Pioneer - Indianapolis - Photo album

A good dining experience with good ambience, friendly service, and a variety of small/large plates on their menu. They can make excellent customized drinks on request. The roasted brussels sprouts is a definite recommendation. A lot of vegetarian options are available for all the no-meat eaters out
I went as date night with my boyfriend. We ordered the mozzarella to start with, and it was amazing. I was less wowed by our pasta entrees. While they tasted good, I suppose I was expecting a bit more. The service was good and our server was really helpful! Would I go back? Probably, but I'm not s
It's a big room and that can make it look like there are less people than there really are, but don't let that deter you from enjoying some amazing live shows at this venue. The sound is great and a separate room with the bar to hangout when you need a break is a great perk. Patio is heated and larg
Every event held here is always awesome; I'm never disappointed when I go to Pioneer, be it for Spellbound, Low Pone, etc. The music and performances never disappoint. Great drinks, right down to my classic go to (whiskey and coke). Somehow it tastes better here? Must be the magic of the venue. Eith
Been here a couple of times, the food and service are excellent. The sausage plate is a must try for meat lovers, and the desserts are decadent and interesting.
Great venue, nice stage and dancefloor. Best outdoor area I have seen. Plenty of outdoor seating and heating to make your smoke break a pleasant experience. Love the variety of shows put on here. Only complaint, staff is less than friendly and it can take a while to get a drink.
Beautiful space. Great for intimate live shows. This venue brings in such a diverse group. Stellar drinks. Great service. I always have such a great time here. I'd recommend, if you haven't check out Low Pone. Monthly Queer Dance Night. All bodies, classes, races welcome to rock out!!!
We had a good experience. I was sceptical when I saw the menu but the food was actually really good. It has a cool look and feel, and a great location in fountain square. The burger was smaller than I expected, but delicious. The loaded fries are different and really tasty. Almost everything bes
For a Saturday night they were not busy at all. Good mix of German and Eastern European foods. Everything was delicious including the blood sausage, schnitzel, and potato pancakes. Beer selection is excellent and cocktails were okay. Would have rated higher but there is some truly excellent Germ
I went last Wednesday randomly. Not only were there specials on Pints but they had half priced appetizers too! I got two apps and a pint for $11!! Beyond that, the service was phenomenal! Sometimes when you walk into places like that, they seem annoyed that you're there or they're overly friendly in
This was an amazing experience. Great cocktails, courteous service, and amazing flavors. Second round and visited for brunch at sat at the bar and Taylor was great and took care of the customers but Veronica seemed confrontational and too good to be working and bartending so would not recommend see
Small plate style menu perfect for ordering a large variety of amazing dishes and sharing with your friends. The beer and wine selections are among the best in the area with a variety of styles that pair perfectly with their menu options. The waitstaff is amazing, and super knowledgeable answering a
I enjoy going here but there's only a small bar, so on busy nights it can take effort to get drinks. I don't drink alcohol and once spent almost six minutes waiting for my turn only to find out they were out of Red Bull, so I wasted all that time for nothing. However the atmosphere is nice. The outd
Freaking sick venue. The sound system is so professional and ran by awesome sound techs. Bar tenders are super friendly and their beer list is fantastic. Can't wait to play there again soon!
Fun. This is one of those gems in fountain square neighborhood. The food has always been delicious. Constantly changing menu means every visit is something new. One thing that never changed is the fantastic service. Drink menu is always full of new craft cocktails.
Impression: modern restaurant in the weird (in a good way) Fountain Square area of Indianapolis. Claims its German and Italian. I'll run with it, but it's and upscale version and the decor doesn't insinuate that type of cuisine. Experience: This place had a good assortment of drinks to choose from
