I visited Indianapolis with my husband for just a couple of days. everyday we are looking for Halal restaurant to eat. one of the best palatable food we ever tasted was from this restaurant . from Appetizer to Main course it was really delicious and satisfying. We ordered two different types of lamb, I also ordered food for take out ☺️. Meat was so good tasty and so tender we really enjoyed much. the lady who take care our dinner named Emaan. She was so nice and attentive to our table even it was busy night. location is perfect it is a bit far away from busy city have a huge parking area. Definitely we will go back here because of food and service.
Was just passing through town and stopped for lunch . Portions were good size, the hummus was amazing and so was the chicken shawarma platter. Service was friendly , atmosphere was enjoyable. I definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Took my class of about 10 students here. After basically pushing them in the door (they wanted pizza), most asked for to-go boxes because they didn't want to waste any of their delicious food! Reasonable prices and a surprisingly upscale atmosphere for its location in a strip mall.
Safe and wide open, well lit. Food was brought in less than 10 minutes from walking in. The lamb Mendi was so tender. The mango juice was awesome too.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The food takes time to prepare, so you have to be patient. In the end, it’s worth it.
Highly recommended!
The Arab culture known for generosity but here I did not feel that for a couple of things.
First, there was no welcoming drinks, appetizer, or even water.
Second, the food portions were small.
That’s why I gave you 4 stars instead of 5.
I’ll come back again and I hope next time everything gets better.
I’ve ordered take out from here 2 times and it’s been very good. Fresh, hot, decent portions. The rice is full of flavor. The haneeth is delicious. I thought the hummus was okay but my partner loved it and ate it all. Bread was also great. I’m looking forward to eating at the restaurant as I’m sure it will be even better fresh out of the kitchen.
I tried Mendi Chicken with rice for dinner. Amazing experience. The food was halal and very good. Mendi Chicken was very well-cooked. Really, liked the food and atmosphere. The price was very reasonable and the food quantity was sufficient. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Another good thing about this restaurant is that they have separate space for saying prayers. I found this arrangement very respectful and outstanding.
Such delicious food! My husband got the Mixed Kebabs and I got the Mendi Lamb and Rice. We will definitely be returning to try more menu items!
The food here is really nice, the lamb was so tender. It would be nice if the service was improved and atmosphere was improved.
Middle eastern food became an obsession to me because of my friend but after I ate here, I felt even more in love. Honestly, the wait for the food was all worthy! It is not the greatest nor aesthetic environment but the food turned out amazing!! The lamb was well cooked and soft to touch and eat. The rice was full of flavor and the sauce they provided was just good to the right extent. It is rare to find middle eastern food that are as good as expensive. Funny part was that I went there on EID. I recommend you order earlier as possible to your own convenience because you wouldn’t want to wait but trust me that it is all worthy! I hope they keep making such amazing, tasteful and delicious food.
i went with my family on my sisters birthday. i got the chicken and rice which was REALLY good. the chicken was amazing and fell off the bone. i also ordered a lemonade, and it was probably one of the best glasses i’ve ever had. it has a hint of mint in it which topped it all off. i really recommend this place if you love middle eastern food and/or want to broaden your horizon with different cuisines.
High quality, fresh, delicious grilled meat. We had the big combo at $34 with fatoosh w/vinegar ($7). Great value, delicious food, cant go wrong. Not a bad meal in Indiana, folks! Hard to believe but true.
Food and service were generally good [enough] at this all-Halal Yemeni spot. Bit of a chaotic ambiance but that doesn't bother us. I wanted a little more (spice/flavor and grill character) from the lamb mandi, but the rice was good and the grilled dishes (mixed grill platter, lamb ribs) fared better flavor-wise (though I personally wouldn't order the lamb ribs again - they're cut too thin and overcooked as a result). Will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes!
We went to this restaurant as a family in Fall 2021 and found the food amazing. They have tables as well as on-ground seating providing middle-eastern atmosphere! The shish kebab was excellent, chicken kebab was very good and kutfa kebab was extraordinary tasty. Even the kids who don't like meat loved them. The lamb soup was very rich. The dark tea was also very good with a smell of clove buds. The only issue was the cleanliness of the floor that does not give a great first expression. I highly recommend the place to meat-lovers and BBQ fans. The mixed plate should be enough for a family of four costing around $28 which is worth it.
A friend and I had dinner here and very much enjoyed our experience. We shared an appetizer and two entrees and the chicken kabobs especially were perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful. The baba ganoush was delicious, as was the fresh mango juice. Staff were all friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!
The staff was kind and helpful. The service was great. The food was awesome. I ordered the chicken kufta with rice. It was spiced perfectly and very flavorful. I also had the hummus and grape leaves appetizers. Again both were excellent. I will go back again! I will recommend to everyone I know.
My husband and I stopped by today for a late lunch/early dinner. This is my third time here, and his first. As always the staff are very warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is laid back and friendly, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend trying the Mandi lamb and rice, the mixed platter, the falafel, and the stuffed grape leaves. Also special shoutout to the rice, which deserves its own special mention. We will definitely be returning, with friends. Please go and check out this hidden gem!
