fun and personable. Worth the trip.
As a transplant from New York, I have been searching in vain for over a year to find an Italian restaurant as good as back home. Today I found it. It's worth every penny and the food is the real deal. Zero complaints.
