The best Thai food I have ever had. So delicious, don't let the outside appearance scare you away.
So much Asian decor inside. Food is good and reasonably priced for Indy. Some of the best crab Rangoon, ever. Had a lot of items on this menu and it's all pretty dang good.
Recently got the GANG JEAD WOON SEN (Vegetarian) $12.95
Glass noodle soup prepared with chicken, vegetables (bok choy, carrots, snow pea pods and celery), green onions, dry mushrooms, black peppers, and cilantro.
The chicken noodle soup is one of my favorites. The sweet and sour soup and spring roll are delicious.
Absolutely the best Thia food I ever had. Price was fair and recieved so much food. The owner came out to box up our food. Loved this place so much
So delicious! We've been on the hunt for a new Thai place since moving to the area. Everything was phenomenal!
We felt we got a great bang for our buck! We all ordered Pad Thai, which comes with two sides. Both spring rolls and soup were very tasty.
The crab Rangoon is absolutely wonderful! It has the perfect ratio of crab to the cream cheese like mixture.
My daughters loved their chicken pad Thai. Shrimp and beef pad Thai were delicious. My husband got their hot sauce on the side and it added a whole new level of flavor to his dish.
We dined in and the service was good. Great to have the option to carry out or dine in! Highly recommend!
There are a lot of Thai restaurants in the Indianapolis area, but without doubt, Sawasdee excels them all in really nailing what my taste buds are after. The first time I ever ordered from here, it was my first experience having Tom Yum soup, and theirs is incredibly good. The ambiance and service here are great. I have been here several times trying various dishes, and have been very pleased with all of them.
This is, by far, my favorite spot for Thai food. I've been to several restaurants around town. However, I always find it worth the drive to eat here. Very friendly service, and excellent food. If you are new to Thai food, start with the Pad Thai. The Masaman Curry is another favorite. You really can't go wrong.

I have eaten here a few times and I've always had good experiences. The host has always been very nice and accommodating, and the food is always really good and fresh. Chinese and Thai food makes me swell up like a balloon so I always ask for low sodium and they never look at me sideways and are always accommodating. I recommend this place.
The best Thai food in town, hands down. I've tried almost every noodle dish and loved them all. The Mansaman Curry is out of this world!
Great wine selection, food, and atmosphere. If you're in Indy you have to try this place!
My family loves this place. It's veggie friendly and has amazing food. Be careful you don't go Thai hot though lol.
The food is really well prepared and flavored. They have a fantastic selection for vegans and veggies which primarily why we come / go.
I don't mind paying higher prices when the food is good and realistically I don't think their prices are too high - I think I just order a lot of food it's so good.
Anyway it's a must if you enjoy great Thai food and good service.
Was there on a Monday night, not too busy. Service was great, food was good. First time there and got the standby drunken noodles, easy to compare with other places. Spice options include mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot. Hot is definitely hot in my opinion, glad I didn't get the Thai spicy option.
The owner is very involved and kind. I enjoy their spring rolls and noodle dishes. My partner loves getting their curries Thai hot and they don't disappointment, especially when you can tell Grandma was in the kitchen and brought the heat. We regularly enjoy coming here.
My favorite Thai restaurant in indianapolis! I've been enjoying this place for over 15 years now! The Green Curry Chicken is absolutely amazing! So many great dishes here. The owners are so wonderful, I enjoy visiting with them every time I stop in. Sawasdee gets my top recommendation for a delicious Thai food experience!
Amazing food! You can tell the quality and care put into each dish . If you have not tried yet your missing out! I love their lunch menu, you get a soup, spring roll or salad and a main course for less than $10.
Sawasdee's pad see ewe is honestly one of my favorite dishes in the world. It's a very hard dish to get right, so it's one of the real tests of a Thai restaurant in my opinion. Everything else I've tried from them has been excellent as well.
If you like extra spicy, ask to get it "Thai hot", which they don't advertise as an option.
Definitely my favorite Thai place in Indy. The quality is always great. Perfect soup and light crunchy spring rolls accompany the lunch menu items. The Thai Noodle Soup and Green Curry Chicken are stand-outs, amid the more standard (but superior) drunken noodles and padd thai. Watch out for the spice levels though, they can fluctuate wildly from visit to visit (especially in the wetter dishes)!
Great service and pretty good food. The pad Thai was very large serving size. The other dishes could have more flavor. Zach was a splendid server and we would go back just got the great service.
Best thai food I have ever had. Charming place to eat and amazing service. Staff gives great service and are very friendly. Owner comes around to talk to you. Huge portions. I go at lunch and for $8 I take enough home for another meal. Highly recommend this place.
Best Massaman Curry I've ever tasted. I like it with tofu and extra vegetables. Delicious! There is always enough to take home.
And their warm green tapioca is unique and addictive. Best Thai restaurant around.
I am not a Thai food connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but I really enjoyed the food here. A friend invited me, and the place didn't disappoint. The food was affordable, delicious, and served quickly. Would definitely recommend
