Really impressed with Ixca and saddened that I've waited so long to try their food. Very modern feel and food that compliments that vibe. Before tip, lunch for two was under $20, which is really solid. And the choices aren't just everyday Mexican food. Great variety! Can't wait to go back.
Just came back from vacation and saw there was a new restaurant in my neighborhood so I had to try it. Let's start off with the location, super large inside and they have parking off street! And once inside it was very fancy and clean, plus it appears that there is a bar! I had horchata (hopefully I
New to the neighborhood, Ixca (Eeshka), is setting the trend for what an Authentic Mexican Restaurant should be like. Don't get me wrong. I'm all about naked burritos and chicken quesadillas, but there are chains for these. If you're looking for Authentic Mexican food, this is your place! They don'
Ixca offers the best authentic Mexican food in Indy. The shrimp tacos would be amazing any day, but our waitress had the kitchen make them spicy special for my request. Amazing! Loaded with huge fresh shrimp cooked in a delicious spicy salsa, avocado and mango. My wife got the chicken nachos, and th
What a superb restaurant. Amazing food. Nice beer selection. Wonderful margaritas. And very clean. I'll be back!
My husband and I went here today for taco Tuesday and LOVED IT!!! First of all, the tacos are 2$ on Tuesdays and actually a pretty big size compared to some of our other local favorites! The tacos were great, and we were also surprised that they brought us some interesting and tasty chips for the ta
IXCA has quickly become our favorite mexican restaurant! And the Shrimp Tacos are THE BEST in Indy!
This place is amazing!! π The people here are always great, kind, and courteous. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I haven't had anything other than their tacos, but* everything other customers had ordered looked decent. Real decent. π
Their $2 taco Tuesdays are a pleasant offer to draw
Got the Tuesday special, five beers and 5 tacos for $25. Beers were Mexican origin basic Lagers, but the Sol was the best. Pork taco was the best of the three tacos I chose. Atmosphere was upscale and nice, but not pretentious. Casual family dining. Staff was courteous. Restaurant was clean.
We came on a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. Had the place to ourselves, well at least the bar area. That was a good thing in my opinion. We were in the mood for authentic steak tacos.
The tacos we're offered individually and we ordered our typican beans and rice individually as well.
The food was ver
Update 7/16: Raised to 5 stars. Service has been great ever since, love everything about this place. Highly recommend the Arabe tacos.
Food gets 5 stars. The service can lag a bit during busy times. I'm guessing because they are just getting started and it's a small operation. 1 more server working
This is more like 3.5 stars. The guacamole was great. My tacos were a little bland. My wife's carnitas were quite good. The margaritas were good. They were small but also cheap. Maybe they should offer different sizes?
Visited for a small party and was pleasantly surprised by this very low key excellent restaurant. It's as close to authentic as I've had since ..... well ever. Moderate prices, excellent wait staff, very good food, and they serve alcohol. Some Mexican beers , some craft beers and lots of recommendat
Great place! Stopped in for Brunch and the menu is small, but mighty. Had the Chorizo con huevo and it was delightful. Great portion size, homemade chorizo and good potatoes. Very tasty coffee, too. My only slight criticism is that some of the potatoes were a little undercooked. Otherwise, I would d
The food was pretty excellent. The pastor taco was my favorite of the three I ordered (pastor, carne asada, pollo). The three salsas are amazing, especially the hot. And donβt get me started on the chicharones. The waitress was extremely friendly and did a good job. It was clear that they were still
